Amazing how videos such as this remain useful. I just purchased an L322 model and was frustrated that there seemed to be no BT on the head unit.. I have now managed to connect it perfectly.. great video .. thanks 😊
Guys thanks for a great video I checked the electronics bay in the boot as directed and found a bluetooth module on top of the stack as you showed with your car. It's a 2008 Vogue. Turned the mobile bluetooth on, selected phone on the front display. Mobile asked to connect to Landrover pairing which I did and phone screen popped up. After a little while the contacts book activated on the screen and I was able to make calls immediately. Switched the ignition off for a while and back on again and contacts book was still available. Simplicity itself. Thanks very much.
I really want a way to play things other than phone calls through my system. When you were in that menu page on the iid app there was a tab for audio, can you please go back and click that to see if it enables the audio player?
This is an excellent question I also have... no response? There must be an electronic way to port other iphone audio through... without all those other painful adapter systems. Damn simple technology!
@@itsyaboinginda5841 not all have this option. My 06 did not but I’m purchasing a 2008 with aux port soon. It’ll be a bit redundant as I plan on purchasing a kit to fit the car with CarPlay
Hello guys im pretty sure it depend on what BT module you have. The older modules dont support phone book or auto connect, newer ones do. Newer ones i think being from late 06 plate up.
would a later l405 module fit a 2012 l322 as been looking around and the 2016 look identical to the late 2012..and would music streaming from mobile work ?? great vids cheers
Hello. Have a 2010 l322 SC. I have a curly cord for apple device that came with vehicle but only for iPhone 5 or older. Found a device on amazon called Mobee? Which lets me connect my phone to system to play audio when originally I wasn’t able to play music only use phone function.
Hello, I own a RRS (2008 3.6tdv8) and I don’t have an AUX input behind my armrest. It seems to be not fitted in. Do you have a kit for it and a video for explaination perhaps?😅 Thanks a lot Fan with Range Rover’itis
Would also love to see a video on this! I own a 2006 L322 (US spec) and would love to have an AUX jack but the only 2 options I can find are an FM modulator (which are just trash in my opinion) and a $350 USD NAV TV MOST AUX adapter which won't even give you an aux button
@@johnj596 Hey Powerful UKLTD... I get that you are more of a comedy act... but we have questions here. On another video someone says their 2006 HSE (not supercharged) has an audio AUX port (mini headphone jack) below the AC controls for the back seat... I SUSPECT... all cars are wired for this...but some countries and specs simply do not use the cover with the port connected. Can anyone confirm this? It would be easy enough to add a simple female port there.
Update: I opened the lower panel between the seats beneath the rear area AC vents and looked for wiring. DIdn't find anything obvious, there is a bundle of wires up quite high that don't appear to be accessible, not sure what this is for other than rear seat heater controls. Anyone else find a great and easy place to hack in an AUX port?
Does the blue tooth module plug into the tv tuner? I’m missing a tv tuner and I don’t know where to plug the end of the cable from the module. I have 2005 HSE

Ok so talking to the guys at GAP diagnostics it seems you need update the firmware on your early bluetooth module - lucky for me mine is the later firmware - i have ordered one off ebay to see if it is downlevel and then i hope i can show you how to update !
powerfulukltd what did you find out about the firmware? I have to pair mine every time I get in the car. Not the end of the world but a little annoying. 🙏

You should of done a dummy run, instead of making the viewer as frustrated as yourselves in trying to pair the phone. But your other videos have been excellent. Pity this one so poor.

In short, the Bluetooth pin is 2121.
And to read new disk till 2020 use BMW GPS DVD drive 6920182
My uncle had his range rover for 10 years, I've took ownership and discovered it it had Bluetooth 😄 there is just no way of knowing!

You have to put the pin code 2121 only the first time, then each time you get in the car and you switch on the Bluetooth it connects automatically
