BRSCC Clubsport Trophy 2024 ~ Silverstone ~ Race for the Podium

- A selection of highlights from our trip to Silverstone on the 15th and 17th of March to race with the BRSCC in the first round of the 2024 Clubsport Trophy.
Having never driven the Silverstone International layout before, we decided to do some testing on the Friday. That was a real treat, because it meant we were on the track with the Supercup cars!!
Having given up on the pursuit of more power over the winter, we settled for a 175bhp/tonne car and tried to get in at the top of class C. This paid off and we seemed to have good pace on the weekend! You'll have to watch the video for how the race unfolded, but we didn't expect to be leaving silverstone feeling slightly disappointed we didn't win the class!
It was amazing to race a car at Silverstone! Once again the racing was close but fair, everyone seemed to leave a decent amount of room, and it was great to be part of a grid of 44 cars. We're looking forward to the rest of the season!

Awesome driving Rob! Sucks about the gearbox, you definitely would've beat them without those issues. Is it time for a new gearbox then?

Absolutely brilliant Rob, you should be so proud what you have achieved. Fantastic driving and a podium well deserved and well done. The car sounds like a rotary when you speed up the footage. 😅
Cheers Gaz mate. Yeah it’s great just to be there let alone be competitive in the class! Fair olay to the old man putting the car together, we’re giving it a good go! Maybe a rotary can be his project for next season? You can tell him that… 😅
Great video. And I watched all the way from start to finish which. Good bit of driving (for a change) and unlucky with the gearbox. Great achievement.
