Gorgeous looking mk4 supra, the zf8 is now a must for these older automatic performance vehicles. This seems a better option then the 7spd DCT from the e92 m3

I'm absorbing as much 8hp content as I can right now. I have a turbo E46 that is in need of an upgrade. I have a Dodge 8hp on order as well as an adapter from Seems Legit Garage. My plan is to keep the clutch pedal
Dodge 8hp might be a tight fit as the bellhousing is quite big

Theoretically could you fit one of the hp70 zf8 boxes to a mk3 cupra with the ea888 gen 3 engine as the dq500 conversion is the only real option when pushing 600bhp as the dq250 box will shred gears.
Are you taking the piss? Sorry but I don't think you even know what gearboxes look like if your asking that question. No you cannot put a long rear wheel drive gearbox in a little front wheel drive hatchback 😂
Can you please make a video showing and explaining the transbrake feature? If so, you'd be the first. I want to know how high an rpm you can stall to. Also, what converter? This is never mentioned.

More drag losses so less power to the rear wheels but totally quiet.

Hello, I'm in the process of converting 8hp into my Supra turbo and I still haven't decided which tcu will I use. Can you make a comparison between cantcu and turbolamik tcu? Thanks
Cantcu is very very good 👌 oem feel and dont have to modify the main bord.
Turbolamic is good but not as smooth on the low speed shifts.
But has launch control, transbrake options and better for staging if racing

Its one we fit, i want to say subaru Forister then gets modified to fit the Supra Clock spring.

Depending on how much power you pump through it. 500hp i think it would hold up ok

zf limited to 7200 rpm still?
We have been to 8000rpm but wont go much more
Zf8hp 90 should be capable of 1000hp
They have a problem with the E clutch hub braking so fitting a new billet one is needed.
They also use the same clutch packs as the 70 and 75
We are looking into modify the 70s with some new parts to hold the power but will definately push until they slip and then make the upgrades

@@srdtuning331 what's the torque rating of the Hp70 zf box? You also have the hp90 zf, I assume that would handle even more torque.
Also in need to know the answer for that question@@TheCinderellaman10
