I bought the motherboard from amazon. It came with BIOS P1.80. It was able to run the AMD 5600G processor directly. I did not update the BIOS. I don't have a video card. I'm using it with motherboard + 4x16GB ram + AMD 5600G. It was useful for me to run AMD 5600G version of P1.80. You don't have to update the mother before putting the 5600x? because I bought the b 550 but the atx and I don't know if I have to update before to just put the cpu

I had to get one with a chipset B450. I have only built intel computers in the past and this is my first amd build. AMD and Intel are deffiantly so different. Great video by the way.

no need, you will need the BIOS file and FTA32 formatted USB stick, can be many files or folders in there
