Yeah she gives off a similar vibe to like classic Disney villains. Some people harp too much on everything needing to be a two-sided conflict but in a lot of stories that would just needlessly deflate and muddy the story.

She is fun as a villain since she has a god complex and has an "obsession" with organs and yet is horrible at being successful because she is gullible like most narcissists are.
Even at her full power, Cackletta was still defeated before the Bros. unlocked their hand abilities. Either the Bros. are that powerful, or Cackletta is a joke of a villain, only being carried by Fawful.
Both honestly, seeing what Fawful was able to do towards his end vs hers, it’s clear she relies on the power of others to remotely succeed. Even her final plan pretty much required taking all of bowser’s resources and even his body and powers
Omg you're right, Fawful was literally doing all the dirty work on this game. And him even noticing it at the end of the game makes a lot more sense now. Hell i wouldn't be surprised if the Peach bots were made by him
Eh, I’d say Cackletta and Antasma are on pretty equal footing. Both are very one-dimensional, with the simple goal of “secure the plot item, take over the kingdom.” At least at first. Bowsers betrayal served to enhance Antasma’s character, and being reborn served to enhance Cackletta’s character. I like em both, but I think each of them deserved better than what they got.
@@Connor_Kirkpatrick i dunno the two don't really compare. bowser's betrayal more hurts antasma and helps bowser. the game does not even treat antasma as the villain of the story anymore after that happens. he blows up just like every other boss in the game after beaing defeated while bowser gets a send off.

I LOVE Cackletta’s design! It’s so cartoony and expressive! I don’t know why I find her to be a bigger threat compared to other bosses! I suppose it’s the writing that helps! That final battle where she plans to take over the Mushroom Kingdom after conquering the BeanBean Kingdom makes the stakes that much higher!
Some people rib on Superstar Saga’s name because it’s just one game, but it makes sense when you think about it. The game is basically two smaller games in one, I mean a lot of people’s ideas of a direct sequel involving her is literally just the second half of the game with Fawful reviving Cackletta
I wish the bro attacks weren't so slow in the remake. They look so stupid standing in front of Cackletta. And she looks stupid for standing there and taking it.
I agree to that. They made it easy for us to focus on the action commands. However it did ruin the fight overall with the "stand there and wait to get attacked"
I can’t help but think about how painful the bros attacks in this game look. I mean, curling up in a ball like that can’t be good for Mario’s spine, and then Luigi starts bashing him with a hammer.

Me too, the OG made it much more challenging to pull off the advanced attacks in their entirety due to the faster attack speeds.
I can’t perform the Bro’s Attacks in the remake to save my life, its easier for me in the original.:/
