- After doing some research on smartphone remote start systems, I came across super company names MPC. This company makes very affordable, reliable and easy to install remote start systems. Most of their remote start system kits are plug and play, that require very little skill or knowledge about car's electrical system.
This specific smartphone remote start system is for 2017 Lexus IS200t but installation and programming process is very similar for most makes and models.
This video will give you really good idea on what it would take to install MPC smartphone remote start system at home by yourself. I'll show you what comes in the box, take you thru installation process and show how system works.

I ordered one with the phone App, and your video shows pretty well how to install it (The same as your Lexus IS200t install) Thank you. It made the install that much easier and faster.

With the app, when you start it and open the door does it still turn off once the door opens?
Yes it does shut off no matter if you start it with the fob or the app. It's toyota thing .

wonderful, is the phone module connected to cellular network via a sim card ?
The whole module is just connected to the cell network no way if swapping the SIM card
Any ideas why my alarm goes off for a few second when i start on my phone now (was not doing that when first installed and tested)

It’s 4G network. Pretty standard for cars

Kits are not universal and specific to Year, Make and Model
