Just an FYI for everyone, if you have a EVO-One, you have to add a 1 Amp diode for both the MyCar Linkr-LT1 and a RF kit.
To use them at the same time?
Will doing a diode allow you to use the rf kit and my car link at the same time?
@@mynewhaircut I used a linkr-lt1 only and didn't need a diode. I assume the diode is for using both together.
@@TimothyOldford oh ok cook so I. Guessing if you used both you would need a diode.
Could you share the wiring diagram on where exactly to add the diodes?
Adding one to a race trailer that I'm building. I have a basic Excalibur alarm system and looks like the siren outlet is the best to connect the input of the linker for it to send the push from what was told to me. Your video answered a lot of questions I had. Thanks
CarLink is exactly the same thing here in 2022.
I just installed CarLink + Evo All in a '17 Express 2500.
You have to plug the datalink cable from the T-Harness into the black female on the Evo adaptor bundle from the telematics unit for power, btw.
I have mine installed in Toyota RAV4 2020, worked for 6 months and now I have no communication with my car, will bring it to a dealer, but I have gut feeling that they have no idea of how to fix it
I've been looking at these systems to try and install on my wifes car, 2016 Mazda CX5. I don't know much about this stuff but it may not be too hard with all your videos. I think I'm going to give it a shot.

Well done, i installed the EVO-ALL and it works well. However, I am hoping there is not much programming after I make the connections. Will the Key fob (Lock, unlock, Lock) still work to start the car as well as the phone app? Thanks for the quick tutorial!
So you have to buy a separate data plan to use this? Or just connect and it connects to the app on your cellphone that is connected to T-Mobile?

How do you change the setting on the evo-all to the Fortin 2 setting to connect Linkr
hit the configuration tab to access the rf kits and select fortin 2 or open the last menu on the standard screen to make the change using your flashlink tool.

I know it works on the apple watch, google.. not sure? and yes its still mycar IMO, you need to turn on setting fortin2 for the linkr device when using a flashlink

Reed because my vehicle didn't come equipped with the Ford pass modem that's required to control my car from my phone. It would cost me like $500 to get it installed, and didn't come standard on sync 3 headunits until 2019
