- Thoughtless & Right Now, Korn, T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada; October 15th, 2021; Fall North American Tour w/Korn; Drummer Ray Luzier out with Covid - Fever 333's Aric Improta filled in
SO MANY YEARS THEY MANAGED TO STAY MASSIVE ! Due to the unique style - heavy feelings many can relate and Johns vocal so strong and unique .. FOREVER
Right. They lost their original rhythm section and are still a huge success these days. Ra Diaz was Suicidal Tendencies bass player though, so he's a highly skilled bass guitarist and is filling Fieldy's spot very well. They also lost their most crucial member, Brian Welch, for 8 years and they still kept the band alive. Once KoRn loses Jon, James, or Brian then it's not KoRn anymore in my opinion.
Thoughtless should be on their set list forever definitely a favorite
Agree! The song is incredible. It's the first song I heard that turned me into a fan.
in fact it's my favorite korn song
Aric really suits Korn very much, reminds young Silveria
Jonathan’s growls are so on point
They were amazing, sounded great throughout the entire show. I love JD vocals.
I seen them 3 times
Never a disappointment
@@johnrau2873 I have seen them twice but my goal is to see them 3 times, especially once Fieldy comes back, I really hope he will.
@leadme2thebliss21 I think he will
He going through a rough time
I seen them when they still had the original drummer
They definitely were ahead of the music industry
Another one was deftones and static x that were ahead at that time
Soooo much yes for thoughtless being back!!!
awesome they’re playing thoughtless!!!!!
Wow! Those growlings in Right Now!
With all due respect to Ray, before the camera panned to the drummer, I already knew it wasn’t him playing. It honestly sounded too “David-like” and my suspicions ended up being correct. This shows two things: 1) Ray has his own style which is extremely distinct when playing with Korn and 2) David had a profound impact on the band which kinda lives on when other musicians are filling in and trying to replicate his sound (with their own style of playing of course) as we see here.
Perfect, thank you!...I've seen them 8 times now. Still haven't heard this live.
Watching korn 🌽 and eating 🍿 would make me so happy.. I grew up as the black sheep in my family because I'm the oldest. I listen to korn when they didn't even know wtf was going on in my life.. thanks korn for all your music and getting me through my adolescents years.. best Era of my life. I'm actually your number 1 fan. Incognito..I'm from Dallas TX. And I jam this loud af when I get a chance. Hopefully korn is going on tour soon so I can make an appearance.
First time I saw them, they opened for OZZY and they have been kicking my ass live EVERYTIME since
You're lucky, bro. I have seen KoRn live twice and I've seen Ozzy 3 times at Ozzfest but to see Ozzy and KoRn together would be the ultimate concert for me. Throw Marilyn Manson in there and it would be a wet dream (I still regret missing Ozzfest 2003!)
What I love about korn is their groove and obviously Jonathan Davis
What a great video, thanks for sharing! That must have been a great show! Jonathan seems much stronger now! He’s up and doing his thing again, entertaining the world and even doing some headbanging. I’m so happy for him! Munky is looking good too. I hope Ray gets better soon. Covid has tried to kick their ass but Korn isn’t going down without a fight! Our Bakersfield boys won’t puss out! They’re amazing and I really hope to see a Korn show one day. 🤘🖤🖤❤️🔥
Thoughless has that KoRn-ness in it that you can sniff from miles away.🤟
this is awesome content as usual. thanks for the posting.
Is he using a single bass drum kit? Wow..hes killing it..like the David days..
bruh. there are double PEDALS. it doesnt require two kick DRUMS lol
@@rhettcollins4067 so where are ray and fieldy here?
Love these guys
Wow ty ty for sharing,,this is great,,JD sounds solo good,,,
Gosh I'd love to see them in concert again
Amazing dude!!!!!! thanks
Great. Thanks.
Thanks!
I think having aric on drums gave jon more energy .it seems like they are in the zone..
Where is Ray?
drummer from Fever 333 I believe
yeah it is
Aric Improta filling in for Ray out with covid
And Night Verses, yup!
Great to see JD didn’t use the chair this time I saw them September 18th he had the chair since he was still healing from Covid.
Korn thoughtless ufffa my favirite song
Fkn badass! Right on
Head should be doing the screaming on right now, he screams a lot better than munky.
While Head has a much more powerful scream, I think Munky's scream fits better for songs in which it was originally JD screaming in the studio version
Absolutely.
Obviously Head should do all background vocals.
I agree..
On "Right now" more than anywhere else.
@@hatchet4937 What?? Are u kidding?
@@hatchet4937 no
@@ChrisJohnson1988 there’s videos of Head doing them after his return, but not always. Idk why
I love koRn ❤️❤️❤️🔥👑
2:42 🔥🔥🔥
The fucking best
It's nice that Jon is still going strong after dealing with the side effects of COVID. I first heard KoRn back when Follow the Leader came out, and they've been my #1 favorite band of all time, "Falling Away from Me" being my #1 favorite song of all time. So yeah, I've been loving me some KoRn since I was a teen.
Also, I've seen them in concert once, unfortunately. It was Return of the Dreads in St Louis. In This Moment opened, then KoRn played, and it ended with Rob Zombie. During Rob's part, people were throwing around an inflatable alien with a dildo attached to it. One guy took it and ran off. LOL Good times. Good times.
I posted some of these on my channel aswell, sick show last night
dude why is everyone better than ray at playing korn songs?
Couldn't have said it better.
Also cool thing about Korn is their set list is always different from what I’ve seen they play different songs they didn’t play these two in del Valle they played trash and dirty I wanna see them again
I completely missed it, got there too late, i was thinking russian circles would take longer… im so mad at myself
your loss Russian Circles are fucking amazing.
That's why you always gotta be there from the beginning
I was a bit upset because I missed Fire From The Gods
Why head doesn't play his parts in thoughtess?
I won tickets to the show but I never went 😢
I went to the one in Houston and they did not play all these cool songs
They change the set list according to where they play, when they go to Europe they okay all Thier heavy ass songs
SINGER IS ABOUT TO BECOME ROB HALFORD OF THE 2000s ...
Rob Halford is actually a big fan of this band.
It's cool to see the touring bassist doesn't pretend slap the bass riffs. Like the one on 5:00.
Who's on the drums?
Aric from Fever333
Head should be handling the Background vocal duties.
absolutely, i was a little disapointed when he didn't screamed "gonna break you down" in the thoughtless
Wasn’t a big fan of Korn, after the show I was intrigued. They did great
You're learning. 👍
Silveria? Parece que te perdiste un buen rato.
Nice. They're playing a bit faster with the temporary drummer. More up-tempo is better
Ray Luzier is a butcher.
it’s shame this drummer has groove like david did and plays the songs better than ray
@@williamsantiago9284 bro.....I know, iv been noticing this
@@miaoFoodNow Dave is gone and never coming back. Get over it.
@@RockyMountainHiThere it doesn't remove the fact that silveria was a better fit
Who’s in the drums this time?
Why were Fieldy and Ray not here? I remember reading Fieldy was asked to step out for a while due to personal stuff. Was this it?
Still, wheretf is Ray?
He had C0vid.
Jonathan and Brian are so freaking hot
5:38
Fieldy on Bass??
Nope. It's the bassist from Suicidal Tendencies! Fieldy is taking a break because he is focusing on sobriety
No, it's Ra Diaz

@@TheBananasongs wtf is tks
This drummer is much better than Ray Luzier
Overall, I agree. This dude is legitimately my favorite drummer of all time. Look up his work with his band Night Verses and his 40 minute drum solo, all killer stuff.
Having said that, Ray is also up there in terms of favorite drummers, a few drummers below Aric (this temporary drummer) on my personal list of favorites. But, while Ray's energy matches Korn more, I think Aric actually did a lot better for Korn than Ray (even though I do love Ray with Korn). He's got the groove, the precision, but also plays just the right amount (I admit Ray can tend to overplay sometime on older songs).
@@DuffyLONER64 Groove is what Ray is lacking.
Lack of spirit unfortunately
I agree. It doesn't feel as energetic - I can only assume its due to their age
@@PicarielloProductions Totally different rhythm section.
