I really like the system. From my experience I would add a door breaching tool, fire extinguisher, tool box, med kit, Slim Jim, and bolt cutters. All of these I’ve needed for emergencies on the road.
I might need to add door breach tool and bolt cutters… good call.
Just saw this video. Thanks brother, going to try and look for some for my 2020 AT4.
Same 2021 AT4. I am also researching tonneau covers and hoping he has a vid on that tent. Definitely adding these mods.
is yours a carbonpro? how did it go?
Good looking setup.
Man great video u always post good stuff didn’t even know these existed lol I’m getting these for my truck for sure I’m gonna look into the third one maybe my air compressor could go there since it comes in it’s own case nice and my tire repair kit! Thanks again! 👍🏼👍🏼
I was thinking of mounting my compressor there too, I just need to research a good way to send the power wires up to the battery. 🤔
That’s a sick shovel
Right? That thing is pretty bad ass
@@halohalohikers3571 no need for a pic be careful with your toes
I believe the nut washer would just fall out the bottom of the truck. Not 100% for the Silverado sure but it definitely would on my Chevy Colorado.
Really appreciate your content! I’m wanting to get in to overlandig for 2022! If you went with a tonneau cover that had the roll up on the exterior, would the extra shelf then fit? Didn’t know if it rolled up on top if it messes with your bed rack or created enough space for the extra interior bed side shelf.
So these are going for about $380 a side? each? or is that for the complete set? These are awesome but the price is wow!
Any recommendations if you have a bed liner already installed?
I have the same truck but PUTCO website says doesn’t fit. What model number were those panels? Great video!!
Can you attach a rotopax mount to Putco molles? Im struggling with the compatibility
Is this set up strong enough to hold a hi-lift jack?
OK, I checked their site and "yes" but oh my, the price!
Yea it will hold a high lift for sure. It’s extremely heavy duty!
Was thinking same. I have a 20,000 ton bottle jack. Surprisingly not crazy heavy, but a beast!!!!
New Subscriber loving the videos.
Want to ask is the trail boss good for overlanding?
It has worked great for me! People overland in all different vehicles, the important thing is to get out there.
Can you still use undercover swing out toolbox with the tacticool putzco panels?
How about a power tank or 4x4 jack?
I haven’t used C02 for airing up yet, but this would be a great spot for a power tank. Power tank sells a diagonal mounting plate so you can fit the tank in at the right angle without having to remove it when in use. 👍🏽
I have the built right industry panels in my truck and I attached a power tank to it. I have had zero issues. On the power tank website just look for the package that has the truck mounting stuff in it.
@@aaroncontreras3658 very cool! #goals
Can you install these under a BakFlip Tonneau cover? (Or any kind of normal tonneau cover) Like is there any kind of limitation to where you can install these?
The molle panels stop before the stake pockets where most tonneau attach so it should work with most covers. Best bet would be to call Putco and double check with your specific cover, they have great customer service and always a live person answers their phone.
Any suggestions/tips on how to install if the bed has been sprayed with Line X? (Spray on bed liner)
Also any issues with the rack covering tie down points? I have a 2020 Trail Boss as well.
I’m not sure about if it’s sprayed, you could check if you can get access to the three holes or not and you should be fine. This rack does not cover the tie down points. Actually you could use the molle as additional tie down points!
@@halohalohikers3571 I definitely wouldn’t use the aluminum panel to ratchet down to and use as a tie down there doesn’t look to be any support on the tops and bottoms of the panels.
Do you have a direct link to get the same panels. I also have a 2020 trail boss
Any recommendations on seat storage? I purchased a trail boss to use for camping and recently purchased storage for underneath the back seat but I’m looking for something to maybe hang over the driver and passenger seats.
Do a bit of research before putting on seat covers or straps on the driver and passenger seat. I think there is air bags in them and if they were to be restricted by something it could be dangerous. I've seen some cool seat cover/molle storage for the but I decided to not cover the seats at all for that reason.
What model cover is that
Will the water port be able to mount on that system?
Yes! That would be perfect location for the water port.
is your truck stock height?
I have 6” of lift on 35’s.
Do yourself a favor and ditch those garbage Quick Fist mounts for Kolpin Rhino Grip Flex mounts.
Glad you didn’t get those pretty little hands dirty.
