Get a DeWalt propane heater, probably made by Mr Buddy and it uses the DeWalt 20v batteries to power a fan and lighted handle as well as it has usb outlets to charge devices.
Not sure who jerry is but CADAC developed the Skottel (grill) Braai 40+ years ago. Which originated from South African farmers using a plough shear over a fire to cook an outdoor meal.
Seen this one before but had to see it again for inspiration. Hey, I thought I saw you pull out a light weight folding table in one of your videos. What was that? I have a Tacoma and am trying to consolidate stuff but also want to start camping outside of partks that have tables. Any recommendations?
Great video. Can you tell me about that bed rack you’re using. I’m looking to replace mine because once I added a RTT I lost all rear vision. It totally bocks my view. Does yours give you some sight out your rear window?
Why a tacoma? not a 4runner with more space for gear and allows a bigger ikamper on the roof? More off-road worthy with better departure angle and shorter wheel base. I'm curious.
No reports of deaths from using a Mr heater. It has a oxygen sensor that shuts it off it detects low oxygen levels. I usually turn it on while awake, let the tent get hot and cozy then shut it off to be safe. It works perfect
Just discovered your channel and I've learned a lot and found lots of gear for my wishlist. I've been fortunate enough to find a job that will allow me to buy the Tacoma I've wanted forever. Thanks for the great info!
Amazing video, I like proven methods. And it's great for me to see that I am doing everything right with my first built, since I'm pretty much having everything you said apart from the heater buddy (that's how I found your video), and the table on the spare tire (no space).
I just came across your channel for the first time. I like your set up! This is a good vid. I also appreciate the kind words at the end. It’s a great mentality to have in these crazy times. We all need to look out for each other out here. Stay safe out there brother!
Great video. I watch a lot of outdoor UA-cam’s and I gotta say they all seem to have the same things or say the same thing. This video had new products I hadn’t seen before so it earned a SUB from me 👌🍻 keep up the great work
Rooftop tents are actually colder than ground tents. The cold nighttime air and wind are the largest cooling factors. The rooftop tents are cooled from underneath in addition to normal cooling that affects ground tents.
Keep it all on board unless you won't be doing heavy 4x4 stuff. Trailers are problematic if you like to mob, but awesome if you take it a bit easier but just want to travel, but still have the ability to 4x4 if need be, but not excessively.
I know You said that buddy heater has some automatic shut down protection - but the open flame on the b-roll just does not inspire confidence. I mean sleeping in a very small full of flamable materials compartment with an open flame witch also means there is a risk of C0 poisoning ? What am i missing here? I would like to know because i would gladly buy one insted of spending a whole lot of money on a Webasto kind of system :) EDIT - after some further reading, it seems Carbon monoxide levels that this thing produces are not hight (theoretically acceptable) but dangerous over long time exposure is seems.
If you use a buddy heater in an enclosed space then you need to have a battery powered carbon monoxide alarm, as they DO fail. We just had a dad, his teenage daughter and their dog that died because they were using a faulty/old one in their 5th wheel and they got snuffed out while they slept.
You prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Micah Jameson thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Very functional rig, love to see it man. Do a vid on your dometic setup? & does it remain hardwired when you have it in the van versus in the bed on the mount
GREAT Video Brother. One thing I added recently to my rig was a small magnetic level for when I park and set up. Maybe it’s a bit too anal, but there is nothing better than a flat surface when you are setting something down in the back of your rig or on your tailgate. Nothing worse than when and it rolls or spills. I picked mine up at Home Depot for less than $5.
Shoutout to the camping nipsey hustle ;)
RIP Nip TMC
Where did you get Fold up chairs
Get a DeWalt propane heater, probably made by Mr Buddy and it uses the DeWalt 20v batteries to power a fan and lighted handle as well as it has usb outlets to charge devices.
I’m in Palms Springs where’s a good place to get frame sliders for my LB?
Thank you for posting a list in the description. Subbed because that makes sense, and you aren't wasting anyone's time.
Where did you get the utensil holder? And link for fold down table doesn't work.
Not sure who jerry is but CADAC developed the Skottel (grill) Braai 40+ years ago. Which originated from South African farmers using a plough shear over a fire to cook an outdoor meal.
Trying to decide between a dometic 35l or 45l. Have you ever wished you got a boggled size? I typically go out for like 2-4 days.
another great video George ....... thank you very much !!!!
Those chairs look awesome!!!
When you were talking about the plastic tailgate board you showed a little mini grill with the pan where can i get a small one like that
Very helpful detailed information. Thank you
I carry a shepard staff too. Its grear for a short hike, i never have to crawl around the back of my Tacoma...just drag stuff out!
A buddy of mine grabbed a large stand up propane heater lamp tower for 125! It's especially good in replacing bonfires in no burn areas
So impressed about the top box of your truck. Do you mind sharing the link? Thanks a lot.
Great set up bro. Have almost the same set up on my tundra lol.
How is the fridge working out in the bed of the truck regarding rain, dust, security, etc...?
I enjoyed the video.
Can I know what brand chair it is?
Good set up and good information for a guy like me brand new to the hobby
Tks
Link for the other water jug in the back?
Seen this one before but had to see it again for inspiration. Hey, I thought I saw you pull out a light weight folding table in one of your videos. What was that? I have a Tacoma and am trying to consolidate stuff but also want to start camping outside of partks that have tables. Any recommendations?
what is the hose you have for the waterport? I have the hose from waterport, which I don't like. it is a bit short.
For the dometic. What do you use to keep it off while being the vehicle off? What about being off for maybe 1-2 days. How do you go about that.
I like it your fork and spoon organizer what is it?
Look it up on www.bustabeatgeorge.com “ utensil kit “
Very nice setup. Do you have a video showing how you hooked up Dometic to your truck?
Great video. Can you tell me about that bed rack you’re using. I’m looking to replace mine because once I added a RTT I lost all rear vision. It totally bocks my view. Does yours give you some sight out your rear window?
Whats the name of the chairs. thanks for doing this
What’s the latch you have on your front runner table?
how does the fridge not drain all the battery if it's on all the time? how long can it stay on for?
Just getting started...what's a good 4×4 store in Portland area to setup my Tacoma
Good video. How difficult was the wiring for the fridge you talked about? And does it use a separate battery?
What bed rack are you running in this video?
Can you use that grill on an open flame fire, a campfire? Thank you for putting such a great video on UA-cam...
I have a buddy heater and love it. I just got a water port. They are awesome
Hey jon! That buddy heater works magic
Camping in our family
I will always support you from the side. Your channel is wonderful. I will go to play often
How do you keep things locked up in your truck when you have to leave it alone?
Why a tacoma? not a 4runner with more space for gear and allows a bigger ikamper on the roof? More off-road worthy with better departure angle and shorter wheel base. I'm curious.
Does the heater give off CO2? I can see people putting it in their tent and getting killed.
No reports of deaths from using a Mr heater. It has a oxygen sensor that shuts it off it detects low oxygen levels. I usually turn it on while awake, let the tent get hot and cozy then shut it off to be safe. It works perfect
CO is the combustion byproduct that is harmful.
What was your swing out called?
love the skottle grill
How do you do hardwire that keeps fridge runs all the time?
Just discovered your channel and I've learned a lot and found lots of gear for my wishlist. I've been fortunate enough to find a job that will allow me to buy the Tacoma I've wanted forever. Thanks for the great info!
Nice to see you using great South African products. Soktel, Frontrunner 👍
Amazing video, I like proven methods. And it's great for me to see that I am doing everything right with my first built, since I'm pretty much having everything you said apart from the heater buddy (that's how I found your video), and the table on the spare tire (no space).
Bro, you look exactly like Nipsey Hussle haha, I can't unsee it now. He lives on.... just in the hills!
Got the same heater bro, haven’t used it yet though, how long does one propane tank last on it?
George, great detail on all the equptment you use! . Thank you for doing some outstanding cooking on our Skottle Grill!!!
Thanks Jerry! You’re awesome
I just came across your channel for the first time. I like your set up! This is a good vid. I also appreciate the kind words at the end. It’s a great mentality to have in these crazy times. We all need to look out for each other out here. Stay safe out there brother!
Thanks for stopping by and subscribing brother! I hope you’re doing well!
Next..... showing us what and how you cook on that Skottle Grill! Shows us some easy recipes and how to prepare those meals!
I’ll be posting a video like that this week. Thanks for tuning and and subscribing 🙏🏻
@@bustabeatgeorge and how you clean it. Wouldnt it rust after a while?
Great video. I watch a lot of outdoor UA-cam’s and I gotta say they all seem to have the same things or say the same thing. This video had new products I hadn’t seen before so it earned a SUB from me 👌🍻 keep up the great work

Can you please tell me where can l buy this foldable chair. What is the web site and brand name? Thank you
How do you know where is a legal spot to overland at?
Awesome video and info!
You could easily weld some horseshoes or or curvedl rods for handles for the grill. It would give you something to hold it by
How long does that taclife power unit last with your fridge plugged in
Thanks for watching and subscribing. 19 hours
You could also run a bigger propane tank with adapter for the line...
Great video! Enjoying your channel. I'm debating on building my rig (17 Tundra) or getting overload trailer. Keep up the good work and stay safe bro.
Keep it all on board unless you won't be doing heavy 4x4 stuff.
Trailers are problematic if you like to mob, but awesome if you take it a bit easier but just want to travel, but still have the ability to 4x4 if need be, but not excessively.
Great video, bro! Just curious. What's your MPG like? Thanks!
That skottle grill is bad ass man were can I pick up one of these??
Do you live in Torrance CA?
All very quality stuff. Great info. Makes you think outside the box. The excessive hand slapping was a bit much for me tho.
LLOD slaps the bed cover, and he slaps his hands. Industry standards 🤣

Nice setup with some amazing outfitters. Quality brands. Very impressive when ya know what your looking at.! 10

Sweet, I can't wait!
Awesome info thank you! I’m making the switch from backpacking to overlanding, and this info was super useful :)
You prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost my login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Rylan Decker Instablaster =)
@Micah Jameson thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now.

What’s the name of your stove ??
Nice setup! Like it all. Never knew some of this stuff existed.
Very functional rig, love to see it man. Do a vid on your dometic setup? & does it remain hardwired when you have it in the van versus in the bed on the mount
