Perfect video for my current concern! I am just starting to learn about welding and don’t have a cart or table yet. While a really cheap cart might work for my one MIG machine now, I hope to be able to add additional “weapons” to my arsenal as my experience and needs grow. Being able to modify the HF cart to accept 2 bottles was my major interest, but your other modifications help me see the possibilities for starting with a “good” cart and making it much better! I am originally from Oklahoma, but wear Crimson and Cream rather than orange. Keep making videos and I’ll try to ignore the fact that you just happen to be wearing the wrong color! Thanks again for a great job!

Hey I am so glad I found your channel. I am a recent welding student graduate and I have 2 welding machines. I need a cart for my new Everlast 255EXT that my husband just got me for Christmas. I was going to take an approach that was very similar to yours but I really didn't know how to approach it since I am still learning. Thank you for the excellent video and I hope you will make more. I instantly subscribed to your channel. It is always fun to find a new welder to watch! Keep up the good work and Happy New Year!

HF version of that cart - front casters needed to be replaced once I put my Miller on top. I do need to replace the rear wheels next - but they hare handling the 80/40 tanks I have on the back now.

Great job! Too bad HF doesn’t sell your version of cart, I’d pay an extra $200 to get your version.

Rule one of welding carts, male sure all cables an whips, have no where good to hang on the cart, ensure that all cables an plug ins dangle at all times, extra points for ensuring that the cables are constantly under the wheels no matter what you do.

Really bothered by the end of angle you welded to the front to hold the welder. You could have folded the angle and closed the ends off to remove the sharp corners. Great project using common tools and not crazy expensive tools most of us don’t have .. thank you

Noisey machine, weld a washer for a guide on the inside of the wheel, I’d have drilled a hole through the axle for a cotter key, 80 will be cheaper in the long run,
