    koollll cart there Randy, they have some fairly reasonable prices on their stuff in the website. nice to see something made in the USA on the market and even made in california where they have been doing their level best to run business out of the state. i'd add some lift eyes so you can hoist the thing into the bed of a pickup with the bucket of the tractor in case you had go mobile with the setup

    I would've done a single mod to this, and i think ZT Fab, should consider it. One of the two "legs" of the welder seat, should be adjustable. So, a length of material should be added and welded to help keep the structure kosher, and then to the chosen free floating leg, a clamp, nutsert(s) and knob should be added. That way, you can possibly have multiple welders depending on your needs.

    • @RRINTHESHOP
      @RRINTHESHOP  5 років тому

      Both of my welders were withing 1/4" so it was not a problem. An adjust feature would be nice. Thanks aserta.

    Nice cart. Did you manage to get it together in one day?
    You must hate it when editing the shots to find the footage all out of focus. From my perspective, I'd probably cut it and skip it. I find it hard to watch and usually fast forward through those spots. I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same way or if people would rather have those shots even if out of focus. I'm sure it's a tough decision for you and I appreciate your videos regardless.

    I'd love to say I watch to learn, but in honesty for me it's fantasy fab or machining porn. The only tools we seem to have in common is a screwdriver and a hot glue gun. My main vice requires a meter and a soldering Iron and the majority of my projects would easily fit on the head of a bolt ... Still, I can't resist the thought of a Tig or a Mig and I can only dream of owning a lathe.

    Very nice kits but they do cost $500! I can get a cheap but functional cart for $70 locally already assembled....actually designing one yourself would be just as fun and way cheaper!

      @RRINTHESHOP  5 років тому

      Thanks bmlennox.

    • @barrygerbracht5077
      @barrygerbracht5077 5 років тому +1

      I thought they were fairly expensive too until I built mine. They don't make one that fits a mig, tig and water cooler, so I designed and built my own. It ended up costing close to $700 CDN. I had one of those $70 carts. They are good to get you going right when you get your first welder, but they are flimsy as heck.
      If you have access to an inexpensive supply of steel and can cut and fit all your own parts then you can build your own cart for less money. I figured the ZT fab cart would have cost me over $1000 CDN to get shipped to Canada, so my cart was still significantly cheaper. If you just bought a welder and don't have the capability of cutting fitting, bending and fabricating your own stuff, then this cart looks like an excellent option for people who want a high quality cart. Open the box and start assembling.

    • @RRINTHESHOP
      @RRINTHESHOP  5 років тому

      @@barrygerbracht5077 Yep, the fit is perfect, no adjustments, hold together and weld. I could mig weld the entire cart in one day probably about 3-4 hrs. And paint.
