- We are ice fishing for sunfish, bluegill, and pumpkinseed today. There are three of us today and we're all trying something different to catch these panfish: Ivo is using the new Eye Drops on a two-hook setup, Phil is using one Eye Drop and a Stingnose, and Antonio is using a single Stingnose.

I went out first time ever last weekend. No bites but it was still fun...summer fishing with the the boat is 100x better in my opinion....for those that catch fish in winter I’m sure it’s a blast though.

Wow, haven't seen anyone fish without electronics in quite a while. Old school!
I've found as well to make sure there's enough separation between the split shot and the hook. When I fish watching a camera, it's amazing how the fish are attracted to the split shot, many times more than any lure I'm using. I also found to make sure there's enough of the barb part of the hook exposed, otherwise the fish won't stay on. I had to hook a little less of the eye drop to leave more hook exposed. On another note, the perch were on fire at Chautauqua yesterday using the chartreuse eye drop. First time using them, pretty cool. Have you ever fished Chautauqua?

Bluegill fish pattie cakes... ?
I think it's a good way to make something really awesome that others will soon realize as the best way to cook up bluegills or it could be a total failure but I know it can't be a failure of an idea 💡
I shouldn't tell others to do everything but I can't get my lazy butt up to go bluegill fishing nor would I be able to cook up a fish Patty as good as you would lol
