I just took my first plunge into Royale Filmwear & purchased the Quantum Bolivia Harrington. This is definitely on the list to get as well - but I think I will get the Spectre Solden Jacket next as winter is fast approaching in Australia.

Yeah very true, Its a lot of money for a jacket, but this is a niche piece, & compared to some of the high end branded items its reasonably priced. That said it's still too pricey for me. 🍸
I guess for Bond it's frugal. But at the end of the day it's just a reminder we're all too broke to be Bond. Haha
Nine years ago, the original was $798. With inflation over the years, I would guess it would be more than that today, if it was still available. The Royale Filmwear jacket is less than half the original price. That type of quality leather jacket doesn’t come cheap.
It really depends on how accurate you want the jacket to be my friend. I have seen cheaper copies but the quality is not really there or details are missing like the stitching, on one version I tried on the suede was quite rigid and I ended up with 90 degree shoulders which looked awful! 😂 😂
Pick and choose the pieces you’ll use most and save your pennies. I have clothing items that cost many times the cost of the well-executed and competitively priced jacket shown in this video! If you don't have the budget for Bond, you can always buy the sartorial pieces that Q wears.
Spectre was a great theater experience. It was almost back to a classic formula. Lots of haters on this movie but I love it!

I liked Spectre , better than Skyfall, but second to Casino Royale. Watching a slightly creepy wanna be looky likey Daniel Craig Bond, is slightly nauseating
The car chase scene has to be one of the worst in history or cinema

Not to be negative, it’s a beautiful jacket. Seems a few inches too long in both sizes. The jacket in the movie looked like it hit barely below the belt line.
Whoa 6:25 never ever been interested in this jacket before in any version,but seeing it as a real world piece it's beautiful,and strange how I've never seen this jacket as something I could wear and totally make my own until now.

Thanks for the video. I’m really interested in this jacket. Knowing the quality of materials used and time it’s taken Royale to get to this stage the price in my view is ok. Yes it’s on the higher end but it all depends on how accurate you want it to be. I’ve seen similar jackets by well known brands for £800+ here in the UK so to me this is a bargain. I have seen cheaper versions online but the suede is usually poorer quality, they don’t have the baseball stitching, no lining, etc. so I’d happily pay the extra as I also know Royale put a huge amount of effort into their pieces being spot on and high quality. I wear my Billy Reid replica quite a bit. Maybe sometime in the future they may make a cotton version of this jacket which would be roughly half the price I think.

I think he should get a size small. When you compare it with his original John Varvatos jacket that he rewieved on this channel there is a noticeable difference in fit, especially in length

I have the JV (after buying and selling one several times over the years), but I could see getting the Royale version and having the sleeve zippers removed to make the Mission Impossible: Fallout jacket. While My chest size matches yours, my height, waist, hips, and long arms require a size large.
David, A Very nice jacket and made to a high standard. I hear what you say that its not a cosplay item... but it is squarely aimed at Bond fans & to a certain extent those who want dress like their movie icons. Not entirely frugal more mid range frugal and a sensible choice for wishing to buy one. 🍸

I did enjoy the movie, it seemed like Thunderball for Daniel Craig.

I’m not David but I do have this jacket. It is an unusual color. I think it looks like charcoal in person, but I have to admit sometimes I think it is charcoal with slightly blue undertones. It is beautiful in person to look at and to touch.
That jacket may be the only element of Spectre I enjoyed.

I bought one of them from TaoBao. Unfortunately it didn't fit me so I returned it for refund.
It's almost like a leather shirt.
