As an Italian, I can say we’re all immensely proud to have this talent taking over the world - but man, Cory Wong absolutely gave him a clinic here on rhythm guitar playing 😆 best thing I’ve heard in weeks! Happy this got filmed!!
Matteo Mancuso is special. The hype is real. His technique is unique, clean and exciting, but well beyond that his playing is always so melodic and tasteful. It'll give him a broader appeal in a very good way, and no pressure but it feels like we're all just waiting for a record with a new classic signature piece to appear at some point.
Cory's playing is so dangerous they made him wear hi viz pants. Meanwhile Matteo is oblivious to any health and safety concerns ... because he's an alien😁

I haven't carefully checked this but if you are right it seems like Corey realized it was similar to "I just want you to Stay" so he just played that.
