RULES: 14:28 - As part of the mission Rules it does state that stunned models can't seize markers. Doesn't impact the score at all in this game but good to note for your games.
Thank you for the video! Few friendly notes: 7:55 Objectives are seized in 3, not 2 inches 8:52 Units must be at least 1 inch from another units, even friendly 14:33 Stunned model do not seize objectives (Mission paragraph in the Preparation section of the Core Rules) Please do more OPR :)
Loving the Grim Dark Future Batreps! Also love your top-down view and movement review at the end of the rounds - I've been searching for a channel that does this! Keep em' coming man!
Something that was missed in this video for deployment is that the ambush rule is not active turn 1, units with ambush or shadow if being used for ambush or shadow deploy turn 2, meaning the shadow warriors could theoretically not have been as meh as they were cause you can set up some pretty wicked flanks with them turn 2 once you know where your opponent is going
Probably the best Firefight reports out there. I would enjoy it even more if you gave the viewer a bit more of a pause between activations. Just one sec. As a newish player I really have to stay focused to not miss anything.
Yep, big fun for sure. Unless it’s just the models/teams you’re selecting, shooting seems pretty weak. Taking a big fat wait and see on 40k 10th. There’s going to be some major adjustments in the next 3 months for sure. Want to give Combat Patrol a go, but need to build and paint the ordinance battery to have a legal IG patrol. Ten Poxwalkers short for death Guard, so more work.
Something to keep in mind for the difference between 40k and OPR is that in OPR the idea of being caught in combat doesn't exist, models break up after engagements therefore if you are playing shoot heavy tau vs shoot heavy eternal empire you can render a tau army useless by engaging in melee with it and forcing them to fallback on repeat, where as the enteral empire would be able to advance backwards and still pop a shot back (Also dark elves are very much a melee army in OPR, the shoot heavy army seemed like a weird choice into the alien hive, especially the shadow warriors which did not use the ambush rule correctly)
What do you guys use for the over head camera? Trying to set one up and realizing there are a lot of factors in play (you have great resolution). Thanks for the BR! You guys are one of the best!
no the grunts are bought as 1 single unit, unlike say the private guard for inquisition that you buy as a group of 3 - there's a number to the right of the unit you're selecting and that tells you if there're multiples
@@GFNGaming Ah, so you have simply bought three separate ones, not a unit of three, ok then :) The magic number of three and their initial grouping was too suggestive for me :)
@@brzezbart6091 yeah you can't buy grunt in units just singles - to be fair i tihnk i'd prefer them in a unit - although less useful for objectives certainly got a better chance at landing some hits :D
We used a current Kill Team sized board so 30''-22'' but the recommended size is bigger, but I kind of prefer the ease of setup the smaller board is, I guess a better way to tackle the smaller board would be to more densely populated it with terrain 🤔
Do your best to not use the Warhammer names for the models as it gets confusing for newbies. Many times you used “gene stealers” but I can’t tell if they are the same as “soul-snatchers” or if they are two different models. Thank you.

Great BatRep, those shooter grunts were effing useless! :D
wooot woot
Where do I get the missioncards? It's such a cool game element😊
On their website follow it to the game you're playing and it's one of the downloads by their rules, missions cards 👍
@@GFNGaming thanks😊
