You do the best batreps by far. I love the animation and sound effects and arrows. It's amazing. Plus you can tell your generally having a good time with your buddy. I love the bleeping in between rolls. Feels authentic
One of the best videos on Age of Fantasy. I love the camera angles and all of the game info on the screen. So well thought out with the RP intro and gameplay. Please keep making these.
What a wonderfully entertaining battle report! I was on the edge of my seat (which was bad as I was listening whilst driving). Thank you for the laughs!
Thank you guys for the great report! One friendly note: Phalanx causes enemy to roll for dangerous terrain only if all models in the charged unit have this rule. Unit of warriors had two guys without spears: weapon teams, so phalanx would not work. Waiting for more videos :)
It's a great game system and can be as simple or as complex as you wish, depending on the extend of advanced / additonal rules you want to commit to a game. Very similar to OPR Grimdark Future. Even AoF Regiments plays quite interesting, mainly thanks to the alternating activation which adds a layer of tactics and strategy some way more popular, "commercial" games lack. Which brings me to the one big disadvantage of practically all the OPR rulesets : Finding other players / opponents. While it is to a certain degree possible to find at least some Grimdark Future ( 40k alternative ) players, it is for me almost impossible to find fellow AoF players, let alone AoF/Regiments. Although I know quite a few Age of Sigmar Players, who do often complain about the rather complex and everchanging ruleset, there are indeed practically none who even want to try AoF. This is very sad. And .. I live in the west of Germany in one of the densest populated regions of Europe. I wonder how people in the countryside would find other players. I used the OPR discord and the player map for Europe. But much to my dissapointment, most of the 130+ players listed do only Grimdark...So I am afraid I have to stick with what other players here in the region like if I want to play a game..and that's mainly either 40k, AoS and some great guys playing Warhammer CE ( Classic Edition = WHFB 6./7. Edition with some tweaks ). Well, anyways I wish you lot's of success with your channel.

Cheers! That's really great to hear! Yeah it's always a fun game
Top notch production quality. Would you mind telling me what software you use?
The Chalice thing seems awfully powerful.
Sorry, but the monks wiping the skeletons was HILARIOUS 😂😂😂
OMG...!!! What an awesome game u both had! The dice really were blessed by the gods of entertainment.

This is the second of your OPR batreps that I've watched and I'm loving your presentation. Subbed and looking forward to perusing your back catalogue.
Thanks for the sub, will have another game coming out today actually
16:40 I think you are required to cast spells before attacking so you did it right; the optimal option is illegal.
Oh nice! It only really occured to me in the edit, oh if id of shot first and managed to kill him no 5+ regen
That triple 1’s roll: it’s so much the “what are you doing here? Go home…”

Awesome Game really enjoyed that. And got me excited to build my Undead army
Cheers man! I really like the rules for them theyve got real staying power.
What an unbelievably awesome battle report. Thank you tons
Awesome stuff! Subscribed specifically to see more OPR Age of Fantasy stuff
Think we're going to go bigger points next time but yeah big fan of age of fantasy
That's what happens when you don't sacrifice to the dice gods!
YESSS!!! MOAR VAMPYR!!!
Absolutly great match, with a lot of terrible and awesome rolls 😂
Cheers for watching - yeah man some great and terrible rolls. I do love the no reroll thing aswell youve just got to wear those bad rolls :D
Very nice and well edited video! Keep up the good work, it was a very enjoyable match! :)
Cheers guys, thanks for watching
Live the outro animation with you as the gunner 😂
Cheers Daron! I drew a bunch of me as a spacemarine for the KTC merch so i figured I might aswell use them :D
Amazing game and even more amazing rolls! 😂😂😂
Cheers Nick! there were some amazing rolls and then obviously 6 consecutive 1's which....was......fun XD
Great fun and really well put together, where did you get the cobblestone battle mat? Ta
Cheers man, it's Adams I'll check where he got it and let you know, I think it's double sided though, thinks it's the forest and the cobblestones
@@GFNGaming Cheers, 'preciate ya
Dang I wanted to see some OPR minis...
I might look into a 3D printer - would be great to use their models for the bat reps
@@GFNGaming I just started printing 3 weeks ago. OPR definitely has made it easy to learn
absolutely cursed rolls
I'll take cursed dice rolls over endless re-roll stratagems any day
@@TheKsalad yep! one of my favorite things about OPR is the seeming lack of re-rolls. That rules so hard.
38:00 detaching a hero from a unit isn't really a thing in this game, is it?
We house rule it but as per normal rules not really
What size table do you use?
This was a 6x4 table - there a bunch of room like for a 1k game. Think next time we'll go 2k see how busy the board gets
would love to see bigger point size! 30 dudes vs 30 dudes is not as inspiring, at least for me personally.
Currently editing a 2k battle report as we speak 👍
@@GFNGaming nice
Rats!
❤️❤️❤️
One Page Rules?! HERESY!!!
SEND FOR AN INQUISITOR!
silcence you coward, opr is amazing and blessed by the light of the manperor of mankind
