- Have you ever wondered what would happen if you killed the synth-turned-raider that Father sends you to retrieve back to the Institute in Fallout 4? I decided to test this. I went to Libertalia and eliminated all the raiders. When I reached the highest level of the fortress, where the synth was waiting, I attempted to kill him with a firearm, but the ongoing dialogue interfered. So, I resorted to using grenades. Here's what happened.

in my current first playthrough w/ railroad, i tried doing that. the moment i shot the synth, x6 said the code, making the synth invincible

He says "alone" as if he's angry and would have teleported the player with him otherwise
No, he says 'alone' because if you do the mission right, he teleports with the synth.
'Alone' means he wasn't able to secure the package.
The real question is what happens if you kill him before getting the quest
It will be a different named raider, that specific character only spawns when the quest is active
Or kill him before you join the Institute?
Nothing I’ve cleared that spot like 5 times and never even been to the institute
he doesnt appear apparently
Before that quest Libertalia is led by a former Minuteman named Wire
I like when you shut the synth down and his raider buddies start freaking out asking him what’s wrong and what you did to him 😂
There’s a similar mission where you have to retrieve like 4 or 5 synths from the railroad. When I first did it I accidentally killed them because I thought they were just enemies and the courser warned me for the first two to stop and then by the time I had killed the third one he got hostile and started shooting me.
Courser: you gonna have to explain this to father
Sole Survivor: I am the FATHER of the father

I accidentally sniped him at the beginning of the mission and had to reload my save on my initial play through years ago lmfao
For the next person that thinks you can kill him at any point at any time before that mission where hes spawned in, you can't. Many of us have tried, and he only spawns for that mission
Did you ever explain to Father what you did?
Instead of aiming normally, you can use VATS to kill him without the dialog interfering.

@@ParodyKnaveBobPeople who get absolutely sick and tired of watching the slow motion cinematic views. FO4 gun play was so much better than the others, because it didn’t require you to use vats like the other games did. Although end game New Vegas had amazing guns that didn’t require vats either which is way more fun than what is basically aim bot for a friggen single player game. 🤣

You can't, he only spawn by that mission

They took almost all of the RP out of the G, I enjoyed 4 but really wish they tried harder to make it a Fallout game

When I shot the synth he just shut down as if I sed the code when I didn't and the courser teleported back with him

You could’ve answered the question in this short in 30 seconds and had enough time for 30 more seconds of the hamster dance
I killed them all, way before this mission. The ex minute man had to die for disgracing the cause.

He’s not there. Before you get to the Institute there’s a former Minuteman named Wire instead

they'll still attack you because you're the overboss of Nuka World's raiders, which are different from the raiders in the combat zone

5:01 Man, all the belly aching can easily be solved if you just watched The Road Warrior. I personally love Mad Max, but The Road Warrior has the best chase hands down. Fury Road didn't even touch it for me. Fury Road annoyed me with the stop and go. Instead of an introduction and build-up, we gotta hit the road right away. It's in the name. Cause it's not Max's road anymore.
