- Small upgrade to the Redcat Ascent Fusion. New Treal beadlock wheels, Injora Silicone Inserts, and JConcepts Tusk Performance Green Compound. Also, I don't normally do this but there is a how to on mounting beadlock tires.

When I done my wheels and tires I used a medicine bottle with a cap roughly the same size as the wheel or the inside of the wheel and sat the wheel and tire on top to keep bottom of tire from pushing up and popping the bead out the wheel....helped a ton

Although I still use the stock wheels on all my RC vehicles, I did enjoy watching this video. Always useful to have seen it once before I ever do this myself. Very nice beadlocks and tires. A lot of screwing, but then you have cool beadlocks under the RC. 👍 Greetings Jos 👋🍀

Nice upgrade, Tusks are excellent. Added some good weight with those inserts and wheels as well. How have I not bought this rig yet?!

Is the stance wider with the Treal wheels vs the stock wheels? I tried a set of injora's on mine with no offset and the wheel hubs were a bit thicker and more offset than the stock wheels causing the wheels/tires to be wider and past the body at the doors... I didn't like the look of it at all. I don't think the wider stance would hurt performance but it does leave the caster blocks more exposed to rocks and wear and tear.
It did widen it a bit, maybe by couple millimeters
