Hi everyone
Today we are going to be upgrading the rims and tires on the Traxxas TRX4M high Trail
Going to be installing a set of brass rims from Injora and a set of there awesome Swamp stomper 63mm by 24mm tires.
Then I’ll be taking it out on the backyard, course to give it a good test.
I was already so impressed last time I took it out The performance gains were huge, and I can imagine with the new tires and rims it’s gonna do even better.

Will these tires fit the bronco?
Hello,
Very nice video, nice off-road run have a nice day!👍
Greetings Seven🖖
Hello Seven 👋👋👋
Thank you so much my friend, I hope you have an amazing day too.
Greetings Ryan 🖖
Yeah they look great
Thanks bro I really appreciate all the support!
So cool, nice driving and it sure looks good doing it,
Andre I really like the way this rig is turned out it performs really well especially considering I tried to keep a realistic look.
Still got lots of aesthetic upgrades I want to do to the truck.
Hopefully soon I will get back to work on it.
I can see you really do like what you been watching cuz you have left a lot of comments and I really appreciate it.
Thank you
💪🏻🐼👍🏻 Hi my Dear Friend! Once more time you share whit us a awesome Footage and Tutorial for us all can learn and know what the best up-grades we can use!!!
Thks my Friend!
Hello Antonio, and thank you 🤜🤛
I really appreciate your support my friend 👊😉
It's a real beast I would love to take it to a 1/18 scale event!
Like always my friend thank you so much for watching and commenting ✌️☺️
You are Welcome my Friend! 1/18 is a scale that don't see to grow here in Portugal!!! Courses 1/24 we have a lot and events to but for the 1/18😢
Hi great video, nice to see the little guys giving you a hand this time, they have been getting rather lazy. Well done
Hi Julian 👋👋
Yeah man they definitely have been very lazy!! 😅🤣
I'm glad you liked it I just thought it's something different 🤪
I really appreciate you watching and you're awesome comment.
🤜💥🤛
Have a good Sunday brother 🌞
Big fan of my Injora Brass beadlocks
Definitely bro me too!!
👊😁
Dude, I finally installed the +4mm axles on my Bronco, have to say...they don't look half bad! 🤔
Hi bro 👋 that's awesome bro!! And besides them looking amazing the performance gains are huge, all the way from the steering angles to just the overall smoothness on the drivetrain!! Definitely an awesome product from Injora 💯💯💯
@@rcfungames oh, most definitely!
The truck seems to be planted , stable . I have the 64mm swamp claw and I’m still waiting for the same rims you have but mine are grey .
Hello Ryan 👋
It definitely is it is performing extremely well with the setup I have done so far.
I've definitely realized that adding too much brass hits the overall performance.
On my Defender and Bronco I went all bras and it actually made them perform worse.
I find upgrading everything to aluminum parts and then running some brass rims is a way better set up.
And these brass rims are awesome as they are not too heavy but heavy enough to keep it planted.
And these tires to me are definitely some of the best for grip from Injora.
I really appreciate you watching and commenting bro
Thank you 🤜🤛
The stop-motion was cool. I like how you go into detail about each upgrade. Which upgrade so far has made the most difference?
Thank you very much John, I really enjoy doing a bit of stop-motion, I think it's a lot of fun 😅
It is very difficult to say which upgrade has made the biggest difference, as fitting the gearbox with the 48-turn motor and reduction gears, was a huge difference, but fitting the axles with the servo was also a huge improvement, and even fitting the brass rims and tires made a huge difference.
What made the least difference was probably the high clearance links but then the angles on the drive shaft are so much better giving a much smoother drive.
So all in all I would say each upgrade has had its benefits.
But as you can see from the footage on the Last Run, there is nothing in my course it contact on which was quite surprising especially the double hill climb!
I really appreciate you watching bro and thank you for the awesome comment ✌️😉
I was wondering did you do a side by side of old new tyre comparison? It would be nice to able to read replies to other posts. They have same questions as I do.
I did not do a side by side comparison, but if you watch the previous videos, before putting the tires you will see how it performed compared to the new tires!
In the future I will try and do better comparisons when I change the tires.
I will soon also do a video tasting all the different treads to see which one actually hooks up the best on what to terrain.
Great video, like your videos, I've gotten alot of info on how to and parts that work good, was wondering what links you used on there, see you on the next video!!
Hi bro and thank you for the awesome comment!!
I really appreciate your feedback!
The links I used on the high Trail build is the stainless steel links from Injora, as they come with spacers so you can adjust your axle to get a better angle on your front drive shaft and a little bit more droop.
Hell yeah bro I'll see you on the next one! 🤜💥🤛
Thanks for the informative videos 👍 i was wondering if you vent your tires or not, and why?
Thanks, looking forward to the next episode.
Thank you bro really appreciate your awesome comment!
Some rims come vented already and others don't!
If you are going to be running a lot in water I don't recommend venting the tires as it will destroy the foams! But if you're building it just for rock crawling and you want maximum traction it is preferable to vent the tires.
Some people go as far as even cutting a hole in the tire!
I don't like that option as it is a weak point and your tire could tear.
I'd rather drill the ring inside the aluminum rim so that the air can escape and like that you've got no holes in your tire.
Most of my rigs I always vent the front tires and keep the back non-vented.
Especially on steep hill climbs it performs better overall.
As soon as I've got a bit of time I will make a video on this topic.
I really appreciate you watching and commenting bro.
Hope this helps anything else feel free to ask.
Sorry what’s the wheel size ,thanks for the info🎅🏻
No worries Rick, they are 63mm and the rim is 1.0
63mm does look good! But I have a specific build in my head of what I want to accomplish. What do you think the tallest tire that can fit on this (with minor body/bumper trimming)? I'm probably going to add 59mm shocks also.
With the 63 mm tires I have no issues with rubbing, I did trim the edges of the fender just by 1 mm to make them more rounded so the tire wouldn't catch.
Running the 59 mm shocks you will probably be able to fit a 64 mm tires, but I wouldn't go any further than that!
Are these tires vented? Do you vent your tires? I plan on getting these tires but i go through water so would i need to vent them?
They are supposed to be vented! But once you've installed the tires they actually seal 100%!!
So if you going to be running in water I wouldn't vent them or else your foams will get wet and degrade really quickly!
If you are going to vent them, and run them in water, I recommend the new silicone inserts!
I hope that helps bro
@@rcfungames I could run them for a while and if I notice the foam degrading I can always get the silicone inserts. Thank you for all of the info
Hey do you have a real in depth video of filling injora oil filled shocks I think I did mine wrong
Hi bro 👋
I do have a couple of videos up on the Bronco and Defender installing the shocks, and exactly how I set them up.
But my next upgrade on the high Trail is the 53 mm shocks
So I will make sure I will explain in detail how I set mine up and the different ways you can set it up depending on your style of crawling.
But if you'd like to watch one of the other videos that are already available just let me know and I will find it and share you a link.
I appreciate you watching my videos 😊
Thank you very much hope you have an amazing Sunday.
Thank you very much I'll definitely check out the other videos even just for the entertainment
Great video Ryan do you think them tires would work good on my tarantula build
Thank you so much bro 🤜🤛
I definitely think they would be awesome on your Tarantula build
I think I used a set on my green tarantula build! And it performs really well considering it's all stock parts and running brass rims with the swamp Stomper tires.
I have the same tires on my K10 and the tires are not in the center when the body is on so they rub when going over obstacles pretty bad
Well as you can tell by the footage I had absolutely no issues with rubbing! Maybe it's the extended 4mm axles
@@rcfungames I'm gonna put on high clarence links my leave out a few spacers they may help get the wheel centered I hope btw your channel is awesome 👍
@rcfungames will Theese fit the bronco?
Yes they will fit the Bronco but you are definitely going to have to trim the original bumpers or get some aftermarket bumpers.
@@rcfungames ohhhh ok thanks
I tried the STOCK tires on the Injora rims and they would not fit, could not put the bolts through, to short, not sure why
Yes the stock tires do not really want to fit on a lot of aftermarket rims! If you really want them to fit you going to have to trim a bit of the bead on the tire to be able to get them to lock.
But in my opinion you're better off just picking up a set of tires from Injora it's one of the best upgrades you can do.
I have a set of 58 mm injora already on ,a little smaller than stock
They are not really bead lock tires
You make great videos!!! Thank you!!
Hey, Are the stock Mickey Thompson worse than these injora?
Hi bro, sadly yes! I also really liked the original Mickey Thompson tires, but these do have much better grip!
But I definitely can't hit the original tires they perform really well!
@@rcfungames okay thank you 👍
Why does everyone skip the ring part in their videos?!?!
Sorry bro, I don't quite understand!
If there is anything I can help you with, please let me know?
I believe in my videos I cover every aspect of every part I install.
Bro if you check another video of mine it will have that piece it's only because recently I got a copyright claim on that section because of a song I was using and they just cut out that piece of the video.
I really am sorry for the inconvenience but every other video of me fitting the rims and tires you will see every stage of it.

Sorry about that and appreciate the response. I’m a noob trying to figure out what the little dowels/rods are that came with the wheels. Couldn’t even find instructions on injora site but your video was helpful to me. Working my way through your videos now.
@@johnrothermel4552 the little pins, go behind the Hex that the wheel sits on.
If you pull one off you'll see the pin behind it.
You don't need to replace them they are just there in case you lose one!
That's what I love about injora! They always provide extra hardware and bits that you didn't even need! But they always come in handy at some point.
Thank you so much I appreciate you watching the videos ✌️😉
Like I say if there's anything you need just drop a comment I'll try and reply as quick as possible.
