►Odin was rescued in October 2018 from a pair of breeders who had completely neglected to care for him and several other dogs. The poor dog had been chained up and ignored, and it showed. He was in absolutely horrendous condition when he was picked up by rescuers from Southern Pines Animal Shelter and Southern Cross Animal Rescue of Mississippi, and they knew they needed to get him to a vet and then into a loving foster home as quickly as possible.
When Odin’s then-foster mom, Sydney Schelkopf, saw him for the first time, she could hardly believe her eyes. He barely even looked like a dog

it's a fantastic transformation, he is so beautiful, the people who abused him will never be found and punished but at least he is safe and happy in his forever home.

this breaks my heart into a million pieces. The thought of what he went through as a puppy and then for years of abuse and neglect is horrifying! and this is currently happening to other dogs. i hope whoever did this to him gets jailed for life for this crime. why have an animal if you don't intend to love and care for it and be a responsible human being? sick

I am crying tears of joy for him. He is so beautiful. How can humans be so so cruel..animals are innocent creatures.They feel like you and me. Thank God he was rescued and his torment is now over.
