Nigel Farage thinks Corbyn’s apparent unpopularity is giving his side a real chance but British-Asian voters see things very differently. The polls open in less than 24 hours and things are getting tense.

Which 99%? He lost heavily in 2019. And almost destroyed the Labour party.

  • @Tworonnies1

Jeremy Corbyn has not been allowed to change the Labour party considerably. This is due to the right wing and anti-Corbyn wing of the party having control over the Parliamentary Labour Party. He is trying his best and people should listen to him and policy not the newspapers.

The Bennite Corbyn's got some decent policies but lacks patriotism which puts people off badly

Yep, even when Corbyn wins media still find something negative. Farage went around telling anyone who would listen that UKIP would win big and the whole thing was a vote on Corbyn's leadership, well if it was then it doesn't say much about Farage's leadership then.

+Levan Tsetskhladze 5:24 is a perfect illustration why so many people detest him.
He uses the fear generated by the Paris attacks to make a self serving political point about open door immigration.
The girl asks what he would do about it (Paris) and he says that he wouldn't have an open door policy to jihadi's.
Nobody is suggesting that we have an open door policy to jihadis. Not Corbyn, not Cameron , not anybody.

That would never happen, because those running the circus only allow choices like Miliband, Blair, Theresa May, Corbyn, Brown, Cameron... oh the never ending list of useless politicians we've had, and to think people randomly started pretending to like Corbyn, just to give the red party a chance, which still consists of the main corrupt names, abusers, extremists... Nigel Farage is WAY over qualified and a million miles too genuine to be directly involved in politics, and besides the hard work he's putting in exposing all the corruption happening behind closed doors is fantastic, pushing for a referendum so the people can have a vote is fantastic, we owe Nigel our lives to be fair, but would he ever get a chance to be part of the LibLabCon? No chance. Besides, he's never really wanted the position anyway. He can make much more of a difference being free and not being tainted by party sterotypes. The only time Nigel has ever had a bad name, was when people in UKIP had personal agenda. I know this for a fact because many years ago I campaigned for UKIP which led to them winning the 2015 European election. :) Then came plants, hatchet jobs, and of course, Cameron paying for his Facebook friends :) Nigel is a God send among all this ridiculous, modern, childish nonsense politics.

Old white racists don't like Corbyn? I'm blown away.
Also Guardian, what exactly is your deal? The rhetoric in the vast majority of your output has been blatantly anti-Corbyn. Even the host of this piece could barely contain himself from attaching any negativity in his surroundings, the attitudes of the people he interviewed, and his own general musings to Corbyn and Labour.
Guardian; you are doing a shithouse job of being impartial, get your act together.

Im a Jeremy Corbyn supporter, and am very surprised that Labour won with such a big majority. I am extremely pessimistic about Labours chances under Corbyn, because this country seems to be populated with people who think every piece of right wing propa ganda. Immigration is an important issue and does effect the working classes more, but its because the government do not make sure that workers pay does not get subsidised, and they do not invest in the poorest areas to improve infrastructure so it can absorb all the people. Labour probably wont win in 2020, this depresses me, because my generation have already suffered because of this Government and things will get worse.

Labour have already won. The Labour postal votes in the Muslim communities is extremely well organised. UKIP have won "on the day" in several by-elections and this will probably happen tomorrow but it won't be enough.
