Nivarias, did you know that you can get powerful cities by liberating a city, then capturing it. Whenever you liberate a city, it gets a random quarter, so you can get Commons Quarters and Research Quarters early in the game. Of course, the game isn't as polished as Civ 6, but that game has exploitable bugs, too.
Now you have horses from start...so..next era play with Huns (If your raid with horsemans you can multiply them with food) and evolve in Mongols.
