- In this episode of Mindful Mastery, we dive deep into the concept of the shadow, a term coined by Carl Jung, and discuss how to integrate these repressed aspects of ourselves. This important work can help alleviate negative self-image, increase confidence, and free up energy used to repress parts of our personality. The discussion includes valuable insights from Robert Bly's 'A Little Book on the Human Shadow' and a compelling example from the show 'Alone.' Techniques for integrating the shadow, recognizing repressed traits, and understanding the impact of these repressed aspects on mental health are also covered.

I stopped my washing machine for this video! 😊 Im glad i did!
Very nice very video, very helpful 😅😊
😊🙏🏼💜✨
So the longer you ignore the shadow, the louder it gets? Does the shadow ever cross over into our inner "monologue" voice? I'm wondering what effect fasting would have on shadow work? 🤔
Yes exactly, and in my experience the shadow does indeed cross over into the inner monologue voice. Shadow work can be an intense process. I imagine fasting might make shadow work more intense, or maybe being more presence. I imagine it would be different for everyone. 🤔
It's kinda part 2 of previous video?
Yes kind of 😌✨
@@VanessaOoms"It's great content, and thank you Vanessa, for introducing me to 'The Inner Shadow Work.' I didn't know about this before. Gonna learn and work on it. Love you! 💚✨🙏
Lots of love to you, my friend. Glad you enjoyed this video 🙏🏼💜✨
If I could only get my critical narc. mother's voice out of my head....🤔
Oof. I feel you on that.
This could actually turn into a whole book.
I hope it does! This is deep and needed!@@VanessaOoms
