But then came you, the Exile, a person who had lived through the horror, the pain, and loss and learned to live with it. You tell him he doesn't need to cling to his hate, to his rage. Sion and Nihilus were designed to show the ultimate futility of the Dark Side. They were so consumed with anger and primal hunger that they had no ability to imagine an endgame beyond pointlessly repeating their slaughter and were so enslaved by the Dark Side that neither could live without it anymore. LOL yeah and disney can't even create something such as "Darth Nox: A star wars story" or "Empire's Wrath: A Star Wars Story". The SWTOR storylines are basically better than all the movies combined.
The Expanded Universe had plenty of meh parts as well, Luke Skywalker basically becomes Jedi Deus Ex Machina with how many times he saves the day in the EU stories after Episode 6 and how he masters every Force technique the story needs him to in order to win. They also ship him with one person after another until the writers settle with Mara Jade.
Sion, according to some star Wars theories, was in constant pain and like it was said in the video, the force was the only thing holding his body together. The guy was already dead ffs, the only reason he didn't decompose into a skeleton was because he focused only on his pain and anger. Guy was literally 'local man too angry to die'. 😂
While he suffered possibly the greatest physical pain a dark lord ever has, the one to suffer the greatest psychological pain will always be Darth Vader...
You know why Disney made legends non-cannon right? If they wanted to keep all of that cannon theyd have to read ALL of the lore and make sure they dont go back on it. It makes sense why they made legends non-cannon and then slowly start reintroducing it so that they could get it right. (Which is ironic given they cant get the movies right)

The Sith Triumvirate are truly amazing in their own right. *Darth Sion,* Lord of pain who drew from his countless deaths and injuries only to become stronger, literally held together by the dark side of the force and his will to continue. *Darth Nihlus,* Lord of hunger who consumed the force and life energy of so many Jedi that it could be said he was no longer human and was a aspect of the force itself *Darth Traya,* Lord of betrayal she saw the force for what it really is, and unlike any other Sith Lord sought to destroy the force itself. Because how could anyone truly be free of the cyclical and sadistic nature of the force if they continue to rely upon it so? I consider her to be the greatest of the Sith since she represents not only the death of the force... but also the deconstruction of the Star Wars Universe.
@K Korona Kreia is the fucking antagonist, and she's nihilistic asf, not a Mary Sue trait at all, and also she's wise and experienced, very calculating and logical, she just has some layers of plot armor, but nothing like a Mary Sue
@K Korona Hm, personally I think you couldn't be more wrong. Kreia is basically more of a grey/out of the ordinary character by Star Wars standards. While powerful in the force, she is no Yoda or Sidious as far as we know in strength. She earned her knowledge and strength over a long lifetime, as not only just a Jedi and then a Sith, but also as a more independent force sensitive jaded by both the Jedi and Sith Orders. She was, in a way, a lot more like Luke Skywalker in the sequel trilogy (not entirely, just in a few ways) Luke grew disillusioned with the Jedi, and being Jedi, thousands of years after Kreia had. Kreia had lived for decades as a Jedi (like Dooku had, for a comparison) before turning to the dark side - frustrated with the limitations of the Jedi (just like Dooku - though his reasons for abandoning the order were also political as well as ideological, whereas Kreia was more of a victim of circumstance as well as the backlash over the Revanists turning rogue as they followed Revan on an increasingly dark path against the Mandalorians, against the wishes of the Jedi Council) As a Sith Lady, Darth Traya learned even more about the force. Kreia later regarded Jedi Master Atris, as being like herself in a younger time. Blinded by the dogma of the Jedi and prone to making judgements based on a flawed ideology, and being in denial about things that contradicted them. So right there you see that Kreia herself admits to being limited in her past, not some champion of trying to take down the force. You see, Kreia's main motivating drive is to *kill the force itself* and yes it is what she wants and no she isn't necessarily wrong for trying. The philosophy of Kreia is a very complex and ultimately fascinating take on Star Wars, and there is literally a documentary on youtube made nearly 2 hours long, describing and analysing this philosophy and other aspects of her interactions with other characters in her time, going into far greater detail than I can here. Suffice it to say, that Kreia is ''red pilled'' on the issue about the force so to speak. She is one of the few characters in Star Wars to actually, properly see through the dichotomies of the force and interpret the real horror show, groundhog day which is constantly playing out over and over and over again ad infinitum. The grand irony - among many ironies regarding Kreia - is that on the one hand she is clearly a remorseless, heartlessly indifferent monster in so many regards, more than willing to indulge in any viciousness and murder to get what she wants (often through others she manipulates with a horrific ease) and *yet* she is also genuinely disgusted by the force itself. Though she is, ironically (another one of those many ironies I'm talking about) consummately talented in the force, on par with some of the greatest force wielders in galactic history no doubt, she is hellbent on finding a way to end the force. Kreia grew to understand that, in reality, the symbiotic relationship the force has with force users, may not be quite as mysterious as the Jedi and Sith had long believed. The ''great mysteries of the force'' which both orders had sought to discover, the great trials and tribulations both (and other non-Jedi and non-Sith) would go through to find enlightenment - perhaps all of it was merely incidental and in some cases even coincidental. Quite frankly, the force uses beings as hosts for it's continuation, as much as the beings harness it; and as Kreia suspected, far more than just that. She found it maddening and sickening that the force would constantly have light and dark rise to meet each other and produce endless, repetitive cycles of warfare in which untold billions would rise and fall with the tides of war and peace, life and death. Kreia understood that herself, and every other force user, were possibly just the drones of the force itself. The thought disgusted her. And more than that, the great irony implies that she had sympathy for the galaxy - thinking it would be freer and better off, without the force. To strip the force from the galaxy wholesale, to stop the endless repetitive cycle. To basically break the wheel of the force (to borrow a phrase from Game of Thrones - but Kreia is a LOT smarter than Daenerys Targaryen lol ; not even close) The wheel Kreia sought to destroy, was that of the dominion over the lives of all the people of the galaxy that it seemed to have. This abhorrent (to her) predictability, and fake-ness about everything. It was disillusioning to her initially and later became her fixation. She recognised that monsters like Nihilus and Sion, were capable of rising over and over again. She knew that if it wasn't those monsters, it'd be another set of monsters. But she knew, in spite of all that, that even they were victims of the force. After all, the Mass Shadow Generator had caused Nihilus to become what he was - and Sion's insane process of clinging to life through pain, was also abhorrent to Kreia. As Star Wars Theory in this video explained, Kreia would never have appreciated this positively about Sion and couldn't have been further from that line of thinking. Calling Kreia a Mary Sue is one hell of a stretch. She evolved many times in her long life, and trained the likes of Revan. She was hardly a fool jumping out of nowhere to be super powerful, like Rey for comparison. She earned her stripes as a Jedi, then as a Sith, then as an exiled blind woman apparently unable to use the force (when she was actually one of the few force users in galactic history to survive what she went through - that is, being forcibly stripped of the force by not only the Lord of Hunger Nihilus, whom was known to devour entire planets of life force, but the Lord of Pain, Sion too) Surviving what she did just barely, she not only survived but managed to retain a shred of her power and from that, slowly rebuild in her own way. Kreia was a very skilled and powerful force wielder, though as I say, she ironically would have preferred to destroy the force altogether. Like other ''grey'' force users, she has views developed with appreciation for different aspects of how to use the force. While mocking the Jedi, she doesn't entirely discredit them - she appreciates that big portions of their knowledge and learning, are valid. Valid, in the sense that in the grand scheme of things, their insights are worth something. She was a Jedi for a long time, after all, and no novice. She didn't just suddenly become the Kreia as we see her during her interactions with those in-game. She is basically a veteran, of multiple forms of force mastery (and of war) Yet you think she is a Mary Sue? I think she is a morally grey character whom is more than happy to risk the deaths of most of the living beings in the galaxy in the short term to ''save the galaxy from the force'' in the long-term. She goes way beyond the kind of depression and apathy that Luke had in Episode VIII. She is not only disillusioned with the Jedi dogma, but way, way beyond that. She is like, ''fuck this noise entirely'' and trying to *flip the table* not just change the rules of the board game she is playing (figuratively speaking) [1/2]

The Sith Triumvirate are truly amazing in their own right.
*Darth Sion,* Lord of pain who drew from his countless deaths and injuries only to become stronger, literally held together by the dark side of the force and his will to continue.
*Darth Nihlus,* Lord of hunger who consumed the force and life energy of so many Jedi that it could be said he was no longer human and was a aspect of the force itself
*Darth Traya,* Lord of betrayal she saw the force for what it really is, and unlike any other Sith Lord sought to destroy the force itself. Because how could anyone truly be free of the cyclical and sadistic nature of the force if they continue to rely upon it so? I consider her to be the greatest of the Sith since she represents not only the death of the force... but also the deconstruction of the Star Wars Universe.

Kreia is better than Sion. He couldn't have beaten her without Nihilus.
@DerangedGod ?
@@ThePalaeontologist if she breathes, she's a thot
@@darthtroller ah...
She was, in a way, a lot more like Luke Skywalker in the sequel trilogy (not entirely, just in a few ways)
Luke grew disillusioned with the Jedi, and being Jedi, thousands of years after Kreia had. Kreia had lived for decades as a Jedi (like Dooku had, for a comparison) before turning to the dark side - frustrated with the limitations of the Jedi (just like Dooku - though his reasons for abandoning the order were also political as well as ideological, whereas Kreia was more of a victim of circumstance as well as the backlash over the Revanists turning rogue as they followed Revan on an increasingly dark path against the Mandalorians, against the wishes of the Jedi Council)
As a Sith Lady, Darth Traya learned even more about the force.
To basically break the wheel of the force (to borrow a phrase from Game of Thrones - but Kreia is a LOT smarter than Daenerys Targaryen lol ; not even close)
The wheel Kreia sought to destroy, was that of the dominion over the lives of all the people of the galaxy that it seemed to have.
She earned her stripes as a Jedi, then as a Sith, then as an exiled blind woman apparently unable to use the force (when she was actually one of the few force users in galactic history to survive what she went through - that is, being forcibly stripped of the force by not only the Lord of Hunger Nihilus, whom was known to devour entire planets of life force, but the Lord of Pain, Sion too)
Surviving what she did just barely, she not only survived but managed to retain a shred of her power and from that, slowly rebuild in her own way.
She is basically a veteran, of multiple forms of force mastery (and of war)
Yet you think she is a Mary Sue?
I think she is a morally grey character whom is more than happy to risk the deaths of most of the living beings in the galaxy in the short term to ''save the galaxy from the force'' in the long-term.
She goes way beyond the kind of depression and apathy that Luke had in Episode VIII. She is not only disillusioned with the Jedi dogma, but way, way beyond that. She is like, ''fuck this noise entirely'' and trying to *flip the table* not just change the rules of the board game she is playing (figuratively speaking)
