@@aleshakate nice! I will be 1 Yr locd in 2 weeks and I am planning to semi free form so your videos and journey on the same will be super helpful🙂 Love from Kenya ✌🏽🇰🇪
question I started mine with two strand twists but it's still one month so far so what did you do about the frizzy loose hairs? Or how you stop them from unraveling? I did crochet them a bit to keep them from unraveling fully but even if I twist the new growth and loose hair they still come a part?
I did have a twist in the beginning that I did end up having to braid because it kept coming a loose and eventually it was fine. From my experience the loose hairs were normal and I would just twist them around the loc. As your locs mature this won’t be as big as an issue though. It’s completely normal early on to have loose hairs. Do you have a few twists unraveling or is it most of them?
@@aleshakate i noticed it was only 3 doing it...one in the front, one on top, and one at the back. the rest feel pretty firm and they're starting to lose the twisted look and i think its because i was using water and sea salt
Oh ok! Yeah they will loc up before long. I had a couple that I had to twist back when I washed, but within a couple months they finally started to stay put.

Is it better 2 seperate dry or wet?
For me it is always easier to separate wet hair 😊
