My Hero Academia Chapter 376 is on the way and Dabi has officially arrived in Endeavor's area in MHA 375, so I want to discuss the time that Dabi Awakens his Quirk, during the battle with Dabi vs Shoto in the Final War, and what that awakening might be capable of given what it did for Shoto. Touya Todoroki's version of Shoto's Phosphor quirk awakening should make Dabi one of the most dangerous characters in MHA, but could it also make the Dabi Phoenix Theory come true?!

His Quirk does have an official name now: Blueflame. Personally, I prefer Cremation. It’s cooler and it makes more sense as a name since Toya’s flames weren’t always blue.

it would be pretty cool if after his awakening and he is reborn by his flames the quirk is renamed from blue flame to phoenix flame
Honestly I don't get why they changed the name to Blueflame. That sounds so lame compared to Cremation.
@@jorienwachukwu466 They never did. It was always blueflame. It was confirmed in the MVA arc when he was facing Geten. Cremation was the fanname.

personally, i would like to see that dabi's quirk is like a phoenix, not because it would be so cool, but because that would bring even more suffering to endeavor (thematically it would be brilliant). as in, dabi's body HAS to be weak to fire to burn himself to ash, so he could be reborn from it. imagine, the child you discarded for being 'weak' is essentially immortal.
if he does have a phoenix quirk, it would also be interesting if he was 'healed' from it, or is literally reborn from it. he burns to death in front of endeavor, leaves a pile of ash, and then boom a baby is there in the ashes in front of endeavor. almost like giving him another chance to be a proper father. only time will tell

Bro, Dabi is so broken. Like, he's easily one of the strongest characters in the series when he's not holding back.
I’m thinking Dabis body is already dead He’s using the fire to move the body through the circulatory system. Dabis body is dead but the concept behind shoots move is allowing the fire to move the body. How terrifying would it be for endeavor to see in the middle of the fight for the remains of toyas body to fully burn away and he’s literally left fighting a human shaped fire. kinda like the concept of iceman’s power where he’s basically an elemental who pretends to be human. Becoming a concept of fire rather than a living being forcing the hero’s to have to take him down mentally or having somone contain /talk him down.
That would be cool as hell. It makes sense too, since even Garaki was like: "How the fuck is this guy alive?"

He might be fire-resistant but he still needs to breathe like everybody else so his quirk would suck if he had astma
You right fire needs oxygen to burn leaving none for the user to take in or taking all the users oxygen to continue burning
Maybe dabi’s fire does aggravate other flames and make them stronger. In heroes rising when his fire hits endeavors it causes a blast…
I know it might sound stupid but dabis quirk awakening would probably be "Ice flames" the more I think about it the more it kinda makes sense, his body has a resistance to ice but he has a flame quirk. What if it's because he could change the temperature of the flames but he never tried since he always tried copying endeavors moves?
Very interesting! It also reminds me when not sure which character mentioned it but they talked about a Woman who at first thought her Quirk was creating water from her body but it wasn't instead the Quirk was gathering the moister from the air to create the water.
the more you think the more pissed off i get realizing how stupid people are he has a fire quirk with his moms body type which is why he burns himself cause he did not take fire resistence from endevour which is why endevour stopped letting toya train cause he would burn himself prolly cause he did not get the ice quirk to cool himself down like shoto did
and dabis flames turned blue as he got older implying hes flames got hotter with age so really he could change the tempature of his flames

@@prodigy7051 I'm talking about completely reversing the temperature not just cranking down the heat but making flames cold enough to where he doesn't get burned.
If somehow Dabi gets redeemed (And that's a HUGE if), his flame color might turn white. White represents purity, and if he can be saved would make total sense.
I know a lot of people saying that Dabi's gonna die and it also seems like it but narrative wise for this story, Touya's death won't serve any purpose at all. The kids are trying to save the villains here - Shoto saving Touya, Deku saving Shiggy and Uraraka (maybe) saving Toga. And you think Hori sensei would let Deku and Uraraka be successful in saving their villain counterparts but not Shoto (its even worse given that Touya's his own brother)? Nah, that's not gonna happen. And this is Hori sensei we are talking about who loves fake-outs and fabricated plot twists. On top of that Hori sensei isn't as savage as Akutami sensei (Jujutsu Kaisen), Fujimoto sensei (Chainsaw Man) and Wakui sensei (Tokyo Revengers) are who loves killing off their characters left and right.
I think Dabi's body is dead already he's just becoming a living flame similar to number 6. the only way i can see him walking this off is if he has a secondary awakening and uses something like cold plasma to heal himself or the phoenix quirk theory that has been floating around.
I just realised If dabi's Body is made to resist cold temperatures wouldnt anything done against him to put out his fire actually be extending his life even if just slightly?
I don’t understand how Dabi is still alive. He is burning alive. I don’t care if you can’t feel, your muscles still need to be used to move. Blood still needs to ho through your body to live. He is burning all of that.
If he was a phoenix, then it will awaken his ice qwark that would act as his sheild for his immense flames

I hope the phoenix theory is true because then Dabi can try to have some sort of redemption and it would be like a Sasuke and itachi situation for the todoroki family because Dabi was a villain but it happened because of endeavor
I like the idea of pheonix Dabi but be real, there’s no rehabilitating Dabi. He has been hating Endeavor and Shoto for too long to suddenly be turned good after a short speech. He is dying in a blaze of glory.

Dabi is definitely gonna die killing Endeavor with a Prominence Burn. If he revives then the heroes have lost because Deku has no resistance to fire.

Deku doesn't need to resist fire, he can just flick the atmosphere away

If Dabi is a Phoenix then I wonder when he dies will his hate goes with him after reborn or will he get rid of his hate and feel love.
The color art of Dabi and the poor guy is beautiful colors even though it is simple colors.
This ark is getting crazy and wild which is good to see some of our heros getting hurt so bad or worse death. The villians are doing their hardest which is good for the story. I know we don't want a weak villians but clever and strong so when they lose it is bitter sweet.

Shoto: Plot is the only reason he wasn't killed and still needed backup specifically made to face Dabi

@@SVU631 yes comparing dabi to the ninja world where the entire clans base ability is copying is genius and it's also not like dabi is endeavor son and was taught the base and trained to use those moves and studied endeavor for years nah all this makes him copying shotos attack which took the balance of fire and ice to use and some how molding it in his own version makes complete and utter sense right
@@durrangodsgrief6503 I don’t think that is what is happening. It just wouldn’t make any sense for Dabi to be able to perfectly replicate the move. Just because you can control the heat of the fire doesn’t mean you can radically change it like Shoto did. Since the flames Dabi is making are extremely hot. Nothing about how they are acting or how they are drawn conveys that the fire is cold or anything like that. We even see it used on Onima and that guy is burnt to a crisp. The actual answer is far simpler. What Dabi is doing is copying the process of using his heart as a circulator for his power, hence that little spark we saw him have earlier, only with his fire. So while it is making the Quirk more powerful, he doesn’t have the coldness that Shoto has with his version, so it’s only making fire. There is some logic to this. After all, Shoto and Dabi are brothers. It is perfectly reasonable that Dabi would be able to pull off something similar with his own power
@@FateTearsStudios agreed it has been mentioned many times that dabi fire is much more powerfull than his father but poeple still beleive that endevor has a chance currently in the manga after copyng phopshore he is much more powerful than afo especially since afo doesnt have regenaration quirk like shigaraki he is second strongest after shigaraki

Dabi will not survie.. his quirk is too detrimental to his own body.. and I get the feeling that everyone is going to discover that once he awakened.. he was already dead. All thats keeping him still moving is his rage and anger... but his body is already dead.

And damaged a prime all might level character.. dabi doesn't even have weakened all might level feats..... And bakugou was holding back. Bakugo has better speed. Better endurance. Better mobility iq technique etc.... bakugo one shots and calls it a day... there's a reason nobody important is wasting there time with dabi lol. Twice was/still is more of a threat

Shoto's Glacier attack was larger than Bakugo's Howitzer Cluster. Tamaki's attack was WAAAAAYYY larger than almost everything in the series so far, but we're not going to say he's stronger than everyone.
Dabi is currently stronger than Shoto, even though it's pretty close. If Bakugo can burn Shigaraki, then Shoto and Dabi should find it equally easy or even easier to burn Shigaraki. Deku > Dabi>= Shoto= Bakugo.
Shoto is massively important, btw. Dabi fighting him is narrative. Bakugo and Shoto are meant to be close even though Shoto should be higher because he has the better quirk, but Horikoshi made Bakugo 2nd main character, so Bakugo keeps getting miracle upgrades while Shoto doesn't, but he's still as strong as Bakugo.
