You don't need the nail polish remover or water. Place the laser image face down on the clay, place a tile over it and bake it. You can color the laser image with high quality pencils or markers, too before you bake it. Peel off the paper and voila! The image quality is MUCH BETTER if you bake it. Works with all laser printers, color and black and white.
Thank you so much, Sue. I printed my images on Laser Jet printer. It has to be laser jet, not inkjet. It is kind of nice because you can totally personalize your pendants with photos of places or family members. Have a beautiful day!
@@joannascorner4478 you are so welcome Joanna. I always look forward to your videos. I tried a transfer before myself and it didn’t work. Now, because of your video I know what the issue is ... I have ink jet printer and not a laser printer 🤣 Have a great day also my sweet friend 🌞
Good question! Ink jet didn't work for me and when I watched others do it I realized that they were using laser jet . When I tried it, it worked like a miracle! But let me know if the ink jet worked for you. I almost think that is trial and error. I watched people doing image transfer with the nail polish and it looked amazing but I simply couldn't get it done. Let me know if ink jet worked for you.
@@joannascorner4478 I don't have LaserJet so I might try the inkjet, but since you tried it and it didn't work, I won't be have too high of hopes of it working. But like you said, trial and error.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing. This did not work for me with water, but did work with nail polish remover. So happy! Can you send a link for the telly roll glitter pen you used? Thank you so much for sharing your tutorial!
I'm so glad that it worked for you with the nail polish remover! I have seen it work for others but I could not get it to work for anything! I wonder if it depends what brand of clay you are using? The gel pen is just something that I picked up at Micheals. I will see if I can find a link for it! Thank you so much for watching!! Glad you enjoyed the project!
I’d like to ask how you finish the back of your pendants ? And also if you can show us later on just a suggestion of how to keep light colour clay and white ones from catching dust or how to get rid of that if happened ? Thank you 💐
White clay is so difficult to work with for me! That's the precise reason why you don't see me make a lot of white pendants. I use it all the time for alcohol ink but not that much by itself. The black and white pendant that I just made took so much cleaning on my part. I made sure that the surface was super clean and washed my hands between handling different pieces of clay. Its amazing how your hands get dirty handling other colors and if even a tiny bit is on your hand, yeap, you got it, it will be on your white clay. So keeping super clean work space is so important. I will be making another white pendant soon and I will absolutely mention it. When it comes to dust, once it's in, it's in. I don't keep my clay uncovered unless I work with it. I keep it in little plastic containers or in a plastic bag . I even sometimes cover it with clear wrap if I will be leaving a project on the side for few hours. So , did I mention that white clay is difficult to keep clean? Let's see if someone else chimes in with some good ideas.
Thank you so much, Kerrie! I assumed that nail polish and acetone would work the same but they don't. I will absolutely try acetone! Thank you so much for the suggestion!
This is regular copy paper. You need to print to it on laser jet printer. Ink jet printer will not let you do the image trader. Have fun with it, Diana!
I love, love, love your projects Ludmila! I used water to do the transfer as the nail polish remover didn't work. I also colored with the copics after it was baked to get a more defined image. I have seen a lot of people doing different transfers, sorry if mine looks similar to yours. I didn't mean to offend you and will go back and watch your project again. If it does look the same, I will absolutely mention you in my description.
Wowe! The magic of water. Thanks for sharing! So exciting!
Thank you so much, Vickie! Isn't just so amazing what we can create with so little?!? Have a beautiful day, my friend!

So Cool glad it worked.
Thank you so much, April!
Absolutely love this technique!
Me too, Cathy! Can you imagine what we can create with it?!
@@joannascorner4478 I thought that as well. One question though. Why just Lazerjet and not inkjet? What's the difference?

Beautiful. Thank you!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you watching it!
Very nice.
Fabulous!
Thank you so much!
I 7se pure acetone not nail polish remover and it works great every time. I burnish the paper onto clay before adding liquid
Thank you so much, Kerrie! I assumed that nail polish and acetone would work the same but they don't. I will absolutely try acetone! Thank you so much for the suggestion!
Beautiful, beautiful, congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 what kind paper can be transferred to any polymer clay or a special one or is it the ink . Thanks 🙏
Thank you so much,Olga! I used just a regular copy paper. It seems that the laser jet printer is a magic here. Let me know if it works for you!
You can use alcohol on the laxer printed picture.
Hi what was the name of the glitter pen you used please 💕💕💕
Your Yosemite picture would be pretty on a pastel color
Yes, it would be! Completely agree with that. Thank you so much, Carole, for watching!
You. Ishtar have had a small air bubble where the one transfer had bald spots.
Inkjet will work with dissolving paper.
I have laser jet do I need to print it on regular paper or laserjet paper??
Regular copy paper will do!! Let me know how it comes out. Hugs
Maybe some brands of nail polish remover work differently than others.
I absolutely agree because I have seen people use nail polish remover doing this technique and it works fine.
Awesome, unfortunately I don’t have a laser printer.
Thank you so much, Lucinda! Yes, the only problem with this project is that it will not work without laser printer
You must have had 2 little air pockets on the 3rd one.
Yes, it sure looks like it!
Is this laser or inkjet copy?
Hi Lynn! The image has to be printed on laserjet.
What brand and name of transfer paper
This is regular copy paper. You need to print to it on laser jet printer. Ink jet printer will not let you do the image trader. Have fun with it, Diana!
I don't think my printer is the correct one.
Maybe the nail polish remover was not acetone. 😊
Oh, that would have been a silly mistake on my part but I have done plenty of those! Thank you for the suggestion! Have a wonderful day my friend!
Use a marker and fix them.
The same, copied, here!! Shame, Joanna
