Thank you for your clear explaination! It's a great video. Is it possible for you to add the dataset you used (the csv file) in the comment, so viewers could use it to practice too? Thank you
Extremely well done. However, I'm frustrated because my data won't be recognized as a geographic role because my geographic column is US Metropolitan statistical areas, which often have hyphenated names. Any recommendations for how to get Tableau to recognize these as geographic? For example, I have one observation named Albany-Schenectady-Troy, NY.
Great video... I was trying to add time series data. Co2 emissions over the period of years..... I have taken year in to page column and tried to animate it but colours are not changing when I played animation. How to fix this....
Hey, thanks for the video. I did exactly what you did, but right after clicking on the map you get a blank map with USA covered, I get nothing for India. A pure plain white background with nothing on it. What am I missing?
How to show the map when there is no data for that particular state? i.e., I want the state with NULL data to be Grayed out. (FYI, I set the Washout to 0%, it only shows borders)
Great video! I am working on specific data for the USA but when I'm creating a map Tableau only shows me dots for my country. How could I change that? ( I have the public version)
I rarely comment on UA-cam videos, but this is bloody unbelievable. Thank you so much!
Super helpful, exactly what I needed. Got it the first try. Thanks much!
Very clear explanation, subscribe right away. Thank you!
That's such an informative crash course! :P Thanks for this upload! Got me more interested and hope I can get h00ked onto tableau.

Thank you so much for this video it really helped me make sense of my assignment :)
Awesome! I banged my head against the wall for an hour over a janky Excel add-on. Should've began with Tableau and never touched Excel!!!
Thanks so much for this great tutorial!
Thank you! Helped with my HW 🙏🏼
it'll be great if you put the data source in the description box, so I can try it too using your data source while following your instructions
Can you share your dataset ?
Great video and to the point. Thanks
Very helpful. Thank you
Thanks Jalayer, this helps

Hello, I’m working on the tableau but I can’t seem to find state and country. I can only pull up longitude and latitude. Do u have any advice?
I need to geocode ambiguous town names but need to export this list from tableau to build the CSV file, correct? How? 300+ ambiguities...

How would we do it if the states were columns?
Very helpful thank you!
Thank you for this wonderful vid, I tried this with an African country, but it doesn't work.
Why my tableau can only use text tables, I can't choose maps
what i want is that top 10 values with labels written like legend beside map
I don't want the sum I want to showcase the average hotel review score on a hotel in an area
