Lol, when it came out I literally talked to a friend how Vesper of Radius related to this because of circles, and this is a circle. My guess is that the dungeon is Fallen theme based off of it's religious context, or Psion related. We haven;t seen a Fallen dungeon since Beyond Light, and this could possibly be related to a subset of the House of Splicers who've turned to Pyramid tech, or it could possibly be the faction of Psion loyal to Yirix. We know they are after the Echoes, this is possibly a stake for those.
Holy hell I just realized, that’s a sun in the middle, and a vex construct surrounding it. This is what is through the vex gate on Europa that Clovis bray went to. (This is written before I watched the video)

Honestly, i thought I'd move away from Destiny more than i have since Final Shape, but Revenant does actually capture my attention! I'm excited to see what they're cooking.
Its looks to me like a vex portal that has been taken from its original place. Its tied to something to keep it in place to its new location. Given that the past couple seasons have have a story line of using vex tech timelines for personal gains, I would say someone took it from Venus and couldn't power it without "vex milk" so they used another power source and used the salvaged pyramid tech after the fall of the witness. The question is who did it and where does it lead.
Bungie? Actually make something fresh? They haven't done that in years, even with a fully staffed studio. Guaranteed we're going to be fighting Taniks again. For all we know, the Scorn raided his destroyed body from the Deep Stone Crypt. Remember, we literally broke it open. "Allies and foe alike".
I do have a theory. Fikrul is raising dead fallen or scorn and he raises the soul of an ancient evil unknown to us “Vesper” and since vespers body is long dead Fikrul is looking for a Host body for Vesper.
We’ve spent so many story beats in-game being lost, uninformed.. and the whole time i’m screaming… there’s literally a giant Library on Venus!!!! What are you doing?!

i think the witness tried doing the same thing, making a portal like how Crota and the hive had the portals, but failed, that's why its that big ass orange portal thingy, its left behind as a failed project. or maybe something went wrong when the witness tried testing it.
That was the whole deal with the Radial Mast on Neomuna, to link with the Veil and create a portal into the Traveler. This portal was definitely likely a prototype.

I believe these keyholes and the ship he's referencing may be explored in the 3rd episode, not so much here though.
Host also means a large group of people or things. So whoever or whatever Vesper is, they have a large group of things with them or they named themselves after this Vesper.
Getting a very Dead Space, Event Horizon, Europa Report vibe from the picture so far. Judging by the horror style they seem to be going for this episode this may be some “portal to hell” type thing with Scorn, Taken, And/Or Dread involved. Like an old golden age space station with portals to places we never should have reached and now it’s being re-opened
provided the grammar is intended in "Vesper's" it's safe to say the host is not belonging to the vesper. that would require the possessive spelling "Vespers' " with the apostrophe after the "s". the way its spelled here is the contraction spelling, or the short version of "Vesper is" Grammatically, it doesn't make sense to say "vesper is host" unless they're trying to tell us the Vesper is the host of something, perhaps us?
@@moore9793 I see what you're saying, but it still doesn't explain the contraction use. The apostrophe before the "s" indicates the "i" in "is" is removed which when spelled out and read tells us something is being hosted by the Vesper. "Vesper is host". to indicate the Vesper is not performing an action, such as hosting, the apostrophe should be after the "s" telling us the Vesper owns something, such as the host it uses to survive. "Vespers' host" as the host belongs to the singular Vesper. Without an apostrophe, "Vespers" is simply the plural of Vesper. the only time that won't apply is with words that end in "s" and require an apostrophe. "s's" doesn't exist in our grammar far as i'm aware. Moss is an example of a word that will never have an " 's" because it ends in s. that said, we don't have enough information to know if the Vesper is hosting or in control of a host yet. The contracted spelling seems to suggest the Vesper is the host and something else has taken it over similar to the curse of the dreaming city. "Dreaming City's host" would translate to the "Dreaming City is host" to the curse whereas "Dreaming Citys' host" describes the host as the subject and the entity that allows the Dreaming City to survive. We are a host to the Dreaming City as we keep the curse in check and allow the city to still survive. we also kinda brought the curse in, too, but we will ignore that for now...
Vesper's host can mean "vesper is the host" or "the host of Vesper". If vesper is some kind of army, virus or anything of the sort, the dungeon might be it's host. It's too broad of a definition to start assuming
If host means a military host, then this could be a Shadow Legion/Dread dungeon. Taking into account the developing story of the Psions controlling Dread units, Vesper could be a commander. Could even be that Vesper is a Disciple or something adjacent, after all the Witness made Attendants and Weavers for a reason.

I think there's 2 dungeons coming out: Vesper's Host and another next season, with this year's raid being Salvation's Edge
@soraxstacy1477 idk about two dungeons back to back but anything dreadnought related is in the 3rd episode. Bungie said act 2 is fallen/scorn themed and we're vampire hunters. Wouldn't make sense that this episodes dungeon would be on the dreadnought
@thenedsmmachannel8970 Mate, we know Heresy is Episode 3, idk why you keep repeating the same shit OP said....
Ready for a soap opera. And stupid 10 power grind they took away but now bringing back.
If it has vex im going to uninstall the game
Hi
😂
I always forget there are literal nukes in destiny. The tone of the story is so "he's right behind me isn't he" that it's hard to take the very thought of nukes seriously.
I highly doubt your theory eith the Nine but I also love it
I'm tired of everyone just ignoring them
