You are 100% responsible for breaking and accelerating.
It’s too much of a faff to use the automatic parking assist when you can just park the bleeding car in a fraction of the time.

love the xc40, but that is sloooow, multi directions required? this could have easily been better accomplished manually in one step. and quicker. Now I now when I see those people who take forever to park their cars are not necessarily little old Qtips on drugs.
It can be done in one step! I parked it too close to the other car on purpose to demonstrate that it does not need to be perfectly aligned and it will correct as needed to get into the space. This is also true for tight parallel parking spots as well!

My fiesta has this auto parking too. Used it 3 times since I bought it in March this year. It's a gimmick.
This is great for ladies who cant park within the lines and are intimidated to park in clustered areas.
Cool but useless. Let me explain: If you need it -> then you shouldn't have a license -> which makes having a car with auto-park useless. 👍
