Great! Here my resumee: Test of DIY 500AMP EVE PL 33A 3,82V/cell, after 20s and then 40A 3,57V/cell, at 1 min 3,52V@30,8°C, 2 min ca. 3,41V @40,0°C (but what´s annoying is voltage starting at 4,27V on the tester..) JP40 33A 3,74V/cell, after 20s and then 40A 3,60V/cell, at 1 min XX V@29,7°C, 2 min ca. 3,47V @37,5°C (starting at 4,23V) Tests of CoolWatts: P45B after 3sec is 3,53V/cell and at 1 min 3,39V @39,0°C, 2 min 3,30V @51,8°C BAK after 3sec is >3,65V/cell and at 1 min 3,48V @36,1°C, 2 min 3,41V @52,4°C JP40 after 5sec is >3,68V/cell and at 1 min 3,56V @36,0°C, 2 min 3,45V @44,2°C (starting at 4,19V)
These cells are going to change the game. Things that were previously impossible will become the norm. Pretty incredible that a small company created them before the big name brands. Where is the Molicel equivalent?
@@DIY500AMP I didn't think so. Molicel will obviously come out with their own tabless cells, and there's a good chance they will take the high drain crown back. At least imo.
@@DIY500AMP The Ampace JP40 cells would make an excellent power source for a battery spot welder. I'm also imagining how much they will change flashlight designs. They will double the brightness of turbo modes. And then there's portable vaporizers- they have always needed high drain cells, and to imagine at least a doubling in amperage is just insane. These cells will bring about a shifting in drone power sources from lipo based pouch cells, to these JP40 cylindrical cells until someone else can compete with them. I bet Ukraine is already using them in their drones.
I use a : pair of REvo Powerlab DPL8s for 32 cells tested to XLS at 40A ea. ganged up, powered with a 48V DC regen bank ( who wants to waste teh watt hours) of about 6kWh. This allows me to test ANY ebike cell or pack. At up to 40A. up to 130VDC or so. Above that I have a 800VDC homemade logger from a Cycle analyst analogger with teh solar firmware. Regen charge does not waste the kWh energy. For my meter I use a FLIR DM285 and it is my thermal camera too. I run Tektronix THS scopes.
I once told Ron Spinninmg Magnets about an old aluminum sheet welding welders trick. In a Pm... and on the thread for EV cells over there. I told him bout that old sheet welders trick to " sandwich" the copper or aluminum between two harder, more resistant metals... about amonth later he wrote up an article about it. Published it on the Sphere.. and I gave input there too. fast forward to two years later EVERYONE is doing copper nickel with the K weld. lol.
That 3000 watt module looks insane hahaha. Love it
Thank you !!!
impressive indeed.
Thanks !
Great attention to detail
I will be releasing today more testing.
Great!

You crazy me!!! 🤪 Very high drain cell!!!!🤩🤩
@@Antony--DIY yes it is. The most impressive is the watts hour that give you at that rate. Full 4ah.
@@DIY500AMP yes yes.. i see it in diagram!!
Do you believe i can buy these cells.? I'm from Greece 🇬🇷🤔
Subscribed as soon as I sew those copper leads welded, sitting right next to the same fluke meter as mine. Yours is shinny though
Dude that dc load you have is a sexy circuit.
I am all in copper !!! Is the way to go.
These cells are going to change the game. Things that were previously impossible will become the norm. Pretty incredible that a small company created them before the big name brands. Where is the Molicel equivalent?
The Molicel “equivalent” is the P50B and is very inferior to these cell. The closed competitor is the EVE 40 PL and is inferior as well.
@@DIY500AMP The P50B is tabless?
@@dieselphiend no. Is a P45B in steroids

Just ordered some of these batteries. Tabless is amazing. Any other brands make em/Sell em
I have 130 of them coming.
@@DIY500AMPi see the deal about 130 cells..
Waiting for your review when come to your hands and tell me if they are ok to buy them!!🙋😘

Hi. Where could I buy these cells. Thanks. Greetings from Brazil.

@DIY500AMP thanks for the link. Sorry about the late reply.
Hi friend, could you make a video explaining how you can make that electronic charging module reach up to 2700 AH?
@@19396jose you mean 2700W

I agree there is tons of best ways to do this. I am using what I got in hands.
Thanks for your suggestions and commenting !!
imagine 5 in parallel... 200 Amps would need "jump starter" cables to connect to your bike or scooter 😂
Yes !!! is a beast of cell.
