the second juicy dumpling one is from brand name bibigo which is Korean brand. They’re very reputable brand they’re known for their dumplings and have whole line of other food products.
I love their shrimp fried rice and regular chicken dumplings too. All delicious!
I love it when he takes a bite then sticks his hand out to the side like he's expecting someone to give him five but no one does.
See ingredients and high sodium content on these instant soups and Asian products..hard to find all natural ingredients I am asuan and I know msg is a big flavor enhancer so I just do not buy all that stuff

Bibigo makes good battered chicken with various sauces, the orange chicken is really good. It's actually made by Schwan's which I just found out when I saw the grocery clerk stocking the freezer.

I don't know. I've had the Tonkotsu and it's good. We've had the Meteor noodles, Pho, shrimp wantons, and others but the Tonkotsu disappeared like lightning compared to the others. Though my favorite remains the spicy buldak. The soup dumplings I have yet to see at my store, but am on the lookout for them.

lol i love how you had to cut the dumplings coming out, I knew they would stick a bit with a crust like that! They looked pretty good though!!
I just bought my first bamboo steamer basket and steamed my first buns today and they turned out great. I'm definitely gonna use it for more buns and dumplings. Plus other stuff lol
What location is the Costco you bought these? Not all of the locations have these. I live on Long Island (hubby grew up in Flushing).
Bibigo soup dumplings are made by the same company that makes the Trader Joe's soup dumplings. Easily my fave frozen soup dumplings on the market, especially the Trader Joe's pork and ginger flavor.

Critical hit on the Tonkotsu. It's better than anything instant. It's not Ichiran but it gets the job done.
Yeah, I think he's going to be surprised how many people love those, they really are excellent.

Had the same experience with the tonkotsu ramen (mediocre broth, never getting it again) and the Bibigo soup dumplings (thought they didn't look great but tasted good and will be buying them again). Need to find those gyoza!

Dang! At 4:25, he fit the whole Dumpling in his mouth! To me, He could have just bit it in half and shown us the inside first. Lousy marketing! LOL! It looks really, really good though. Now I think I want some! Good thing I have some in the freezer!!

The tonkatsu nongshim are great, in the scheme of instant noodles available outside of Asia. But they are... no longer available, at least in Australia. Appeared to be discontinued late 2022 or early 2023.
Bibigo is not a bad dumpling. I have thier kimchi ones to try. I ate all my mini chicken dumplings. I was throwing a handful in my instant ramen.

I wish I could go to Costco but I don't have a membership but bibigo is a korean company and their dumplings are amazing.ilove the pork and vegetables ones but I wish I can try the other ones on day.they looks so good
I've bought both of those as well as the chicken soup dumplings by the same company and there's something about the dumplings that don't agree with me. Unfortunately they make me a bit nauseous. The noodles weren't fantastic either but I'm not big on instant noodles lol

I've had those soup dumplings from Costco, and I can confidently say that they are one of the soup dumplings of all time. Those instant noodles looked kinda mid too. I wanna try the gyoza though.

tonkatsu and tonkotsu are two different things..
I tried that ramen bowl once and I agree that the broth isn't rich enough. It was kinda bland.
Hey Mikey! The second dumpling you tried has a sauce distribution channel right on the plastic tray, just squeeze it into the marked spot! 😂
The tray's sauce spot is kinda small. Mike likes to lay the whole dumpling into the sauce.

Tonkatsu and Tonkotsu are two DIFFERENT things.
My Orlando Costco doesn't have any of these goodies.

ive had everything on this list besides the first dumpling and ye the ramen is very mid and bibigo tends to always be good. they also sell tteokbokki at costco in cups which is nice

Hi Mike. Love your content. 2 questions: 1. These soup dumplings look like Mila. Are they the same? 2. Why bite the top and drink the soup out? That ruins the whole experience of getting the soup, meat and dough together. I don't get why people would do that. Thanks!
They do it bc biting the whole thing burns all the skin out of your mouth lol
The soup dumplings one gets in a restaurant are too large to pop in the mouth and they have much more soup in them. It's easier (and less burning) to break open the top and drink the soup out with a straw.

No Costco love in Asheville, NC. We only have Sam's Club and a. Ottom tier one at that. I think they might have some nasty "sesame chicken." Other than that, it's all white bread. 😭
Bibigo never misses. Also, compared to most instant noodles (mainly Nissin and Maruchan) available in the US, that Tonkotsu ramen is fantastic. Nongshim makes superior products.
I wish we could find these products in Brazil. You can barely find a good quality shoyu at the supermarket over here.

Can't believe you gave the beef pho dumplings 9.5/10 when you gave the soup dumplings a 9/10. I think the soup dumplings are great and 9/10 is pretty accurate. But the beef pho dumplings do not deserve 9.5/10 nor is it better than the soup dumplings. I would give them a 6.5 to 7/10. The skin is hard / tough to chew if you microwave it. I did not try to steam it. But steaming it might be better. The flavor is good, but still not as good as the soup dumplings. Gyoza flavor is good but can't say they are restaurant quality. Deep frying them might be a different story.
Please stop calling it tonkAtsu ramen Mike 😅

Looks can be deceiving. I've already had them. Mike's right. The seasoning isn't that flavorful.
