Okay. I just increased from a 34DDD to a 36 G because the 36DDD was just too tight when I tried it on. The straps dug into my skin & it was extremely uncomfortable so, Soma let me return it. I was measured & tried on a 36H which gapped open just a tiny bit. The cup size felt really good & comfortable but,the straps dug in a little bit. I liked it but, I ended up buying the Wacoal 36G from Macy’s. which has wider straps & is front closure. It fits nicely but, my back is still hurting.Would a 34H be good to try next? I want a bra with thicker straps & something that is soft & pretty. Something that is supportive but,is not uncomfortable. Any ideas?

Hey there!! It sounds like a G cup may be the right cup size for you, and that it's the band/straps that are the issue here. Keep in mind when you get a new bra, ideally, you want to start wearing it on the loosest band setting that way when it naturally relaxes you'll be able to tighten it up down the road. So it should be snug when you first start wearing it, but not so incredibly uncomfy that it's painful. I would suggest playing around in the 38 band sizes first before going down a band size and going up a cup size (34H). Try a 38G and see how that fits and feels! Keep me posted!🍯💜
