There is a particular bra and lingerie company that does not have many sizes and does not want us to know how to measure for bras because they just want to sell sell sell. They will tell you your size is a sister size or the closest size they sell but will not tell you your real size. There is a size for you! Don’t let that company make you feel bad about yourself with their selling tactics. They always like to tell me I’m something like a dd or a ddd. In US I’m a J 😂😂😂

I've pretty much settled on the pullover sports/leisure bras, but that limits what i can wear for tops & dresses... 😢

I have a little tip for you, when you go and get a dress get one that has the Empire under the bust line. It will give you a more slender look, I have learned that being a plus-size gal myself! Have a wonderful 50th birthday! I had one and I invited all my family and friends and told them I only turn 50 once and I definitely want a haul in! I said I don't care if it's money, gifts, gift cards I want it all! LOL 😂 and I did I got a lot of nice gifts and gift cards and I had an absolutely wonderful time! Cassidy, I've mail ordered by my correct measurements ,but I've had to send all the bras back. I've measured the bands and even stretched out, they have all been inches shorter than what I ordered. I have a question, it may seam stupid or TMI but I'm confused about it and I keep getting different numbers....so....when you are doing the second measurement around the fullest wides part of the bust, should the bust be hanging down naturally or should the be in a lifted posting where I would want them to sit with a bra on? And also are you supposed to be standing straight and tall or do you need to lean forward at like a 90° angel? cuz I've heard that tip before as well. And also should the measuring tape be lose, a snug fit, or pulled super tight against your body? And also shouldn't a bra cup completely cover the breast to the point where no cleavage at all is showing? And also how do you keep the breast lifted up where they should be instead of sagging down below the bra band line? Any tips or advice would be appreciated thanks

I truly don't understand the whole every inch is a cup. My band is measuring 38 inches and my cup is measuring 44 inches. So do you start at 1 inch and just count all the way to 44 inches?
Wow. I have never known that many sizes. I struggled cause I always needed a plus size band width with an A or B cup, but all plus size bands are usually chunky to support larger cup sizes, and those were too chunky for me and hurt my skin and made me sweat... too many thick and hard elastics.

I'm in the same boat, my sister! Every time I measure myself, I get a 56C or a 56D (possibly during my PMS days) and no one sells those! And in the off chance that I do find a website that does, they are ugly, grannyish styles! I've tried what others have suggested.....buying our cup size and then just getting extenders for the back, but they still don't fit right for whatever reason. :(
This might be where you try out sister sizing and seeing if this helps you find more styles. For example, I'm a 34D/DD but I could consider a 36C or a 32DDD or 38B as my sister sizes. I'd also recommend finding plus sized boutiques if you can near you because they will absolutely have cuter styles than the granny styles we find online sometimes. Good luck!
I ordered a bra using my regular size(not your store), but the cup was way too big. It was a b cup but I could practically wear it as a hat. Any idea where I went wrong?
Not every store measured the same and also the style of bra (push up vs demi, for example) will also contribute to the cup size of the bra. If your breasts are drowning in the bra, go down a cup size. If your girls are spilling over the top, go up a cup size. If they're spilling out the armpits, go up a band size (the number). I find that Victoria Secrets and Lane Bryant have different sizing than say Nordstrom or Target or Sears does, so feel free to experiment and good luck!!!
That's what was done when I went to Wacoal store. 40 band and added 4( from band) which brought me to an I cup. Makes sense since we don't use e cups here.
I've watched what feels like a million videos and yours has been the best BUT here's my situation and question. I've lost 118 pounds in the past year and i hands NO bras that fit me. I've gone to torrid for a fitting but they just can't seem to get it right. I have what i lovingly call "armpit tits" 😆 🤣 😂 that spillage skin that starts where your boob is supposed to end and just hangs there, wrapping itself like an unwanted hug to where my back starts. How to i account for this when measuring? How do i measure without a bra on? How accurate will it be without a bra on? My boobs have never been perky, I've always been a big girl, they've always been saggy even as a kid. They are now even more extremely saggy since the weight loss. I used to be a full DDD and now i just have these pancakes that are jiggly like melting jello 😢😅 Please... can you provide any advice or tips? I just want a few real bras to help me feel sexy again and my guessed size cheap sports bra isn't cutting it. Thanks so much! I'm going to check your website now!
