Amazing Stingray City in Cayman from Odessa

- We stopped in to Grand Cayman to fix some things on Odessa... a lovely place to be stuck waiting for parts, and the best is Stingray City. The kids finished their home school early so that we could be the first to the sand bar.
Congratulations... now your adventure moves from the couch to the real world.

@kidthing1119 - yes, we're enjoying life to it's fullest. Odessa is a MacGregor 65, which is the cheapest 65' sailboat you'll find. They are grossly underrated and in fact highly capable, very very fast blue water boats. Thanks for the like... we really want to help people get off the couch and live their lives.. if they want too. The dream is alive and we've so many families with younger kids than ours... all sailing about the world exploring, getting into adventures.
@kidthing1119 - money is in the mind mate. We do it with very little money and work as we go. If you save money, then you mustn't spend it or you'll simply run out.... we see many people give up because they ran out of money. We are a family of 5 and have room for three more guests. Be proud, we love the Coast Guard... nothing like the sight of you guys when we're out in the middle of nowhere and the weather is bad... it's very comforting to know you're there if we need you.
What type of boat and what size is odessa? sounds like your kids and you are living the dream! great videos!
@alvinski100 Its definitly something i dream of doing, but being on a coast guards salary doesnt get me far. By the way, how many beds are on it and how many people do you sleep on there every night?
