I just want to add that she initiated contact frequently. It's not that we didn't talk, I just not initiated contact.
She gradually lost that dumpers arrogance, became more humble and then eventually became emotional, saying she misses me.
So, she texted me, then 2days will pass, sometimes 5 days, 10 days.... But I held my ground, I didnt initiate contact.
I really hope I have this same result im really struggling at the moment its nearly a month since she broke up with me and im really struggling to find the will to live 💔 😭😭😭

Kyle Stewart yeah man. This is really hard. The girl I thought I was going to marry left me OUT OF NOWHERE. She started antidepressants and changed as a person. Became super disconnected. I fought for her for a couple weeks just getting my heart tore out and pushing her away further. Then I do no contact and implement all of coach Lee’s breakup kit and she reached out. We started talking again, hooked up, and it was “I love you, I missed you” etc etc super emotional, and then boom... back to her saying “I don’t want to be with you right now, maybe down the road but right now I don’t want you setting expectations” and then she pulls away, texts rarely, doesn’t offer to hangout etc. man I just can’t do it, it’s tearing my heart out and starting to become a major health concern. It’s 3 days now since I told her I can’t do this it’s not good for me, and she said well take all the time you need, I’m sad, but I understand. Man she’s just in a different place to where she could take or leave it, I am just not there. I’m still in love with her. So, anyway... I can’t stop thinking about other men being with her.
Jay T go cold as the saying god fake it til you make it my story is similar but never ever lower your self worth to beg for another human being regardless of how you feel about them show her you don’t care. Start not answering texts within reason she’s I singing you for validation and then changes her mind no one deserves to be treated like that and it shows the sort of person she is if she cared like you do yous would be together

Today is 6 weeks since the breakup/no contact. Its gotten a lot easier and I've pursued new hobbies and financial stability.
To those struggling with no contact, you are not alone, we are all going through this. Don't contact them, don't let your time be for nothing. Focus on yourself, pursue others.

Update 21 Oct: she texted me last night about something she saw on Facebook, should I respond at all??
Update 15 November 2020: she finally did it. She broke down crying and calling me wishing that I'd take her back. She said it was the worst mistake she'd made and how her life was fucked up without me.
Moral of the story: wait long enough, they'll come back. When they do it'll be up to you to take THEM back. If they don't ever come back, its okay to move on :)

@@Nimbus3690 in total we were separated roughly 10 weeks, so about 2.5 months. Don't count the days, just try to look ahead and build YOUR future. They'll come back eventually. If they don't, thats not a big deal, because you're building YOUR future.

Me too lol, I got broken up with last week and started using no contact and on Saturday she contacted me with “Heyyy, how are you?” We talked then it ended with nothing big, then on Monday she posted a picture on Instagram of herself with a caption “Your loss”, I don’t get how it’s my loss if I wanted us to stay together and I begged and texted me to why she was breaking up and to give me another chance but all she said was “I think it’s our time” and all this other bs like it’s not you it’s me and I need time. I really hope you see this and can help me out! I have been watching your videos like crazy for over a year now. I'll try to keep this short. June 2019 my ex broke up with me. I cried and begged for maybe 2 days. He is the one who insisted on friendship. He called and messaged me every day. So I never ignored him. We just became "friends with benefits" and finally 2 months ago he was talking about hanging out with one of his co workers (who is a female) and I just couldn't hold it in. I told him I still loved him and that I could not continue to be "friends" with him. He asked me if we could still talk every day. I said no because then we would just continue this cycle that we've been going through for the past year. I immediately went into no contact and he ended up coming to my house 5 weeks later with supplies because our town was affected by a fire. I was nice and polite and thanked him and we talked for about 30 minutes. Just about random things. Then I went straight back into no contact, and it has now been 3 weeks since we interacted. Anyway, I just want to know what your opinion and thoughts are.. do I still have a chance? Did I mess it all up by accepting "friendship" for almost a year?

I think every relationship is going to have hardships and trials, but naturally it takes two to tango and if someone's still immature and unwilling to work through those hard times, they need to learn and mature and grow. Sadly, sometimes that requires the pain and hurt of a breakup. But like any rough moment in life, we can come out on top and become better people for it.
@@Sorenthazi agree with you, every breakups are different, it maybe that you are the problem, and the cause of the breakup, but NC helps you to work on your areas of improvement and mistakes, so that when they came back. You know what to do and it will be stronger than before.

After my ex broke up with me, I went into no contact straight away. It was really hard and i wanted to break NC so many times.. but watching coach lee’s videos really helped me feel like and know that what i’m doing is the right thing. After 37 days of NC my ex texted me out of the blue yesterday. The texting is kind of slow but at this point i’ve been doing amazing by myself and NC has helped me realise that i really dont need anyone elses validation but my own! My ex and I are planning to meet up some time soon, which will be nice to see him but NC has helped me realise that whatever happens if we end up together again or not, I’m pretty content with where i’m at in my journey now of self-love! Just feels like a gamble. From my experience being dumped, none have contacted me back. NC is just a means to heal yourself rather than to get an ex back. The results may vary depending on what relationship you had but this is just my experience. One should never attempt NC to get an ex back. Getting them back might as well be a happy side effect of it. NC is meant for self healing

No offense but you're wrong! It's not a case of one or the other. No Contact WORKS FOR BOTH. Lee never said it works every time because nothing works every time. But when you're the one hurting, loving, aching, and wondering what happened and they're the one doing the leaving then NO CONTACT ABSOLUTELY DOES WORK better than any other approach. Namely because if you were the overly emotional one in the relationship it's a HUGE sign that you overinflated their ego while minimizing your own worth. NO CONTACT can be a very important shock to their system that jolts them back to the reality that YOU DON'T ACTUALLY NEED THEM to have meaning and purpose. It also recalibrates their own pompous delusional feeling of superiority that you likely played a huge role in building up for them by tolerating disrespect and making them the center of your rather empty universe. BUT when you go cold NO CONTACT you force them to suddenly be without a massive source of their own self-love - and you regain a large portion of your own dignity and self respect which not only makes the loss easier to endure - it makes you instantly more attractive to the other person who in many cases is learning that life without you and your constant worship isn't as easy as they imagined back when they were convincing themselves over time that they were way too good to be with someone as hopelessly pitifully in love with them as you were. Most of the cases when it doesn't work involves there being another person who was in reality the main motivation for them leaving to begin with regardless of what they told you at the time. Sometimes - not always - but sometimes when there is someone else it can take longer for the limerance to wear off the new relationship so No Contact might appear not to work - but in those cases - there was nothing you could have done anyway, but at least if you follow Lee's advice you'll have rebuilt some self-worth and be stronger and wiser next time. No offense - but you do no one any favors getting on here and making a comment about No Contact not working or not something you'd recommend. Because it's been proven to be the single best chance people have if there's any chance at all. Wish you the best of luck though.

I had the same suspicions as you that i made her feel very special yet she thought she deserved more: she thought she could get a man who would be head over heels to her and expected me to bring down the mountains for her.
I tried to explain to her i'd do everything for her only if she reciprocates but to no avail. Finally she dumped me supposedly for another man. Idk if she lied r told the truth but i know for sure she is learning the hard way how good it was when i made her feel beautiful and happy and how miserable she is now. Been doing No Contact for almost 2 weeks now. keep pushing through everyone! We got this! My ex has refused to talk about the breakup and didn’t even want to talk to me in person after he walked out on me. He kept his favorite photo of us in a frame even though I got my other stuff back.
Let them miss you b/c the dumper chose to walk out. Not the one who was dumped, be determined and keep pushing forward. Like Coach Lee has said- “Time is part of the equation”!

Let me tell you guys a true story.
8 months ago i was so broken and depressed cause i broke up with my girl, i used to even watch all of these videos back then. Now I moved to a new place, got shredded and everything is going good! Well guess who called me last night? yep my god damn ex. She told me she regrets the break up and alot of things.

Please listen to me. I've chased my ex for over a year! Sent him gifts, writting letters, coming to his house. He ended up hating me. I lost all respect for myself. Never chase! Please listen to coach Lee. Even if your won't come back, at least you will have respect for yourself. Maybe I wrote it before, but. I want you to learn from my mistakes. If you will reach out to your ex, you will feel worse. They will ignore you or feel sorry for you.
Was in a four year relationship and after 5 days of no contact I got a very negative response knowing I shouldn't of reached out I am going right back into no contact. Hopefully it all will work out! She went to a college in Ohio and i was in Maryland, im still in college and she just graduated, she had a loss of attraction towards me because i became very angry and rude towards her a lot due to my problems coping with learning I had crohns disease and was trying to overcome it. I really hope the stars align and she can see that I was in pain and worry for myself... It may be best we broke apart to begin a new book with each others, or it could just be another chapter on its way.
I got told that she wasn't happy and wants me to be happy and to let her go I'm blocked everywhere as well after 7 years together really want her back :'(
I am now back on day 2, stay strong, first two weeks are the hardest. I will keep everyone updated on what happens.
I started no contact after I sent a polite goodbye text to her, upon discovering her moving into her ex's house. She didn't have the cheek to tell me that she was back with her ex. Just ghosted me during the lockdown period. 18 months of romance and affection.went down the drain just like that. One month has passed since NC but for me it still hurts like hell. On some days, I felt better and other days I just relapse back to pain. Working out has helped, getting busy has helped. Reminding myself of how cheap and selfish she can be towards me gives some relief. Listening to Coach Lee has been helpful to know exactly what to do. Whether she comes back or not, I am determined to have a better version of me, physically, financially and emotionally. Being dumbed by her can be a blessing in disguise.

These are all hopeful scenarios. Let go of hope. It only serves to consume you and prolong your suffering by keeping you comfortable. Focus on yourself and make yourself attractive (again), to your ex or another person. Stay strong.

Coach Lee is absolutely right that jealousy and dating right after a break up is NOT the right way to go!!!! I did that after 2 weeks of splitting up and it was a terrible idea! I went insane begging and pleading for 2 weeks, didn’t do it right at all. This is the first day of no contact. We have children together, he helps me with certain things as well, so I have no idea how this is going to work. I just pray so hard that it does!!!!!!!
I noticed many dumpers after a breakup will try to keep the contact, maybe pull the other side into a friendzone. They need them but don't want them. So the power of no contact is to take them such opportunity away.

Thanks for all the videos Coach, they have helped me over the last month after a breakup. I immediately went into no contact after giving a bit of push back, that was for 34 days ago. I've decided to give it a full 60 days of NC and if I don't hear from her I will consider the relationship a lesson to improve the next.

I was emotional and stated the fact that I didn't want the breakup for a couple of days but when she said that she didn't think she wanted to make a go of it I backed away. No begging or pleading, no late night phone calls or texts, I just walked away with her looking at me from the window waving me goodbye. It's been hard but I'm proud of myself for the way I have managed NC. I think she will have been missing me more for it and the way I see it is that I deserve better.

We were so close she was my best friend. She did become cold towards me which made it harder for me to heal but it’s been 3 months since the break up so I am doing better but the thoughts suck. @@bullsfan6965 sure, so unfortunately after 10 weeks of no contact I had to break it because I had to get some of my things from her place which were pretty expensive lol. We did have a little chat catching up but nothing about the relationship. I know that she’s extremely busy and tired with university so I tried to keep it casual, It does suck breaking no contact cause it gets you thinking again and it puts you back as if you’ve just broken up. But I am doing better. kinda losing hope as time goes on but life is unpredictable so who knows what’ll happen between us. Again I don’t see us getting back anytime soon , she made that pretty clear. It feels like she doesn’t care about me anymore but that’s just the voice in my head messing with me. we knew each other since middle school and we do have mutual friends so we’ll definitely hangout together again but Idk how that will go lol. Everyone that she was related to were so welcoming and caring to me, especially her mom. She said that i can stop by anytime at their place but I only did because I was with her. I truly want to apologize to her one last time but idk if i should. I begged and pleaded from July till September. I hurt her feelings and made her feel trapped. She said that she doesn’t want to talk about it anymore and I don’t either but i feel guilty man 😔 we will see each other again on thanksgiving. Coach Lee, you make a lot of great points. The one very targeted case that your videos do not explain, is the case when the dump occurs due to cheating. It would be great if you could do a video of no contact, and how it applies to the person who got broken up with due to cheating. That is going to help many guys, because frankly, a lot of the breakups guys are experiencing may be due to that case.

I come to your videos as inspiration. It has been one month since she broke up with me. I did the wrong thing be begging her back. I have now 2 weeks of no contact. She has reached out to me one time every week. I didn't ignore her. But I respectfully talk to her without bringing up the relationship. While I have hope on being with her. I have put myself into counseling to work on my faults that I brought to the relationship.

14 months in a Long Distance Relationship. After she kept putting it off we met and had a great two week vacation together. However I realized there were red flags from her divorce 5 years previous. Man I wish I had stuck with these videos when I first found them. Guys and gals listen to me. I implemented no contact several times and she started to bite EVERY TIME. I immediately dropped no contact and started to pursue all over again each time and she backed away again and again. I have fully given up and walked away. I think about her everyday and every minute and still have hope, but I know that if I would have stayed the course to the exact detail there is no doubt we would be back together. I take this as a lesson and hope you all stick with it regardless if they come back or not.

It's hard when you are in LDR. What makes it harder is when your (ex) partner has trust issues.
He told me that he thought it's best to break up. He misunderstood my words. He only listened to himself. I can't withstand his negative words and won't tolerate disrespect, too. I decided to give it to him so it's kind of a mutual agreement though he did that out of "anger" and I, out of frustration and disappointment.
Even if we're given a chance to be together again, I believe he has to work on his trust issues. He has lots of insecurities. Even I shower him love, affection, and care, he will still feel unloved. He needs to heal himself first. So yeah, this break-up is good for both of us.

We broke up a month ago. The relationship was about 5yrs, and It had a lot of ups and downs, very good moments and very bad moments. We have had no contact for about 4 days, because I kept reaching out to make sure all my stuff was moved out and that we had separated our expenses etc. I said goodbye to our dogs because I didn’t want to have that awkward contact down the road. I got dumped in June 2020. We dated for 3 and a half years. Things go rocky during the coronavirus lockdown here. She was not allowed to see me because her parents would not allow her outside whatsoever. Her parents have always been an issue but it quickly escalated during the lockdown because i was upset I could not see her and I know I should have remained supportive of her but the one issue made me blind to everything so good about her. They did not know we were dating so I was not able to go over.. She's 24 and I'm 25. I went into no contact right after the break up, no begging or pleading at all during or after the break up but i did tell her I did not want it of course. I reached out three months later casually but could not get the ball rolling and now I'm back in no contact.
I truly believe she made a mistake and find it odd that this one issue was able to tear us apart. I really hope she realizes that she was wrong and to give me a second chance, but at this point that's all I can do. Am a dumb for holding on? maybe. @Jack we are both 33. We have 2 children together, so we still have some sort of contact. I also do not have a car, so he helps me get to places I need to go. So, it’s very difficult to cut off contact completely. We both were unfaithful. I have forgiven, but he is very resentful.
@@jessicadavis4163 You should be doing limited contact which basicaly entails only communicating about the kids, bills, or other important things that have to be spoken about. I take it he broke up with you? I would recommend getting ubers or public transport instead of asking for a ride to places if possible, as if you rely on him for transport, this puts you in the weaker position and makes it harder to get him back. Who was unfaithful first? Men often find it alot harder to come to terms with unfaithfulness than women and therefor he will probably need alot more time to come around

Coach Lee, I broke up with my ex 7 months ago. We kept in contact for awhile and went I into NC from October 22, and she texted me on 30th telling me that she misses me hardcore. We kept again and she wanted me to move back with her as a roommate but she stated that she didn't want me talking or dating other women because it would affect her. On November 17th I got drunk and told her that it was a terrible idea for me to move in with her as a roommate. After an hour of conversation she texted me the next morning telling me she was hysterically crying the night before. Then she told me she needed space and I kind of got upset about it and I told her to remove pictures from her Facebook and she didn't want too but she did so anyway. She called me on the 22nd of December just days ago and she talked to me about this new guy she started dating from New York. My heart is shattered and I decided to finally go into NC since that day. It's been the worst feeling since, but I just wished I didn't tell her to delete the pictures of us, because now the rebound doesn't get to see them 😢😢😢
