3 Hurricane Prep Tips for Your Camper
Переглядів 2614 днів тому
As #HurricanMilton approaches in Florida, here are 3 tips to prep your travel trailer: 1) Make sure that you are using a surge protector when plugging in your trailer, this will protect it from any potential power outages that may occur and allow you to safely charge your battery. 2) Parking location is key! If you have a trailer small enough to park inside of your garage or if you have a desig...

8 Annual Florida Egg Rally & S’more recap!
would have loved to see this video in landscape mode...
@@infoophirian5432 we can make that happen! 🫶🏻
😂😂😂😂
Looks fantastic and I love that you painted the door to match. I noticed on the new Scamp Lite the door just looks odd being white while the bottom portion of the camper is a specific color. The door should match. Nice upgrades all around.
@@siriusmac thanks so much! This was a fun project!
🤣🤣🤣🤣💀💀💀💀💀💀💀no lie
I'm dying LMAO😂😂😂😅😅😅
Awful music
I want a Scamp so badly! They are so freakin' adorable 😍
Heck Yeah, Great job on the paint. it does make it look really unique. I noticed Scamp is doing colored bottoms now on the Scamp Lite.
How did you make the front dinette
I took out the front bunk and cut it and re fiberglass end it then made an insert for the table top.
@@retrorenos That is insane. I plan on doing this ASAP. I need it for Gaming
I for one looooveeee it!
Anybody know how wide the entrance way/door is on a scamp I cannot find it on the Internet.
What is the GVWR for each bed set up. Love the new white interior option. Is there an option for dometic 2 burner recessed cook top? The raised one kinda wastes precious counter space.
How much
That's an ok trailer! I'm from the UK & that would sell well,it's minimum of what you need, a good thing to sleep 2 easy for a week away for a low cost.
Wished you had shown inside all the cabinets.
@@Carolina-ln7bi thanks for the feedback! We can definitely include that in our next tour video. ☺️
New? bought a used 2023 13ft and just undercoated the entire underside...................seems the factory could have done this......wonder if the quality is there
Who to get in contact with you guys ?
I’m curious if you guys have tried bedliner on the interior, seems like it would provide some insulation, but also substantially more strength.
BACK UP CAMERAS 🎥 Let's be real, we all are not always the best as backing in trailers, its okay-we don't make fun of that over here! We actually teach trailer driving lessons should you be in need of learning a new skill. ;) A back-up camera is an easy upgrade that brings your value up if you have an older trailer that did not come with one as a standard option.
NEW AXLE 🛞 This is also a frequent update that comes through our shop and a very important one! The fiberglass shell itself lasts for a lifetime, the axle however does not. If you have an older trailer and see the shell start to show signs of sagging over the tires, it might be time for an update. A new axle will make your camper stand tall and add another 10-15 years depending on frequency of use.
FLOORING 🪵 This is probably our most popular update, not only is it cost effective given the small amount of flooring that we are swapping out, it truly elevates the space! We always recommend LVP flooring so it lasts many years and trips and for how lightweight of a material it is. This service also allows us the opportunity to check out your subfloor and make sure there are no hidden moisture intrusion spots and if there are, we are already in there to replace that as well!
CUSTOM PAINT (INSIDE & OUT) 🎨 This upgrade is where we really see your personality shine! We have done some really fun color combinations both inside and out on many different types of travel trailers. We have had clients match their exterior camper color to the exact color of their towing vehicle which makes it an even cooler asset as now you have a matching set should you one day want to sell both as a package! We are a big fan of the two tone paint jobs and seeing darker, more unique colors on the interior fiberglass components like the kitchen and bunk sections. Our favorite that we have seen (and done) so far is a deep forest green!
CREATE MORE COUNTER SPACE This is a fun one! As camping peeps ourselves, we don't actually often use the stovetop inside of the trailer- we prefer to utilize a Coleman, Blackstone or humble crockpot outside! Less mess and no over-powering aromas inside your sleeping-space. We do however love maximizing the storage spaces inside as best as we can so we often like to delete the stove top and replace with a smooth countertop material, one of our favorites being a beautifully stained butcher block. This allows more room and open space for dishes, snacks or decor!
BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS 🔊 You can't go camping without tunes! A lot of newer travel trailers come with amazing speaker systems (like our brand new Escape Trailers!) so this is not a needed update if you are an owner of a newer model camper. If you have a vintage camper, and yes-even the 90s versions are starting to be considered, "vintage", this could be an update for you. We use a system that allows for your phone to hook up to it via bluetooth and the output speaker is on the exterior, letting you be the DJ for your campsite.
Good job brother. Just an FYI - I'd lean more towards replacing that floor with corrugated aluminum floor panels.
Fridge and kitchen inside the cabin is bad for bear country. Cooking inside a very small camper means grease everywhere, quickly. Bathroom inside a small camper means you will smell shit and extra maintenance. And all of this takes valuable space for the most valuable item in the camper. The sleeping cabin. Luckily the bathroom is optional. People see this and they're like oh wow looks amazing!. But MOST people who have been camping for years prefer to cook outside. Indoor bathroom is a 50/50 thing. 100% of people want to sleep warm and cozy though.
You got the RIGHT Idea❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love it❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Sweet ride sweet trailer and great music what more can you ask for on a road trip. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🧛

I want one 😭
Im waiting for the 2025 to come out❤
Hätte gerne von innen gesehen.
I just bought a 1978 Burro. I can't wait to see yours! Haha I am having a hard time finding new windows.
How did you take the handle off?
As he said “cut it off “
That deserves a “holy chit” for sure…..beautiful job…
Do you have advice/suggestions on how to remove the sub flooring?
A few pry bars. And a few different saws
I'd love to have one, but I have a 1500 lb limit
Nice but expensive for it's size...
God is Great Always!!!
Did you have to vent the air conditioner in its now location? And what did you use the old space for?
How much did this cost to do?
What an amazing idea. God bless you two for many years to come!
Can you pull these with a 4 door Jeep Wrangler?
You sure can!
The music made me x it out. Way too loud
All good sorry to hear that
Man it ain’t that loud.
I have a Scamp and will be adding the same fan. I don't have carpet/insulation on the walls and ceiling, just painted fiberglass shell. So do i do it the same way but use rivets since i don't have the wooden frame? The inside trim ring would be cut down just like yours as well?
I would build a 1in frame around it if I was you for that. So the trim lays flat
@@retrorenos Frame on the inside? Would you glue it to the ceiling or something? Thanks!
@@lyubli71 I would hold it up and have someone on the outside where the fan has hose for rivets or screws and put some log enough screws through to catch the trim probably only 4 long screws
Too bad the frige door is hinged on the left😮
