  • HİBEŞ is a wonderful appetizer that you can dip your vegetables in or spread on a piece of bread. Perfect for parties and picnics. Ready in no time!
    HİBEŞ
    INGREDIENTS:
    Tahini 250 ml.
    Garlic 2-3 cloves (crushed)
    Lemon 2 (juice)
    Cumin 2 tablespoons
    Ground red pepper 2 tablespoons
    Crushed red chili pepper 1 coffee spoon
    Salt 1 coffee spoon (per taste)
    Water 150 ml. (more if needed)
    HOW TO MAKE:
    Put the tahini in a bowl. Add the crushed garlic and the spices (Cumin, ground red pepper, crushed red chili pepper, salt) and mix well. Then start adding the lemon juice gradually. The mixture will become quite thick. Then add water gradually and mix well. When you make sure that all the ingredients are dissolved well and the consistency is runny yet thick, the your HİBEŞ is ready to be served.
    You can simply serve it in a bowl to be eaten as a dip. Or you can spread HİBEŞ on pieces of bread (any type of bread is good but use your favorite one!) and serve at a party. you can decorate it with some parsley or coriandre.

    P.S.: The amount of salt and the other spices depend on your taste , so please taste to make sure that it pleases your taste buds before you serve it! If your children will eat this too, you might want to put less crushed red chili pepper.
