Dhruvam is a contemporary classical music ensemble. We work towards the motto of “Sarvam gnanamayi vidyathe” - which means ‘All that we have to seek in this world resides within us!’. We aim at creating and producing soulful music.
M S Subbulakshmi Amma has been one of our biggest inspirations. Firstly for the soulful musician that she is, and secondly, for her humble personality. Through this video, we would like to pay a tribute to her on the occasion of her 104th birth anniversary.
This is one of the beautifully empowering compositions by Mahakavi Bharathiar. The lyrics of this composition is very close to the motto of dhruvam "sarvam gnanamayi vidyathe". So we wanted to pay tribute to MS Amma with this composition. Hope you all like our attempt.
