That's only your opinion. This album is my new favorite out of all, and I have to disagree on the bop prediction. Bops will instead bring her down , moving backwards, not forward

Same! I adore this album! The first part wasn’t my favourite but when I realised there was more. The second side won me over. It might be even better than Folklore! Definetly not an album for non swifties. She hints at a pot of stuff only her fans would know about. With the lore you just… ahh its a masterpiece!
I love Taylor Swift because she is standing up for women. But that 1830 reference her song writer put in the Amy song is definitely messing up her accolades. Ever since the Beyonce award thing. The black community ain't cool with the civil war reference.
If you listen to the entire song, she's saying that the era was actually NOT good and that nostalgia is a mind trick. I am also not an expert at history or the civil war so am not arguing, just don't see why a lot of people are mad about that line if she's saying it's not good?

So first the reference isn’t in the song “thanK you aIMee”… it’s in “I hate it here”. Second LISTEN TO THE FUCKING SONG AND READ THE LYRICS BEFORE GETTING TRIGGERED. The black community is honestly way over their heads with the victimhood based on something this generation has never even experienced and based on stuff no one has ever said. Did you forget to read?

And plenty still give honest reviews.

They don’t have to give her nice reviews… I mean I adore this album… I don’t review it or am bought but what if I don’t agree with you you’ll automatically think I am. Maybe its just subjective mate.
Yeah, Rolling Stone definitely overhyped the new Taylor Swift album. Calling the 16-track album an "instant classic" and giving it "5 stars". Shades of them saying that about The Who's "It's Hard" album from 1982. I'd give the 16-track album "4 stars" and the full 31-track album "4 stars", as did Rolling Stone. Where Rolling Stone is probably correct, is that because of the scope of this album, it will get favorably re-appraised later on. Much like The Clash's "Sandinista!". And I think Taylor's album is a lot like that Clash album. A very good sprawling mess with many great songs on the album.
I wouldn't call it a mess.
@@PerezHilton Maybe not the 16-track album. But, the 31-track album certainly is. Even just for the scope of it. Even "The Beatles (White Album)" is kind of a sprawling mess. So is Guns N' Roses' "Use Your Illusion I and II" and The Clash's "Sandinista!". But, that's part of the charm I guess.

I’m a metalhead but I’m really respecting and happy for Taylor that’s she’s become a behemoth of cash. She could buy up an entire small town. She’s pretty with picking her outfits out that aren’t smutty. I think considering what’s out there’s she’s probably a safe safe for young women

She influenced our ECONOMY!! My fiance at the time knew about her because of the stock market! She's truly worth ALL the hype and praise. She puts EVERYTHING into what she does and she says everything we wish we had/could say. And I'm 45!😂
I am a huge fan of taylor and LOVE this new album. It's a slow grower like evermore/folklore. Upon first listen, it sounded the same, but the more I listen, the catchier it is. Also, you have to analyze the lyrics for it to be understood.
I agree though - MORE BOPS! I love Jack, but NEED MAX MARTIN! lolol

Its been Swift overkill for a while now. Yes, she's talented, yes she's beautiful, but enough already. As for Rolling Stone, a classic? Clearly the dude doesn't have a clue what classic means.
And max martin isnt giving his music to taylor because she isnt what the kids care about. Sabrina carpenter and olivia wluld get some max before taylor. I have a sense when she decided to go the jack route with willow and all those .,....covid indi tunes, she was strategic in that she realized she wouldn't be able to tour these major songs so why even take them but that was a fail. We have had almost four to five years of taylor cosplaying as phoebe bridgers and the boygenius crew
