I have fallen in love with several new Taylor songs and I totally agree with you about the sameness.
I am taking Ozempic, I had some weight I wanted to lose because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so my weight affects how much pain I can have. Perez, this disease I've struggled with 10years, I swear, is gone. My first prescription got paid for, my refill was rejected and I have to go almost 2 months without it and the pain and swelling all came back. Luckily I found a way to get a generic at a discount, and it has gone away again. It's wild! The medicine I'm supposed to take is a chemo type drug, lots of side effects and at least 2x the price! Anyway, Idk, I thought your enquiring mind would be curious to know!

No, I quit seeing my ra Dr a while back because all he wanted to do was keep me on methotrexate and steroids or humera. Where I live there isn't much choice. If I knew if I kept my weight down wasn't as bad but an extra 20lbs would be. So I got my script from my pa, like I said to get rid of some extra weight, and once I took it all my symptoms went away. And pretty quick, like I didn't know if it was in my head until I couldn't get it and it came back. It has to do with glp drugs control inflammation, which you know is our biggest problem.
@Leah_F I am doing yard work and gardening, I haven't been able to in 10yrs!. Research it, I have and my pa said she had other arthritis patients and they are seeing improvement

The Taylor Swift story reminds me of that "WKRP In Cincinnati" episode about John Lennon's song "Imagine". If you don't like a song or an album, then don't listen to it. But, don't "ruin" it for others.
I really enjoyed this album. Shes matured as an artist. My fave so far.

I think a lot of these “critics” are paid to stir up controversy from Taylor’s own camp, it’s a form of marketing that people still fall for. Do you think that someone who is actually devoted to God is sitting around reading Taylor Swift lyrics??? I think some dork with a laptop and tons of student loan debt took a nice check to make up a story about TS new album to get other bloggers talking about it and using religion now a days gets more clicks.

There were so many wonderful reviews about Taylor's new albums. I think her new album is more mature than other past albums of hers and that's a good thing. Taylor drinks, curses, has fun and so what? She is 34 and not 12. I love these two albums. If parents have young children, the parents should decide if their kids listen to the albums or any albums. It is the parents who raise their children. Taylor is not raising other people's children and is not supposed to be their role model. Taylor can't stay at the 18 year old stage forever and then only young people would listen to teanybobber music. I wouldn't worry about criticism of Taylor's choice of words that disturb some. Not everyone needs to listen to Taylor. Like I said, this was a mature album from Taylor that I liked. More honest too.
Kim got good at ignoring songs about her way back when i hit it first came out all the way to kanyes albums he made ignoring her whilst talking sh!t on her 😂

Should keep in mind that the songs are telling a story about a certain phase in her life when, as shown in the music video and the little sentences spotted in the album, she portrayed herself as being chaotic and out of her mind and not right, like in an asylum. So makes sense that she then would use these words and have such extreme thoughts, but as the poem she wrote at the end of the album says, she wrote this "story" to get it out there and to close and bury this chapter of her life forever. She's now finished with the acceptance phase, and has moved on. Therefore, those snowflakes shouldn't just take it as she promoting or teaching people that it's right, she's just revealing a part of her life she didn't like herself either, as stated in that end poem. Get the whole picture before coming to conclusions.

I disagree with Kim not caring lol. Even her sources have spoken out about it. She’s not gonna speak on it because Taylor is bigger than Kim. She’s silent bc she won’t win this and if you’ll recall, Kim was a bully who lied, committed the crime of editing and releasing an unauthorized video, and never apologized. Madonna’s sales aren’t going to compare to Taylor’s sales because the population has tripled since then. That’s not really a fair comparison.
Well, even if you triple Madonna's first week debuts, Taylor still is outselling Madonna at her highest points.
Common sense that the 2 cannot be compared. There was no social media when Madonna came out. It was radio, MTV or buying a physical copy.
No, population has not tripled, US grows at O.5%, world at 0.8% per year. Generational music stars like Beatles and MJ album numbers are still high for current era. Taylor is a generational music star too- whether you like her music or not- and her numbers attest to that.

TS ‘s parents didn’t drop her off at the doorstep of the music industry , like it was a life long day care till she turned and 18!! They have been by her side every step of the way!!
They are part of TS team. She has a very close meaningful true real relationship with her parents!
Many young artist fall into a trap of owing their label money tons of money when there contract is up! Due to money forwarded to them in the beginning of their contracts.
Her mother and father were both in the financial sphere in their careers and did very well . There’s was no way they were going to let her fall into that trap.
They kept an eye on the books . They did!!! Not only people they hired to help but they rechecked those people. So no one was getting away with anything .
Not yo mention they were there for emotional support the best they could which J think kept her from falling the drug, alcohol , and the mess that’s looming over Diddys head , where people like Justin Bieber possibly fell prey to from not having a parent around .
Her dad wasn’t having any of that. IMO!
They have always been front and center in her career from day one!
Now I am not saying that were. able to save her from every bad thing that can when we are growing up!
She had a problem with an eating disorder which a lot of people have a very hard time kicking !! It’s an addiction !
But as we can see she has faired. very well with battling it and I haven’t seen her as skinny as she was during.
that time period where you could clearly see she was WAY to skinny for her height!! She says when she was preforming and starving herself, she always felt like she was going to pass out but she thought it was normal because that is what you need to do for the critics not to bash you for what they considered to heavy . You are liked better if you’re really really skinny!
So I am not saying her parents were able to keep her from all the demons that come along with the industry, but she has faired better then any other child celebrity and so has Selena and I believe it’s because they’re parents were and still are involved in their lives and they were still able to form that bond throughout their career because they were present!
One other thing ! It doesn’t matter what or who doesn’t think that T.S. doesn’t have a great voice, or can’t dance like Beyoncé etc.
This repeated fallacy that TS is the biggest pop star in the planet or when she was climbing the ladder it’s only because she’s been over exposed or like you thinking she did something compromising to boost her career! When are people going to let go of that. It’s been almost 20 years.
That crap started when West took the mic out of her hand . Oh that made her more famous. Her first tour, before that ever happened , was selling in 30 seconds flat! She had received numerous awards before that incident!
She was the first young female country artist to garner that demographic of young girls in the country music industry. Those same young girls who are now married with kids, the majority have never left her fan base! Now their daughters and sons, are going to see her in concert. together!
Did anyone ever stop to think the reason. she had such a big fan base is because she does not have a Whitney, Maria, Beyoncé, Christine Aquilara ( ?) voice.
She sings about emotions everyone experiences during heartbreak and good times in relationships and her vocals etc aren’t so out of reach that her fans as her career progressed, didn’t find it impossible to see themselves being successful!
People don’t buy concert tickets and albums because a. artist is so called “ overexposed”
TS needing exposure to boost her career ended a long time ago!!!
All she has to do is make a post and her hundreds of millions of fans world wide spread it like wild fire and that’s how the media finds out about it!

It’s not a conspiracy that when celebrities don’t do what they are told, they’re dealt with. I don’t think her music is garbage but I definitely don’t think she’s a “brilliant lyricist”. It’s basic teeny bopper heart break music with computer generated beats. Her parents may have been next to her throughout her career but that doesn’t mean they have the best intentions, look what happened to Britney Spears. Who is TS outside of the heartbroken victim role she’s played for years?? What was her music like BEFORE all her hit songs about her ex’s??
