You know you can just pause it or stop matches and go do chores or whatever around the house and then get back to it? Just cause ya grow up and have to act like an adult now doesn't mean you have to be one 24/7? Just spread your time out better and take breaks here and there. I definitely wish that I just stuck to video games instead of partying in the past it wasn't worth it. I admit I would be so much further in my career 😂 and no Rehab and starting over
I recently started gaming and it’s such a nice way to chill out. Also, very rewarding when you struggle with a level and then can get to point where you pass it. Obviously it’s the last thing I do before work and my daily disciplines, but I’m really enjoying adding this activity to my life!
Love how this is a subject and they apparently abolished the slave trade.. I have a fun fact for you in England, working class Peasants in the UK sub 1800s had 130 days off per year.. companies now only allow a max of 28.. you have less time off than a peasant here now..
I couldn't play or buy video games as a kid. So mostly my friends used to give me games in a drive (pirated ones, I had no idea back then that the games were pirated). Got a job after college bought the ps5 and now I can proudly say - This is relatable
Thats the goal most weekends for most of gamers. True and only apriciated after later for me. When i look back weeks later. Im like yeah that was a chill night of gaming. Solid time spent.

Could have had dozens of people tell you that before you started. Fun fact: getting into the entertainment industry is dealing with A LOT of shit that isn't to your taste. Doesn't matter what facet you choose. Music, literature, gaming, movies / TV. Hell, even sports writers and broadcasters get it. It's not about having the best time all the time. It's the realization that your hobby pays your bills and that you keep saying yes to new opportunities. You make it work, and eventually it might turn out where you can focus a bit more on top games you enjoy more, but narrowing your viewpoint or focusing on what you don't like too much is going to either burn you out or straight up get prevent you from living. Side hustle. Do extra shit on the side. If you want to talk about games YOU like, make your own YT channel. Maybe blog. Hustle that shit and use it to improve yourself. I like clothes and I dress up whenever I get the chance to. Now I've made that my living. Bought myself a PS5 and a new living room set up (75" TV included) for Xmas two years ago. I didn't do that because I save the most money or sell the most product. I do it because I like SOME of what I do enough to get better at it all the time, play up to my strengths, and hustle my ass off. And hey, not saying that playing just the games you like will make you enough money on it's own some day. I'm just saying, if you can do that AND get something more worthwhile than time spent out of it, then that could easily translate into a better time at your "real job".
