This was beautiful.
@@scharlesscalvin He was a military ruler, they believe in “bend to my will or die” and are generally not people you want in charge of your civilisation.
Ize's strategy almost worked, but he's the kind of person i wouldn't even talk to, even less play with. Also in a three factions game, the first two to fight give a big advantage to the third.
@@KA-zv3yt Sure thing if you target a group that represents a particularly big threat but attacking one, you warn the other and have to either quickly fight the third on a disadvantage or see the third get to your doorstep. That's not even accounting for the fact that you should have losses during your first attack
@@KA-zv3yt While true, that only works in a 1v1 scenario. As soon as a 3rd team is involved, you want to force the other 2 to fight in order to gain an advantage. In winning the build championship, Starkiller did far more to prepare his team for war than ize. Starkiller secured at least 64 diamonds (more if they organized like desert did) and 4 netherite. His leadership gave them a massive lead in terms of resources. Ize was lucky with arctic. They were largely unprepared to fight anything. Desert was organized though and after the initial panic, their victory was inevitable.
The fact that a big portion of Jungle players didnt support Ize and were kinda pacifists and even denied to join the Arctic ambush yet after the success of the Ambush all of them got bloodthirsty and even the player which was always against ize and said stuff like”This is not what Starkiller wouldve done” turned to “He is a good guy but im glad he died” shows us a lot about how people can be easily manipulated and misguieded by greed.Great video as always!
The issue was that Ize didn’t have any leadership qualities, he was a fighter who wanted to be in charge. He didn’t have the respect or the support of the group because of his poor communication skills, greed and his behaviour. Had Ize been a better leader the entire group would have followed him into battle but he had no idea how to inspire this. Even when you hate your leader, it is only natural for you to want your group to win still. We see this with countries in sporting events where sports people will protest their leader or actions of their leaders but they don’t throw the game or sit it out. Even soldiers will go to war for causes they do not believe in if they think the alternative is the destruction or invasion of their home country. Overall, Ize got very far in terms of personal gain through deception, greed and aggression but ultimately didn’t know what to do with power, something we see time and time again in history with leaders who choose violence over democracy.
Well to be honest there, this wasn't about moralls. It was about the lack of intelligence or rather the tunnel vision if the Jungles King. You see. What he should have done was, going back to their first island (Im going to turn off grammar for this comment as it would consume too much of my energy (english is one of my main languages)) and making an assassin strategy. Making 3 Major Builds. 1. A Castle, compact and easily defendable. 2. A Sky plane army with tnt or a sky ambush with tnt (Air Superiority). 3. Underwater Ambush Cells with the weakest players as sacrifice while the strongest wait for the right oppurtunity to ambush from the sky. That and making a trap for a grand sacrifice. They after building the castle should put all their valued items into on location that is going to explode and using 2 Sacrifices to reverse manipulate them into believing that there is the place. The leader thought that his core advantage was his gear. That mindset was also his biggest downfall. You see, the gear wasn't really the thing that made him so strong. It was the fact that he had alot of power under his Suboridnates. Moralls aren't really the thing that is going to make you win. neither is being reckless or pacifist. It is pure intelligence (Doesn't mean that you can't be strong and geared at the same time have good gear).
Ize was mad at starkiller for acting like he owns everything when Ize tried to do the same thing, but starkiller was with the team way longer land actually did something. Ize was talking all that "your gonna get 2 hit I'm full diamond" where was that when the other teams started jumping you and the team you forced to vote for didn't trust you. Fear doesn't always work
I'm not gonna leave a Like because you're at 69 likes and it would be wrong to change that. I agree with you completely though. Starkiller saved his people from the hunger phase, he organized everyone for the build contest and caused them to win that contest, he was super supportive and chill with everyone. He had a very positive take charge attitude about things. He wasnt SEEKING leadership, its just that everyone WANTED him to lead. Ize wanted to lead from the start. he went off on his own and abandoned his team to seek out the best armor, hoarded resources, stole resources, manipulated people. Ize was a real bastard here. If I were there I probably woulda called him out on all this and said "Here's an idea, if you're so worried about the king being 2 shot, why dont we all kill YOU and TAKE YOUR armor and give it to the leader huh?" Dude was a total "I'm in charge at all costs" and thats ultimately why they lost. His war mongering ways cost jungle too much in their assault against the Arctic.
Ize sucks the fun out of everything Everyone else is there to have a good time Hes there to go "im a really good pvp player!! Look at me and my accent! I'm gonna force myself to the top!!"
General soup. 1.Cared for his people 2.lost everything to the jungle and developed a hatred that caused him to commit several warcrimes 3. Hatred for the enemy turned into greed and a desire to win 4. Betrayed the desert and teamed up with the most dangerous man on the server despite of the pain he caused. And died like a fool. *Truly a tragic villain* EDIT: wtf 1k likes????
Unlike most civilization videos where the main antagonist is not usually a villain, Ize is truly a villain lmao sucks how he never truly changed in other videos
I love how the different civilizations have different personalities. The arctic kingdom was more laid back and not really serious about the challenge. They were just there to have fun The desert kingdom was more serious and organized. They were smart and knew what to do The jungle kingdom was a little too invested. They often backstabbed each other and we’re really aggressive with one another
Ize got the Jungle group to wipeout the Artic but as a leader he was honestly a huge asshole and kinda crap. Legit the only reason why he got to where he was was by intimation and his second in command killed Star Killer who wouldn't have lead them as aggressively and would have probably gotten stronger teamwork. Ize definitely should have chilled the heck out, took this far too seriously. I'm actually glad the desert people won.
@@zelithfang2365 dude that happens all the time in history. powerful people in command are very good but obviously they eventually come to an end. in minecraft its actually a good thing someone strong was in command just because you're looking at it in hindsight and waying his mistakes over his successes doesn't change that he actually did good things for the nation
@@Belphemon1 If the rest of the jungle team didn’t stay back at the village and didn’t have the king take time and collect each of them, the jungle team would've been able to blitz the snow team without a doubt. The snow team’s players were given time by the scouts to hide, if the jungle team didn't take so long they could've gotten the sneak attack
i love this. This is a masterpiece. The way the jungle king was confused when a desert member was a zombie and was attacking him was the best, its like a movie scene when a friend come back to life to avenge his nation.
The Jungle Tribe is literally the perfect embodiment of the novel, Lord of the Flies. A civilization in the jungle turned from democracy to a militaristic rule with the collapse of an idealistic leader and his subsequent death. In the end, democracy failed to prevail amidst the violent sentiment and those who turned to the militaristic approach saw a similar fate, with their society eventually crumbling as well.
Arctic was attacked by suprise, so they were quickly killed off, while Jungle did lose some numbers attacking Arctic and that led to them fight Desert in less numbers and so Jungle eventually lost. That Jungle king got point, that the best looted man should be the king with best pvp experience, but should have some leadership and not be outright dumb with just attacking. While StarKiller did lose the election. What is this treatment that you kill the person who lose the election, when why cant he be also part of your clan. The best strategy in my opinion would be going to middle and building big high tower there and then drop lava and tnt and shoot arrows as the other tribes come to attack your tower, when the map border shrinks to end the game in some point.
If I saw Ize spawn on my team, I'd try to kill him in a trap before he has time to inevitably kill our leader, split us up into factions, or bitch us out and defect. He's an active hinderance to his own team every single time. If he's being asked to play the antagonist, he could at least have fun with it like CommonHat. As a villain he's just not fun to watch.
My favorite was desert. They were organized and functioned like a successful group. Jungle was really cool when you’re watching from the outside, but too much backstabbing went on.
I hated the Jungle group. Like… they need to learn from this proverb: “Two in harmony surpasses one in perfection.” A nation divided against itself cannot stand. Their doom was assured by the power hungry dictator
@@nicholass9841 I absolutely loved jungle empire, it reminded me of the Roman Empire. But if I had to actually choose a civilisation to live in, Arctic would’ve been my choice.
Man, the Power-System of Nen from HunterxHunter would be Beyond Perfect for these Simulation-Videos, but unfortunately, i fear Mod's for this are under-developed.
I'd have made a multishot crossbow and Harming II arrows to one tap the motherfucker. Then held an election of my own, with the condition I could remain as military advisor to the King should I not win. Then I'd have used Vietnam guerrilla tactics to do some wipeouts...
Ikr he's also a terrible leader losing two members before even leaving the village and abandoning his army to kill one of his own members just because they were annoying him.
@@friendlycanadian3150 right, I bet after people saw this video I doubt anybody on a faction server would want to team up with him after seeing who he is, I bet he’s still getting hate to this day witch he deserves.
it is literal COPE that im hearing here. He made the enchantment table giving jungle the upperhand in the beginning. and by his leadership and aggresiveness he alsmost wiped out artic in one invasion. If only more junglers wouldnt be such crybabies and want an actual strong leader in this situation they would've had more of a chance winning against two factions.
Ize: "you'll get 2 hit" but still doesn't share his loot, even after becoming a king. At least starkiller contributed as a leader and grouped everyone for the building competition
I honestly can’t decide whether I like the fact that their zombie ended up being a total boss’s, or that jungle initiated the use of political assassination and got away with it
Looking back at this video I didn't realize at first but there was a *Technoblade* reference at 2:20 where Silver says "Lead by the best potato farmer, wait... I read that wrong, the second best potato farmer". If you guys don't get the reference basically Technoblade spent months trying to overcome im_a_squid_kid on the leaderboards for most potatos farmed. Technoblade was a legend amongst Minecraft players since the beginning. I can't believe squid kid was in this video anyways just wanted to put it out there.
Ize was the perfect villain with a perfect story. An ambitious man who became a powerful warrior. If only he had become Starkiller's military general, perhaps they could have won. Instead, his arrogance and greed compelled him to take over the civilization as a tyrannical warlord and seek world domination. The very thing that cause his rise to power resulted in his demise and the destruction of the jungle tribe. While rallying his soldiers, he condemned Starkiller's strategy, of "sitting on the island until everyone else kills each other and they come and slaughter you like pigs", but that very same strategy ended up being the reason the democratic, and relatively peaceful desert tribe won in the end.
To be honest, without Ize the video would have me stop watching not much. that'sBut he added to the content and made people watch to the end so thats a plus
@@mahapatrasohamm Doubtful we didn’t get to half of the days and seeing more and more of the surprises of what each day brings through Challenges would’ve kept you hooked. I like how ize said under the lead of starkiller the jungle would lose and then they lose anyway and the people who did what starkiller probably would have done won.
Nah if the people actully tried they would have won i agree with ize star is a baby and if they had just a little more people they would have easily won
The Jungle Kingdom is a perfect example of the danger of following a bad leader. The majority of the jungle tribe clearly did not really like their leader and did not want to follow him or be violence focused, but they made concession after concession until they were bloodthirsty themselves, eventually leading to their downfall.
I feel like Ize and star killer are a perfect yin and yang when it comes to leaders and organizing a nation. If only Ize took the crown but was only declared military General incharge of the warrior classes while star killer still remaining as president or leader in charge of the miners and famers to gather better resources like more diamonds and fortifying the jungle base. Then with Star killers people skills and having fun and lightening the mood for the builders and resource gatherers and Ize's Strategy of picking off the other nations one by one with his competive serious group everyone could have had a good time while maintaining a damn strong nation. Both leaders had there strengths in weaknesses. After all there's bad in the good and good in the bad. ☯️
No that wouldn't work with a player base of 25 people per team. Jungle's tactics in their game required an "all-in" mindset, which would not succeed with two leaders, even if one is declared in charge over the over. Remember that even with one leader, they almost had to ambush with half their population because the other half wasn't in line. Only through the leadership of one person is any leadership going to have an effect in a small scale game like this. Imagine what would have happened if Ize had only half his forces attack all of Arctic. He would have lost and would have lost his power in the process, while Jungle would lose many warriors for no gain. Because only one leader existed, all of Jungle rallied around Ize in a gamble that succeeded.
@@nathanlucas719 I disagree. Jungle lost due to infighting draining their group initially just so Ize could roleplay as top geared gigachad that can fight. Starkiller was liked because he could raise morale. Ize just grinded day 1 to gear himself and tried to keep the group from being geared initially(until everyone saw he had full enchant and knew he was hoarding gear). Instead of killing your own team members in a game where you KNOW bodies are important because war WILL happen, you should come together. Ize literally mined alone until he was geared and immediately joined the town to take a crown. He didn't want to win he just wanted to be a warleader with 0 leadership skills. Instead of initially weakening their forces, Ize should have taken crown but Star should have led the noncombatants. If they worked together, they could have made it so non combatants built up war machines and castle defenses while Ize geared an elite guerilla force to weaken the other teams. Ize's core group were the people that griefed their own town by killing the only cow and had no qualms killing teammates(especially killing a teammate that came because he heard there was someone trapped underground.) Jungle didn't deserve to win.
@@nathanlucas719 And the gamble ultimately failed. The reason for it's failure is that their reckless plan required them to rout and kill every arctic member so they couldn't join up with the desert and warn them about the attack. They lost like 10 of their attack squad on the way to arctic on top of not being able to finish them all off. Since arctic was already ambushed, it wouldn't work twice if they got to desert before jungle. Jungle did do well to keep pushing their strategy at this point, but they'd already screwed themselves by sacrificing members by going on the offensive when they could have consolidated power and made an unstoppable warband led by two kings.
I love how Abstract died at the beginning, was brought back to life as undead, was paddled all the way too the desert civilization, and at the last battle, he fought by his desert allies even after death, and technically won them the war.
@@strekt8 if you're the person who was in the video, what was your reaction to your undead zombie doing so much? I would've been so mad at myself for dying so early
Kind of funny how "Sitting on the Island eating carrots waiting for the other nations to grow stronger" worked out for the dessert team. That jungle king was to full of himself after finding some diamond.
personally i believe it was a logistics error, the amount they could've won by was lost by his poor planning and the lack of people willing to follow. They took the arctic without much resistance, improving their gear moreso than the desert could've by strictly farming supplies. Its their leaders forest monkey brain that held them back, his decisions werent wrong just poorly implemented.
Gotta love how the logic for picking a leader was based on who had better gear. Even though, when you pick someone to be your king you could give them better equipment to protect them. Does no one know how to share in Minecraft?
I'm surprised Ize got as far as he did. His strategy of leaving during the Blood Moon was a terrible idea that led to unnecessary casualties, and him going back to the village by himself to the people proven to be disloyal to him was a risky move; as even though he had good gear and more health they could have easily just fought him as they greatly outnumbered him. Had a fitting end though.
I hated ize from the beginning, he was so belligerent and selfish, and I’m glad the desert won! That one guy who brought their dead teammate all the way to their new base is the mvp of this series.
@@polaris5135 I like how this experiment and experience with real people had as much depth lore and story elements as a big blockbuster Hollywood franchise
after they won their first fight, the jungle kingdom should've slowed down and re-evaluated their position. If they had waited for just a bit the desert kingdom would've probably finished off the arctic for them. being too aggressive made them lose.
To be fair the aggressive part worked twice. It's the fact that they didn't have a real strategy as they pushed to the desert kingdom. And some idiotic jungle members also didn't help
@@questionabledescisions4149 the jungle kingdom wouldn't have won with ize as their leader. He was far too aggressive and dictatorial for them to succeed. people would undoubtedly not follow him.
A theme for Ize: (Lyrics by Shyseista) Their cries fill the air, music to your ears. Dust spreads everywhere. Why did you come here? With a glare so sharp, paralyzing; Cuts deeper than any knife. Empty homes had left you giggling. You've come to wish them goodnight. With a grin so wide, tantalizing.. Just as empty as your heart. Seeing people quickly scampering... Were you this way at the start? With only one awful goal to reach, you gleefully slash away Every single hope and every dream. Watch their happiness decay. Always having some heroic speech, you don't hesitate to kill. Not at all do you care what they preach. Persist and do what you will. Broken echos, broken echos all around Fading echos, fading echos, not a sound... Oh not a soul to be found.
I really wanted the arctic to live peacefully. Also can we talk about how the jungle had one of the most corrupt leaders out of any civilization in Minecraft ever
Everything about Ize reeks of "I'm the only person who is worthy of everything!" He happily killed a leader who was loved by his pacifist people and who want to be peaceful and killed him for self gain and forced that same peace loving kingdom to their friendly northern counterparts. And all of a sudden Ize wonders why everyone hates him and everyone is out to kill him.
@@randomaccount5736 you know I like ize because of his ways but he was definitely ment to be the 2nd in command fs he was also lucky start and found good gear the players made a good choice about the crown belonging to him but star would have organized so much better and he would have made for a really good warrior not leader

And Silver mentioned that the jungle kingdom "had lore," but so did the desert kingdom, with their temple and necromancy lab! IF anything, they had MORE lore!
I'm totally with u. The jungle dudes had a bunch of structures laying around instead of having actually needed buildings like the mine or the lab like the desert kingdom had!
@@gockar996 if you mean on the same thing in the election. Your wrong they would all want power over each other based on their gear. Most likely leading to them fighting for leadership and two dying. But if you meant for each team. It still wouldn’t end well. The would end up going in and fighting each other as soon as possible. People would be everywhere and the leaders would constantly be threatening those who are busy fighting their own fight to help him/her (who ever the leader would be). It would end with a disaster. The statue killed the second in command general and the zombie helped kill the king and the last jungle player.
Yknow, if Ize actually had a secondary plan other than "burn, maim, kill" he realistically, would have trounced the remaining desert army, even with the artic recruits

I really like the differences between Ize and Star, star was intelligent and had a winning strategy of being peaceful and playing slow and steady, while ize wanted to rush and thought they were invincible. The funny part is how ize at like 28:35 or so says that star would have let everyone else kill each other and then get slaughtered by them. The winning team, the desert, did that exact thing but won. Karma at its finest.
The Jungle Kingdom honestly would've won if they actually had a strategy instead of letting Ize's ego get to him and just straight up charging like he's gonna win a 1 vs 100.
Ize had the strength, just not the brains. One thing i was surprised about was how high the troop morale was, though. I expected an internal conflict that will divide the nation.
Ize was right tho if they waited at their base all game the enemy would be super powerful and they would probably not stand a chance. What they should’ve done is invaded but made a base underground nearby so they could potentially pick them off 1 by 1
straight balance, jungle-diamonds, nezerite desert-diamonds food Arctic- minus people awesome you came up with, judging by the appearance of the village where the construction resources are limited
See, Ize was an ideal warmonger. But he needed to plan out his attacks more than just "they're probably still gathering stuff so we need to attack now." That was a good plan of attack but he didn't account for stronger enemies with more gear than the usual's like the desert had. Also his army didn't believe in him for too long, leading to wavering loyalty and dedication which slipped up the momentum of his attack force
Yes he just was like keep attacking and attacking. He lost men in the process of running to Arctic empire and lost some in fighting Arctic empire, so of course the third party Desert will win, when in multiple tribe games its more of mind game, because you cant be outright stupid and keep attacking to lose a lot men and get third partied, when you need to have control over your men and so let other tribes fight eachother and then come in to finish the winner tribe or build high tower for defensive reasons to watch other tribes fight, while not letting them to come in your tower.

if he hadn't killed him, at that time when a part of the jungle guys refused to attack the ice people and he came back... either he would have been killed, or a civil war would have started, having as leader the Starkiller himself.

I’m so happy Jungle lost. Instead of charging into battle as soon as they got the chance, they should’ve focused on getting better gear and military for their team, but their tyrant king was impatient and cocky and got his whole team killed because of his false confidence
Most of them had great gear and they had the best Military by far but they were killed in the end because of the Desert-Arctic alliance. Sure Ize was cocky but he had the confidence and he didn't get his whole team killed for "false confidence" they only started dying because Desert and Arctic were teaming up and had strategy.
@@primusIIV You could also say the reason they lost was because of their over confidence causing Desert and Artic to ally against them. Dead is dead, losing is losing and no amount of strength or confidence will change it after the fact.

I loved the arctic's spirit, it would've been much more enjoyable to watch the arctic civilization's growth than to watch a rushed invasion in my opinion simply due to ize's temper. And the zombie member was an entire mood lmfaoo

He was a better suited fighter. What Ize didn't understand is a king, while he should be willing to fight, shouldn't just be fighting. He should have been the military leader and like you said, could have had so much more success if he would have been less power hungry.
It was so satisfying to see Ize get a reality check when the desert kingdom began counterattacking and realise that autocratic leadership, deception and tyranny will only get you so far
Ize was annoying but the people in his kingdom were even more annoying, even if your king has a bad idea might as well go as a team and lose then be split up and make more mistakes. Also in a three factions game, the first two to fight give a big advantage to the third.
There is also a first strike advantage better to catch the enemy off guard than fight them at your doorstep
Desert was organized though and after the initial panic, their victory was inevitable.

your a tyrant until you bring success
W

If I were there I probably woulda called him out on all this and said "Here's an idea, if you're so worried about the king being 2 shot, why dont we all kill YOU and TAKE YOUR armor and give it to the leader huh?" Ize was the perfect villain with a perfect story.

thats exactly what i was thinking lol
Ize's core group were the people that griefed their own town by killing the only cow and had no qualms killing teammates(especially killing a teammate that came because he heard there was someone trapped underground.)
Jungle didn't deserve to win.

I'm totally with u. The jungle dudes had a bunch of structures laying around instead of having actually needed buildings like the mine or the lab like the desert kingdom had!

Yeah, the Arctic group could've been so great...

@@IDK-fv3hu Agreed, they definitely had the power to conquer all the kingdoms, if it was done correctly.
If star was the leader and ize was the general they would’ve easily won

awesome you came up with, judging by the appearance of the village where the construction resources are limited
See, Ize was an ideal warmonger. But he needed to plan out his attacks more than just "they're probably still gathering stuff so we need to attack now." That was a good plan of attack but he didn't account for stronger enemies with more gear than the usual's like the desert had. Also his army didn't believe in him for too long, leading to wavering loyalty and dedication which slipped up the momentum of his attack force
he did not have the five heads as described by sun tzu. he dident have the moral law, earth, the commander or method and dicipline.

@@primusIIV True. Also the fact that jungle only had 5 real warriors including the king and the rest were farmers and noobs
Ize overlooked their advantage in resources and numbers, the farmers and miners would've been great suppliers if they stayed in the back. But Ize just rushed them all into battle leading their strongest players to loose their supporters and providers, ultimately leading to their defeat.
