We could all agree that brigley is the best Ninja assassin in this video, sneakily going inside the base of the enemy and destroying their beacon without noticing, nice determination
Honestly, I think if the Roman Army during its peak (Trajan) versus Japan’s samurai in the 1400’s, even with such a large time gap advantage, the Roman will still body the samurai.
I found it kinda funny that Japan literally had a mini sengoku jidai and still won and it was the ninjas the most important fighters in the sengoku era that saved the day in the end Japan ftw
Looking at this from a real historical perspective, the Roman’s would win. The Roman equipment is great against the lightly armored Egyptians and much better than the armor of a samurai. Despite what most people think, samurai are not the best type of warriors. They have armor that is very restrictive and allows them to move very little. That is why their most common weapon was a bow on a horse. A cavalry charge on the armored Romans, is fatal. Not only are the Romans taught discipline and how they must keep the formation, the samurai are more of independent warriors. The way that I see each civilization is different. The Romans are great a war, the Japanese have a lot of culture and the Egyptians have great technology. One more thing, ninjas are not assassins. They are spies. Although they might be assassins, their profession as a ninja is a spy.
You were right about the Samurais but not about The Romans. You see.. the romans have really heavy armor and thats a disadvantage as they move slowly and the egyptians yes they have lighted armor but they also move faster and as you said. A cavalry charge would be a disaster for a roman army. Plus theres a lot of battles of Arab armies vs romans which all proved the superiority of the Arabian knight over the roman knight like Alyarmok battle
