I don't know that I've ever wanted a civilization to win more than I wanted the dwarves to win in this video. Little drama, no backstabbing, just a bunch of brave, wholesome folks willing to fight and die for one another.
The dwarves are the most bonded team from the start and are the smartest, knowing how to coordinate their attacks using teamwork and tunnelling advantage. Not surprised that they won.
Seeing the dwarves not only tactically retreat, but also adapt to their enemy's recklessness and use their own abilities to their advantage was extremely satisfying to say the LEAST
a moment of silence for the dwarf queen, she fought well and led her team to victory. I was really rooting for her as she was the first queen. major respect. also the dwarf guy yelling we got him we got him is such a team player major props for you man 🏆🏆
This actually tells two sides of being a king and leader. One was a wish of just power, like the elf king who just literally kill one member of his team just because he used his mount for a moment. Meanwhile, the dwarf queen when she saw her people being destroy and killed, didnt think twice and decides to sacrifice herserlf gaving her people a chance of winning. Total respect for her
Literally Ize did the exact same thing in the previous video, teamed up with his friends to betray and take control by force, then go on a warmongering path that results in their loss. Once again Starkiller was betrayed, killed, and forgotten about. Starkiller would be rightly be very angry at this happening twice. People should VERY be aware of who Ize is and his friends are and target them out first so they don't try anything.
@@CrimsonDawn-ou4og From what I've been reading from the chat, Ize was putting on an act and he was acting like a villain for content. This actually makes it worse, because he's intentionally staging the events just so the video maker has something to show. Much less creditability can be given to the video maker for allowing this to be a thing. Why not just let the civs develop naturally? We haven't even seen what all the events the admins planned for the players anyway. I rather have a standard, but authentic, simulation video where one team suffers the consequences of not taking event seriously, then having a simulation where one player planned with the video maker to stage artificial drama and tension just for content.
Dwarf queen was my fave but really, I did enjoy these little lusts of power and dirty politics in these civilization series', I couldn't find anything exciting like these ones on other minecraft videos.
Well Dwarves are always portrayed as some of the most steadfast and least prone to betrayal of the 3 races and the tactics shown by them and good leadership winning out is VERY much the Dwarven way.
Legit, Elves boned themselves since Giants were just terrible in fighting against Dwarves and thinning out their own numbers when they had arguably the best traits with magic.
@@kevin2714 ehhh I mean yes and no the Elves traits were strong yes but I viewed that whole thing as a triangle counter. Dwarves beat Giants, Elves beat dwarves and Giants beat Elves trait-wise anyway. Giants could easily have won that if they got their shit together. Elves could have won too but they played harder not smarter. Dwarves played smart and so they won in the end.
I was rooting for the dwarves from the beginning. They had strategic players, proper organization and they used their advantages to the fullest. They had a more peaceful civilization and politics. The other races were voted based on gear. They didn't have any players who just gave up and ran away. They had courage. They had peace. Wow. Didn't expect any likes.
@@derpyduck5207 yeah. tbh tho peace would be my option because combat will lead to less resources, eventually killing everyone off. but when you have no real live consequences for violence, then rip and tear mothafoka
Ok, can we speak about the dwarven queen for a sec? Playing chess while everyone is playing checkers. The dwarves had the best ruler, defenses were logical, they made use of their height PERFECTLY, set traps and etc, immensely satisfying!
She was willing to sacrifice for his people. They wouldn't have followed a normal dwarf but since she was the queen they all followed her that gave the other ones a chance to single out a few. Such an awesome story for Minecraft tbh
YEAH DWARF DESERVED WIN!! They had the best teamwork and cohesion, excellent strategy and their Queen was brilliant, successfully distracting 6 enemies so her team could even the score against them.
Ooh it was so satisfying to see Ize get progressively angrier and finally fall to a team with actual companionship and teamwork. He had it coming so much it was so relieving.
I was rooting for the Dwarves the entire time and Ize felt like such an amazing villain for them. Ironically Ize lost to the people with very like "s"ize
I hate the whole comment section are making the dwarves seem like the best Why the fuck do dwarves have the same hp as a normal size elf it doesnt make any sense specially considering the face that giants are double stronger than a elf If they had less that would make way more sense This video is so stupid
I love that moment where the Elves realize that all their backstabbing, treachery, and attempted conquest means the Dwarves outnumber them and the Giants COMBINED... Purely because they wren't being backstabbing, schemers and were just getting along well. Also appreciate the three instigators in all this ended up effectively being the 'final boss'.
Man, if I'd been on the giant team, I'd NEVER have teamed up with Ize at the end lol. He wiped out most of their team then just wanted to use them for his muscle after realizing his unprovoked attack was a dumb move leaving him with lower numbers. XD
The queen was an absolute badass and died a hero. The dwarves as a whole were quite amazing as a team. I'm impressed they were all able to cooperate at that scale. The other two teams sabotaged themselves way too much. lol
The dwarf queen is one of the best leaders ive seen in these civilization videos. She was quick witted, organized, and brave for her people, but she wasnt blood thirsty and she was able to pick up that the elfs were eventually going to come after them too and tried to help the giants without any material gain. Major respect.
@@pancakemon In my opinion, he only gets invited to mess up his team because, if you've seen the newer videos in the civilization series, he literally always starts a revolution and gets half of his team killed.
I love watching ize lose against the dwarves especially after he sabotaged his own team and how much he says “bro ur gonna get 1 hit” like you had the best gear and still lost 💀😭

@@pizzaguy4134 That’s what decided this game and civ win The two civilizations grew to discourage teamwork and community, preferring to advance themselves alone, and in the end it got them a high place above the pile of corpses of everyone else while the dwarves won
I love how the elves were saying that peace was not a good way to rule and wouldn't let them win, while the dwarves were the most peaceful and ended up winning pretty well.
The dwarves were so wholesome, all the last elves and giants just wanted greed and fame, but the dwarves won by outsmarting and outplaying them. Literally a cinematic masterpiece.
@@ZaiIsQuiteAwkwardTBH strategic planning, you all watch civilization without putting the fact that strategic planning is the best move, you think it's lame but in reality it is the BEST move for a civilization to move forward and conquer their weaknesses.
Idk why 36:06 was my fav moment because it short how something as short as a dwarf which would be seen as a disadvantage turn into an advantage since they litterally had a whole escape route plan that was so easy and accessible to them but so hard to maneuver for elf’s and ESPECIALLY giants
I liked the dwarf civilization from the start because of how civilized they were. They weren’t slaughtering each other over disagreements. Definitely deserved the W.
Finally, a civ video that had actual civilization and strategy not just "OuR gEaR iS oP sO wE wIn". Dwarves deserved that win. They were the spitting image of dwarven mythology as well, giving their lives to defend their people.
I'm glad the team with good morals and no backstabbing won. Shows that a people who stand together is stronger than one that fragments into small factions.
@Muhammad Hanzo A tale taught me this when I was young. It said something like "A single stick can be broken easily. A big pile of the same stick held at the same time not so much"
@@Jambo_Neo the dwarves won with strategy, when you have an obiously stronger enemy you have to use your brain, so they used querilla warfare to outsmart the giants and elves by using their own strengths to their advantage when the enemy just rampaged without any strategy

Dwarfs being the weakest spieces with the lowest health still managed to have the best strategy, kingdom and army. Even with their physical disability's, their will to win and their loyalty to each other is the reason why they were destined to win. truely poetic.
@@roberto-cm1rb They're abilities were quite formidable but compared to the other two that could use magic and the other being twice the health of a normal player... Theyre abilities seemed not able to match such. But with great tactics and strategy they were able to twist the tides!
@@yousufguro8030 i would argue that the small hitbox and ability to go through one block holes was better than the health because they would be almost impossible to hit
Utility is always underrated. The elves and dwarves got too arrogant with their powerful equipment and spells whereas the dwarves strategized around their weakness.
i’m not even a fan of MC anymore but watching these real time simulations just brings back the thought of the shear potetial of this game and how it could be used as a platform for any ideas you wanna pursue
Love that ending. Dwarves civilization are smart and used their mining abilities to their advantage to turn the tides. I also love their quick witted queen and that they didn't lose hope when elves and giants teamed up and even though they are outgeared.
I fucking love how the dwarves basically pulled a Vietnam with the elves and giants, they were out numbered and outgeared but won by being literal fucking rats using gorilla tactics and tunneling. Honestly the greatest comeback I’ve seen in a while.
i know right it was so fun watching them fight it was truly a very good strategy you can also see the dwarf queen realizing her people was winning outside her pickaxe broke immediately stop and surrender without being sad and satisfied instead
na it was their battle strategy, tactics, maneuverability, and teamwork that gave them the win. Ize had the numbers and the gear, but ultimately him and Invictable were not fair leaders that people respected and it showed in their teams lack of coordination.
Not much to do with any „tactics“ or teamwork, it‘s simply that the endzone was set around a huge pile of stone and dirt, rendering the races with height and increased ranged damage useless
Something about Ize stupidity leading his team into the particular underground maze the dwarfs made and watching the dwarfs attack, tunnel, and attack for another side, slowly whittling then down, brings me major joy. The dwarfs tactics was just ankle bite them, run, then do it again, and it worked perfectly. Ize: 0 teams who worked together and beat him: 2. Perfect, as it should be
Yeah I find Ize really annoying I hope he's not in the next one. EDIT: I guess he does add conflict to the video but I just wish he was more like Thanos and less like a bully
@@spookyboyxl3318 because their strategy was to make the elves and giants weaken each other. When the elves and giants realized they were being outsmarted they cheaply teamed together. The dwarves then went to defensive and knew it wouldn’t last and smartly built escape routes that fit their abilities. If the dwarves didn’t have the smarted strategy why didn’t the elves stay in the open and stay together? They fell into the dwarves trap the entire game.
I just LOVE the Dwarves strategy when fighting! "If you can't beat them, be as FRUSTRATING as possible to deal with!" They're size and mining speeds are SO good lol
Okay so we're all in agreement that the Queen of Dwarves is the hero of the story right? This entire thing could have been a feature length film with a Hollywood budget.
@@gost1788 the elves in my opinion had the best start and the option to deck out their bows and spells would have given them a incredible defense. Choosing to fight the enemy that is smaller and utilizes hit and run tactics sealed their fate
@@joyboy1468 ik. In defending they would've been quite powerful. Sadly for them, they chose to attack. And attacking side always has more casualties than defending side.
The dwarf players are probably the coolest people I've seen in videos like this! They had fun, built a great town, worked well together, never gave up and they even had adventures together. Most importantly, NONE of them betrayed each other! I'm proud of the representation they gave my favorite fantasy race! 😁
Eh.. the giants just werent likeminded at all, they didn’t really try much when it came to their events and all kept doing their own things. I’d feel pretty annoyed too being in their race.
I vaguely remember Ize from another Minecraft Civilization video. If he's the one I'm remembering, he basically spent the first 2-ish days grinding out diamond gear, then spent the rest of the event holding the rest of his team at sword-point, forcing them to be batshit aggressive. Was NOT a fun experience for any of that team. And he gets away with it because "its content."
Ize is easily the worst part of these videos. I remember in the skyblock video while everyone was trying to build up their bases and form communities he would just rush them with his goons and burst them down. He's such an asshole and makes the videos difficult to enjoy.
I really liked the dwarven civilization, even though squid wasn't king he still managed to pull off the impossible, by far the most outstanding and underrated character.
It honestly was probably a good thing squid wasn’t the king cause if he was he would’ve been targeted more and may have died much sooner, and it was his plans that helped the dwarves make a comeback.
YEAHHH I WAS ROOTING FOR THE DWARFS THE WHOLE TIME!! WOOOOO The amazing teamwork they’ve shown through out everything, the queen was just amazing! The strategies were amazing, adapting to their surroundings and used their quick wit! Their builds were adorable, and so wholesome with them just eating coal. They were amazing with the teamwork and they deserved to win! This just shows that corruption isn’t needed to win, quite the opposite! They did amazing! 🎉
To me it was his complete lack of leadership, he didn’t even try to unite the giant people, he gave up the moment the situation looked slightly bad for him. And not just that but the other giants plotting to kill him was both annoying and felt deserved. Kinda sad they failed, but I’m very happy to hear him rage at loosing.
Funnily enough, I believe that if Ize had died on the trapped throne, the giants would have stood a much higher chance of winning, he was super antagonistic and essentially made sure the giants would lose
I hated ize he was incompetent and rude he was selfish to his team he killed a lot of giants which left the combined team low,so manly his fault,I did hope he died on the throne but it my opinion, but yeah I was cheering the dwarves on
@@GhostCapAlot16 Ngl, even though his most known appearance on UA-cam was in the Hypixel Skyblock Potato Wars, I think these appearances are very awesome. When I see him in different videos I just can’t do anything but have a huge smile on my face. Technoblade is cool, alright, but Squid deserves attention too.
Here's what made the Dwarves win over the superiorly geared giant and elven alliance. 1. They're small. This one goes without saying, their size let them dig tunnels twice as fast as either of the other two factions. It allowed them to use raw tactics and home ground advantage to gain a number advantage when they were severely outnumbered. 2. They were peaceful. Notice something about the other two factions, assassinations left and right. The elves and giants were down to nearly 20 each before the dwarves were below 30. This gave them a huge number advantage from the beginning. 3. The queen. The dwarvern queen, while not helping that much in hand to hand combat, she was an excellent distraction. With her elytra, doubled health, the mount, and that shiny crown on her head, she was a prime target for the alliance to take care of. They did so, successfully, but not before wasting minutes, with the strongest giants and elves attempting to dig after and slaughter her. This time advantage gave the dwarves a chance to deal finishing blows to the rest of the giants. 4. Squid kid I feel like squid is the most underrepresented player in this whole match. His pvp and military leadership won the dwarves the game during the last battle. Absolutely insane. And lastly, 5. Overall teamwork and awareness. The other 2 factions barely even worked together, only one person was spitting out orders and everyone else was blindly following, not even aware of the situation at hand. No one else had a say in anything, just the generals/kings. Meanwhile the dwarves had a lot of individual say on things, with the general spitting orders at the end and everyone else pitching in during the beginning and mid-game. And the game awareness from the dwarves was insane. They realized what was happening before it was too late, and acted accordingly. Digging underground during the battle of treasure mountain was a strong example of that.
Rooted for the Dwarves since they were so wholesome, cant believe they used guerilla tactics at the end lol. But overall this video was one of the best i ever seen, the drama and storytelling was superb, am very glad that the main players tried to add character into their gameplay like ize and the dwarves doing elections. Hope to see more of this videos.
Ironic that the teams which murdered so many of their own teammates, got a dragon and best equipment, teamed up and still lost to the smart wholesome dwarves
Im so happy ize got what he deserved and the dwarves won. The dwarve's unconventional fighting strategy nullified seup, invictible and ize's gear and overwhelming pvp skill
Squid Kid has learned from his old rival the tactics of war. And damn I love how the dwarven kingdom was so wholesome it made me laugh through the end.
Sad that the Dwarf Queen died, but i’m proud that it wasn’t in vain and the Dwarves managed to pull through and catch the dub, was rooting for them because of how they were more about being together and peaceful rather than being in control, and hostile
Honestly, I’m pretty sure not having a UA-camr on their team helped, UA-camr is love causing drama because it makes better content and they start an argument over the smallest things because they have big heads. Who starts a mutiny because they didn’t get their way?
Dwarfs were by far the best faction with how peaceful they were to each other and I loved their guerrilla tactics and the queen by far was the best leader who truly care for her people.
Seeing the dwarves, who I had been routing for this whole time become the heroic underdogs clutch and pull back victory after all odds were against them with the hero squid kid surviving till the end saving the dwarven race was probably the most amazing thing I've ever seen in Minecraft. also seeing Ize get so frustrated and eventually fall to the dwarves tunneling strats was pretty satisfying. The dwarves were the most peaceful and diplomatic race by far with no internal strife and assassination's because they were mad someone was more popular and they had better gear, they lived in the most harsh climate, got probably the worst mount and yet they stood strong and won by fighting to the last man as they were honestly the only players left without evil in their hearts. An ABSOLUTELY DESERVED WIN.
Yeah it was cool to see them obviously outmatched in combat but using their better mining and smaller size to a tremendous value. They could escape at will with the faster mining and just endlessly ambush their enemies.
I love how the dwarves went full on guerilla warfare tunnelling through caves and playing perfectly to their strengths but the giants and elves went brute force and that got them all killed
Ig I’m toxic lmao cus that was not that entertaining to me they had an incredible retreat advantage and used it wisely but tbh tunneling away is not entertaining to me
@@justsomeguy3978 the elves could have just kept spamming long range Attacks with their spells. Invictable alone instakilled anyone with his special magic. Now imagine if the elves All had bows and staffs while the giants wore swords. The dwarves wouldnt even be able to get close
It was so funny watching how pissed off the giants and elves were getting when the dwarfs would escape through their 1 block tunnels and they elves and giants couldn’t do anything about it.
As soon as the elves were introduced as a split faction I was already a bit biased against them. They had a beautiful civilization at the beginning but the dictatorship ruined it. The giants were my least favorite basically as soon as Ize came back. He and his "gear = more worth" dogma really pissed me off because while he was selfishly mining for himself, everyone else was making an effort for the rest of the team. The dwarves were always just a really nice nation to follow. They had internal stability, nobody had weird grudges for no reason other than "democracy bad lol". In times of war, they were a fierce nation, in times of peace, they were just mining and singing around their campfires.
Ize is that one try hard PvP player who will trash talk you in every possible team-based game then complain no one wanted to help him and trash talk even more in a post-game lobby after a lost match.
@@Nekoszowa Like Ize survived a long time, but I seriously don't remember him doing much else than running away or picking dumb fights only to leave his allies to die because things went south for him. He justifies this all by saying "Well they were losers, they should've gotten better"

I hate that whole “democracy bad, dictatorship good” thing in every Minecraft civilisation video. They legit get upset at seeing their team doing well because THEY aren’t leading
Very entertaining video! The different races with different attributes made it much more intricate! I'd be cool if this was done again with more people.
Ize very much deserved that ending. It's funny. Each played into their archetype perfectly. The elves were haughty and arrogant due to their magic, the giants were dumb and thought they were invincible and the dwarves used crazy amounts of ingenuity. Also anyone else find it ironic that Ize and the Elf guys complained that their groups weren't war like enough? Well Ize probably was just sad that he wasn't in charge and so he lashed out like a child but, the elves were perfectly fine before the cue. After that and the war with the giants they pretty much shot themselves in the foot having lost far too many people and now having far too many dwarves to kill in order to win. The war-like attitude and infighting was what lost them the match.
Dwarfs had such a good matchup against giants. Having a smaller hit box is a massive advantage as you are much harder to hit, that’s why baby zombies are so annoying to kill. This meant that the giants, despite having double health, had a massive disadvantage as hitting the dwarfs was hard (especially when the dwarfs are skilled players who incorporate straifs and dodges into their movement) whereas hitting the giants is easy despite how hard they may try to dodge or straif.
I feel like invictable's arrogance is what cost him in the final battle. If the remaining elves/giants had stayed together, they would have been formidable, however Invictable became so impatient and irritated that he seperated himself from his other two teammates, costing them their lives.
@@AnonymousAnonymous-nn5jr ize had never seperated from hes team in the final battle, it was soup who caused them to lose due to him literally seperating himself
Invictable was a harsh leader who destroyed any companionship his army had left, all for some "stronger warriors". The dwarves not only had all the companionship they needed, but they had trust, bravery, and the tactics to make it far. The queen may have fallen and they were left with the 3 strongest players in the server. With great teamwork and strategy, despite the clear differences in armor, power, and weapons, the dwarves pulled it off and became the remaining civilization. This goes to show, "It's not all about brute strength, the smarter person always wins..."
invict was a puppet, it was 5aitama. 5aitama was actually pretty smart, with the whole starkiller assassinations thing. if they hadn't killed starkiller, they wouldn't have gotten so far. i think the problem was ize, he was too fierce and only brute strength. 5aitama was actually smart.
Ize was a dick and I'm so happy the dwarfs won, they were so coordinated peaceful and kind. Especially the Queen who gave her life for the people, and then the rest of the dwarfs using their brain against the brawn was absolutly AMAZING!!!
I instinctively thought the Elf empire was gonna win. In terms of Health tankiness and 3 types of magical tactics, they were absurdly overpowered. I totally forgot the dwarves had the advantage in their small size, kingdom location and weaponry combined with the pickaxes, it was relatively easy to escape enemies. The pickaxe clutched their whole empire, with its buffed damage and mining capabilites. It is almost impossible to withstand its overflowing aptitude. One amusing of a video, nice work Silver.
Agreed, but i believed they werent op (the dwarfs). Because the elvfes/gigants were blinded with their ego, they literally went to the dwarf lands knowing that the mountains where were the dwarfs had more chances of winning.

Dwarf queen and I’m a squid kid were the best civ members ever
@@cassettecobra3848 I think next time this happens, Ize should be left out so others can have a chance. Seriously....
@@CrimsonDawn-ou4og agreed he always does extra shit not to mention just bully's others to do what he wants
Dwarf queen was my fave

I like how the Elfs and Giants were literally killing their own, while the dwarves of all people had a proper system.
Like it should be
Well Dwarves are always portrayed as some of the most steadfast and least prone to betrayal of the 3 races and the tactics shown by them and good leadership winning out is VERY much the Dwarven way.
@@northseaempireenjoyer6388 Yeah, by the time they were at 5 people, the enemy numbered at a combined 8. Still impressive tho
4. Squid kid
I feel like squid is the most underrepresented player in this whole match.

Dwarfs were by far the best faction with how peaceful they were to each other and I loved their guerrilla tactics and the queen by far was the best leader who truly care for her people.
yeeeee
An ABSOLUTELY DESERVED WIN.
not to mention their Queen's sacrifice was one of the biggest factor of their victory
*rooting
yeah lowkey rooting for them

I like how the dwarves used the caves and their size to their advantage. The other civilizations were reckless trying to beat them in their territory
Yeah it was cool to see them obviously outmatched in combat but using their better mining and smaller size to a tremendous value. They could escape at will with the faster mining and just endlessly ambush their enemies.
@@arandombard1197 yea, it was kind of cool to see the hit and run tactics and gurilla warefare

I love how the dwarves went full on guerilla warfare tunnelling through caves and playing perfectly to their strengths but the giants and elves went brute force and that got them all killed
They learned from the best, the Vietnamese
Ig I’m toxic lmao cus that was not that entertaining to me they had an incredible retreat advantage and used it wisely but tbh tunneling away is not entertaining to me
@@justsomeguy3978 the elves could have just kept spamming long range Attacks with their spells. Invictable alone instakilled anyone with his special magic. Now imagine if the elves All had bows and staffs while the giants wore swords. The dwarves wouldnt even be able to get close
I love how the dwarfs are like the main character, and having great leadership. I was also rooting for that team aswell!
elves and giants: ASSASSINATE THEM
dwarfs: "whoever can find the most coal gets to eat it"
Lol
yes
Ize was a dipshit all the game, screwed hiss team to the death literally, defected to the elves, let them to die to the darwes, even with all the OP stuff they got, in the end team work makes the dream work, do I hate these try hards
I hate that whole “democracy bad, dictatorship good” thing in every Minecraft civilisation video. They legit get upset at seeing their team doing well because THEY aren’t leading
democracy is bad Asf
Ize was just so rude and snotty I’m glad he was taken down by the tunneling dwarves

On the other hand, if the giant manages to land a hit, it hurts a lot more
Also if the giants where the ones invaded they would definitely beat the dwarfs. The dwarfs where in advantage of getting chased
Plus the fact that they high damage pick axes meant they could tunnel and attack without having to switch weapons
It’s strafe not straif
That's why it created this unique relationship
Dwarves > Giant
Giant > Elves
Elves > Dwarves
I feel like invictable's arrogance is what cost him in the final battle. If the remaining elves/giants had stayed together, they would have been formidable, however Invictable became so impatient and irritated that he seperated himself from his other two teammates, costing them their lives.
