Girl, I feel you! Those kinds of comprehension questions make me cry, even in English 😭 my brain is like "when did I even read _____?" or "the answer could be this, or this, or maybe even THIS...why is there only one correct answer?!"
Dwaaaa~ hehehehehe staaaaahp~ I feel like I finally have a "Korean handwriting" Like this it's not awkward chicken scratch anymore, it's actually relaxed now
I admire the dedication! I need to read and write more lol. I tried to write a short journal entry the other day and made some easily avoidable mistakes. And omg star bucks is open everyday of the year. How sad 😞 they don't pay enough to work those employees like that.
Something that has helped me improve my reading skills is trying to sing along to my favorite songs by looking up the lyrics in 한굴. Preferably, start with slow songs that do not involve lots of difficult raps lol. It is a fun way to study and you have no idea how much is has helped me improve reading 😊
Hey, could you please upload a video on how you started learning Korean like what were the first things you learn till now because I still don’t know on what to learn for beginner thanks, love youu❤️😘
Mmmmm if you mean the basics of how I got started, I've actually made a video about which resources I used and how I set my goals. I also made a video demonstrating how I made a study schedule in the beginning as well as a video on how I make study schedules now that you can check out! If you mean a video where I talk about which grammar structures I learned first, I just followed my Integrated textbook. I didn't come up with my own curriculum haha That would have been too much for me to figure out as someone who know nothing about the Korean language!! So since you now have the Korean Stories book, am I the only one confused in the "Tiger who bowed to the chestnut" story, why 봤습니다 kept being spelled 보았습니다?
My understanding is that 보다 can be conjugated as either~ so present tense can be 보아요 or 봐요. 보아 is the full form and 봐 is the contracted form. I’m not 100% sure, but I’m pretty sure that’s what’s going on
Somewhere I heard that 보았습니다 is the original version and 봤습니다 is the modern, shortened version. Korean is all about making that pronunciation shorter and easier, amirite?😉 Maybe they used the older version since it's a folktale and makes it sound more old and folksy 😁😅😆

@@NataliaGarza i just assumed it was a spelling mistake because I have always seen the contracted form 🤷
@@katshe12 the contracted form is normalised that's why we don't see the root form as often, but both are correct forms!^^

@@nataliewood3095 I agree with this^^ It's an older form but more commonly used in literature because it sounds more poetic.
You seriously motivate me to study more and give me so many tips you don’t even know!! Thank you!!! :D
