im doing wireframing right now, thats probably gonna happen to me, and if it doesnt im gonna jinx it and its gonna turn out bad in the end hopefully not but sTILl
Wow amazing work Gemini, you make it look so easy. Great tutorial. I've never attempted to build a dragon but think I might give it go. Keep up the amazing work, great Inspiration 👍👍👍
The wire framing helped me so much! For some reason I've never strayed from my "stick figure" Outlines and then slowly building around the stick frames to what I like, It's always turned out extremely blocky when it comes to organics. But I tried the wire framing on a fox I built and Omg did it help. Thank you so much, this also gives me so much inspiration to put more organics in my builds
"Very simple" but really this helped me a lot. I am making a medival village with my cousins and friends. I will definitely use this tutorial to shape my own. Thanks a lot.
I'm actually really glad you've posted this, on a server there is currently a build comp and I wanted to incorporate a dragon, not quite like this one, more an eastern one but I was able to pick up some things from this one! Perhaps for a future tutorial, you could try an eastern dragon? Amazing video as always
yknow back then i hated these videos you made because it was a timelapse and not a tutorial, but now im older and i completely understand these videos now, sorry for the misunderstanding
This was so helpful!!! Half the tutorials i watch dont explain, but you do explain and give awesome tips. Im doing a fantasy world for my bff as a gift for her bday, and i cant wait till she sees this!! Thank you!! 😋😊😊😊😊
I don't quite enjoy building organics, but it's nice to know the basics of building dragons And the village you pasted the dragon on was the first video I ever saw!
I came here after I watched you on hermitcraft and saw this video, I had also been wanting to build a dragon on our smp, thank you sooo much this method helped me build my best build ever ❤ thank you 😊
I know this is an old video but I just found it and now I am able to make amazing dragons wolves and other cool stuff because of Gem my friends on our private server really like it and I am so grateful that you are so talented
Grian is so much worse on like almost every level. 1. His buildings are so incredibly average 2. His terrain is below average. 3. His organic skills are non-existent
KingPotatoChips lol you’re almost as bad as the cinema sins Fans that’s not the focus of his content if you don’t like that then just don’t watch the videos but you don’t have to complain about it just because you don’t like it but it’s not bad content it’s just content that you don’t seem to like I can list plenty of channels with legit bad Content but none of them are grian If you don’t like him that’s fine and those are good reasons why you like him but not good reasons why other people shouldn’t like him
THANKS FOR THE TUTORIAL GEMINITAY MY KINGDOM LOOKS MORE COOLER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. I MADE MYNE A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT MOSTLY THE BLOCKS. I USED- JUNGLE WOOD PLANKS, LIGHT BLUE GLASS, WHITE CONCRETE AND BLACK WOOL FOR THE EYES
To this day, this is my favorite dragon building tutorial. I'm currently building my 3rd one; a western (4 legged) version with black horns, smokey nostrils and magma block eyes. :) I also learned a lot how to build more natural looking structures. The steps you present how to start are so clever! I am not a builder, and my mind works better with highly abstract geometric forms... Yet, my dragons always turn out so beautiful. :) Thank you, again, for this wonderful guideline!
This really, really helped! I've always loved Dragons and now I have a general idea on making them... The skeleton portion helped me learn about more "skeletal" builds as well! Well done Gemini. Keep it up!
I did want to make a dragon on survival mode so I’m glad you uploaded this video, and I’ve just realised that it’s gonna be a lot of work in survival 😫 pray for me hahaha
gemini i have a question can you maybe make this tutorial a little bit slower i cant even keep up i really want to build it but i dont know where the blocks need to go
I love dragons and they are just so nice and cool looking they are really hard to build and look funny when its in its in its middle stage of being built
I was just having fun in build battles and we had dragons as a theme and it was super fun to do but the head was messed up and didnt able to do the wings lol so i wanted to do a better build with inf time so thanks for the tip ^^
Your such a good builder! I wish I was I’m like the worst I give up veryyy easily and I can’t seem to find good decent building tutorials or inspiration! Anyway you are like the best builder ever know to man I love you and your builds! From Georgie🇦🇺
Wow, it's not that easy. Your an Artist holy ..... 😂 I just subscribed to see more. I will try it to build one. But I am sure it will not look as good as ur Dragon. 😆
Don't know why I never thought of wireframing it first. The only dragon that I have is just a giant head imbedded into a cliffside made of obsidian with netherack/brick accents for the fleshy mandible connectors and coal blocks for the horns with redstone eyes. The interior is like a nightclub and the whole thing is surrounded in netherack and lava with some mobs imprisoned around the base.
I wanted to build a dragon. I searched tips on youtube. I came across this amazing tutorial. I tried to follow it, and now my dragon looks like an oversized chicken. I think im just bad at building dragons, im never gonna learn...
Awesome Awesome Awesome Awesome! im gonna use this to make a HUGE dragon, but i hope it works. Im really bad at organics but when i used this as a helper i was easily able to make a very similar fire dragon. I really hope i can make a giant dragon using this methood tho...
This is one of the best tutorials I have ever seen, I've never built a dragon before and after watching this video I was finally able to build an awesome dragon! thanks so much :)
i still dont get how the hell anyone is able to follow this since its so fast and there are no measurements or anything helpful or am i just bad at guessing
I totally agree with you, I don’t believe this is really a tutorial. She’s just showing us what she did, I need guidance on how many blocks and where to place them. Bluenerd is way better.
Its nice u did this n all but I expected a step by step bc some people like me are too lazy to estimate how many blocks apart and how many in a row and mapping it out trying to copy the build u did ngl
How about a tutorial on dragon builds for builders with a more chibi or minimalist style in minecraft? I know from experience that smaller builds are harder to do but stairs and slabs are a god-sent for this style but I can never get it to look good or as natural as yours do
thank you soo much, ive allways wanted to build dragons, and i've tried by my own for a long tim but in the end, i could'nt quite make it, but at the darkest time, when i almost gave up on dragons, this showed up in my recomended page, i saw the title and i just had to see what this had to offer, and i acctually made an amazing dragon thanks too you. much apreachoated (sorry, english isnt my first language so i dont know how to spell that word...) amazing build you also made
Bruhh... I tried building a dragon, but it looks like a duck at the end
Gg
ducks are better anyway so I don't see the problem

I'm crying AHAHHAHAHAH

Crippled bird is best dragon

Wow amazing work Gemini, you make it look so easy. Great tutorial. I've never attempted to build a dragon but think I might give it go. Keep up the amazing work, great Inspiration 👍👍👍
BlueNerd Minecraft lol what’s up man? I found you on here. Do you think you might build one on your channel?
Please do

i ended up making an exact copy and my brain is tired from trying to count the blocks lmao
DBTossup respect
Did you manage to do it?
Bro if u still have the world i would rlly appreciate if u told me the blocks count
@Timothy Luts fr 😭
yeah tutorials like this are more of a guessing game
"Very simple" but really this helped me a lot. I am making a medival village with my cousins and friends. I will definitely use this tutorial to shape my own. Thanks a lot.

I loved ypur tutorial! Managed to build a really good looking Dragon! Cost me the whole day 😂

Thx so much. I could never figure out how people do it and now this tutorial has made my builds make me feel better than I’ve felt in years
AMAIZING, i'm gonna use this to build a giant copper wyvern that caches lightning on my hardcore world
This video helped me get the core basics of dragon building, thanks. gonna try more after going through making this one.
If your doing this in survival and you have no more blocks you can use the wire frame as bone and create a skeleton dragon
That looks AMAZING, you are a huge inspiration for me, so keep on building :)
I don't quite enjoy building organics, but it's nice to know the basics of building dragons

I can't do this without a tutorial and this wasn't really a tutorial for me but this is really good, you've got good building skills
Wow how come I haven't found such an amazing builder until now Your on bar with grian
