Oops, my bad! I spaced out a bit since iron is the only molten metal out of the six the addon introduces that does not match the ore color 1:1. I'm sure the answer to that is just the varying melting points for each leading to different levels of blackbody radiation, but that usually isn't at the forefront of my mind when playing Minecraft 😂
there was a issue with the molten metals mod. It unbounds the tag for wooden logs, meaning you can not make wooden planks anymore because wooden logs are not considered wooden logs by the game. would be amazing mid to late game as it invites people to build wood crafters, but early on is unplayable.
From looking at the video: raw block -> 1296mB 144mB -> mold Raw block / 9 = 144mB. So it's just 1 for 1. A furnace would yield the same results. In my opinion, this should yield more than 1:1, otherwise there's not much incentive for the player to actually go through the effort of putting this together.
I think the laser one is underrated because without someone like you to show is how it works, it's even too hard to use as decoration. LOVE THE VIDS!!!
With the optics mod, you could use the microwaves to make an invisible tripwire. If a player tries sneaking into your base but hits an invisible beam and the trap triggers when input is disrupted, you have a Lazer tripwire. I wonder if an invisible player or mob still blocks the beam...

@@TrickySpirit there is no point in using the mod outside of aesthetics (at least when talking about iron since he didn't show the other recipes) Every raw iron gets turned into 144mb of molten iron, and to make a full ingot you need 144mb of the molten iron.
