This video is perfect for new players. I found a lot of this information scattered across different sources over the past few days, but as a brand new player, I wish I had found this on day one. It's a concise and comprehensive guide that covers everything you need to know right off the bat.
Great vid! With a friend of mine, we're looking to get into the game. We intended to get some preconstructed blitz-deck to try, but if/when we want to try construcet classic deck, is there an extension that is a must-have, or does it really depend on the kind of decks we want ?
Unfortunately no specific expansion is best, really depends on which heroes you are using. Singles are typically the best way to expand a blitz deck. Enjoy FaB!!
I only got back into mtg because I was able to play it again in the app. I’m not going to spend money on a game I’ve never played. Make an app. The game will blow up.
There is Talishar, if you want to try the game on a digital platform. It's completely with but most people playing on it are usually veterans using it to practice the game. There wont be an official digital game like Magic Arena.
I would recommend picking up some of the preconstructed blitz decks. Pick a hero you enjoy playing out of those and collect the set or buy singles for that hero
Complete tcg newby here, can every set play with everyset? Or what? I wanna buy some booster boxes but i wanna make sure i can actually use them against ppl lol
Yes, for the most part. Sometimes combos are found over the years and that causes certain cards and heroes to not be used in the competitive circuit, but for blitz and LL games, every card can be played
What an utter synthesis of everything a beginner would need to know about the game. I LOVE IT.
as a new player i agree.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate that. Glad I could help :)
Thanks for this, Sharing to all the new players I'm guiding into the game
I used to play MTG. Took my kids to the store today and found out about this game. Thank you for the intro.
Enjoy!!
Hope you and your kids enjoy the game. Since the intro to heavy hitters the game is in a pretty great and diverse place
Good stuff ! Thanks for sharing.

I want to buy and open some cards and then learn more about playing. Any booster boxes I should buy at this time?

If you want to learn the game, the blitz precons are best. If you just want to collect, maybe start with history pack or welcome to rathe
Thank you! :)

Yes, basically!
Appreciate the video.

The real question is how do we get into you in 2024 ;)
you dont get into FAB in 2024. you are too late already.
I certainly think this is not true, we regularly see people who get into FaB win major events in their first 6 months
What a ridiculous thing to say. People getting into magic after 20+ years. It's never too late.
My friend and I just got into FaB just this recent week; it's been great. Making the shift over from playing Magic regularly.
